Natural Health Works - Joanne Gordon

So this is my first experience going to a natural path and let me tell you, wish I had started years ago. I have been seeing Dr. Dreger and he is amazing. He is very professional, answers all my questions and has found solutions to my health issues. Oh.and he did acupuncture for me.let me tell you.better than massage in my humble opinion. I also receive Dr. Gordon's emails, you tube videos and invited to a book club put on by her.

I have been a nurse for 28 years and she has taught me more about nutrition than I learned taking my college nutrition classes. She makes it simple, straight forward and easy to understand. So thank you.highly recommend either of these doctors. You will be in good hands.

We have been seeing Dr Gordon for a few months and are already getting answers on what's really wrong health-wise. We have seen other MD's for two years and all they have done is prescribe Rx for symptoms instead of figuring out the cause of the health issues. No improvements to health until now. We are still working with her as we are only at the tip of the iceberg but we have finally found doctor that we trust and is working with us to find real answers instead of keep us on pills. Dr Gordon and her staff are understanding, caring and wonderful to work with.

Top notch! Dr Dreger is knowledgeable and detailed, he listens to you, and addresses your needs! Best acupuncture and chiropractor I've ever seen! I always leave feeling amazing! Highly recommended!

Dr. Dreger was able to alleviate pain I have had for over 8 months. His knowledge and expertise is above excellent. The mistake made is the fact that I should have seen him first instead of spending time and money elsewhere. He recognized the problem right away and was able to go forth with the proper treatments. I am grateful that I am going to get back to living pain free.

The best natural health Care clinic around. Caring, genuine doctors that get to the point and help you to feel better! They listen to you, address your needs and accurately pinpoint your deficiencies. They have helped my husband and myself feel better after thinking this was as good as we were ever going to be. They deserve 10 out of 5 stars because they go above and beyond to help you. And Dr Gary Dredger is the best!

Dr. Gordon is just awesome. She is thorough, explains the process and goes the extra mile to figure things out. I've seen a significant improvement in my health since I began treatment. I start acupuncture with Zach this week and am looking forward to it!

Today May 15, 2019 I took my sister to see Dr Dreger for the first time because she has many health issues. Dr Dreger spent over an hour looking at her medical records and talking to us about a game plan to help my sister turn her health around. I loved him. He is so caring, knowledgeable and just simply wonderful. I'm so confident that he is where God put us to help my sister with all her health issues. I've been here twice now. I'm seeing Dr. Gordon for various things but mainly for symptoms relating to peri-menopause. I got tired of going to see my primary doctor and having labs done telling me I was in the "normal" range. I have sleep issues off/on, hormone issues, hot flashes, etc.and so I finally thought it was time to find a naturopath.

This place is covered by Kaiser too. Dr. Gordon is pretty direct and to the point, which I appreciate. She has a great deal of experience and seemed to know exactly what to do. What is difficult for me is the out of pocket cost. It is a lot upfront with the lab fees and supplements. I wish that it could be done a little bit more gradually that all at once.

I really believe that this in an investment in my health though, and is providing me with answers I was unable to get with normal healthcare. I feel fortunate to be able to do this. I hope to overall improve my internal health, sleep, energy, hormone balance, etc. Without being on meds. I do wish in general there prices were known upfront. Some are not so much, some are.

I try to focus on the big picture. Just know labs and supplements are exta, not covered by insurance. Shouldn't stop you from coming here. This clinic seems to be on top of things and know what they are doing, especially Dr. Gordon.

I love love this office. They are great people. Even the professionals I don't see are courteous and take the time to see how I'm doing and even know my name. Sounds trivial but it makes you feel welcome. Gary has gone above and beyond with his care and compassion. I would recommend this office I just can't say enough. Amy the massage therapist I see is also wonderful. These people truly care for their patients.

Love the calming atmosphere. Dr. Gordon was really helpful and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Although the front desk isn't as helpful, they take forever to get back to you with your blood work results and with insurance verification, I recommend calling instead because their email responses are slow. Overall great naturopathic place and the doctors are wonderful.

I have had a couple appointments at Natural Health Works and never benefitted from them. Was told to buy expensive supplements that did not work. I had an appointment in February and was told my appointment would be covered under my insurance. I asked MULTIPLE times to make sure. I am a broke college student who can barely afford to go to the doctor as it is.

I received a large bill in the mail for my 20 minute appointment, and have been fighting it for months. I cannot believe how scammed I feel by this business right now. All this money for a 20 minute appointment that has not helped me whatsoever. I will never recommend this business to anyone, especially with this bitter taste left in my mouth. Nice to know you care about your clients, especially local ones who live right up the road and would have continued to see you. EDIT: 09/23/2017 After seeing this review, Natural Health Works corrected the bill and called me to apologize.

I appreciate that, and it makes me feel a lot better. Not sure why it was so easy to correct the problem after my complaint and not at the beginning, though. Thank you for correcting the issue.

I had intense muscle pain along my upper shoulders October of 2014. I went to Dr. Gordon who gently adjusted, massaged, trigger pointed, and manipulated me. She also suggested I get acupuncture from her colleague, Dr. Dreger. I've never had acupuncture, after several visits to each of these doctors and five months later, I am pain free. A successful treatment for sure. I'm extremely happy with their care. Plus our insurance covers alternative care and added bonus.

I LOVE Natural Health Works! I have gone here for about a year for naturopathic care, acupuncture, supplements, massages, and adjustments. I have been seeing Dr. Dreger and he had been wonderful to work with. He takes time to get to know you as a person, seeks to understand your health issue(s), and then looks for holistic ways to get to the root of the issue. I am so grateful to have found such wonderful care! The staff is very friendly and professional. I Natural Health Works!

Zach is absolutely amazing! He has helped me with my anxiety greatly and he has also helped me with my chronic neck pain. The whole staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend Zach for acupuncture. He has been extremely helpful! He is kind and gentle and makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable. I am very grateful for being able to work with him!:

Dr. Dreger is the BEST! Take any problem to him, seriously anything, and he'll fix it! He's a very capable Dr. and a good, kind, gentle care taker. HIGHLY recommend to all!

I am glad to find this great place! I work until 6pm so its hard to find a place thats open past 5! I've been seen for prolotherapy for injections to help treat my joint pains and whenever I'm needing to de-stress and relax I get massages their too! Staff is all about there patients!

PROLOTHERAPY WITH OZONE ROCKS called respectively prolozone Well i went to see DR. Gordan because I have such a really bad knee that pretty much needs a knee replacement. I am a runner, well used to be a marathon runner and avid sports person and have had 4 knee surgerys I am in pain a lot of the time and have a hard time doing the things i like to do without residual pain.

I have seen Joanne once for Prolotherapy and ozone therapy injections. I had instant relief and have had, for the past 2 months, little to no pain. I am returning to get another injection this week and and then another 4 weeks from then. I have to say that the injections really do work I have tried other natural things and supplements with very little relief.

I have taken MSM, chondroitin, glucosamine, SAMe, and others but none compare to this treatment. Joanne is very skilled at what she does and really loves what she does she is gentle and has a sonogram to really direct her exactly where to inject the solution. I have been told that I need a knee replacement but am happy that this can buy me some time and may even reverse some of the damage I have done to my knee. I would sign up for 3 total injections to get the full benefit.

I often recommend this clinic to my friends. My experience is mainly with Dr. Gary Dreger and Dr. Joanne Gordon but everyone I have worked with there is excellent and very warm and friendly. The doctors really focus on helping patients find a higher level of overall well being. I love that they treat the whole person. Their depth of knowledge and experience with all kinds of natural treatments has been tremendously helpful to me.

For one thing, I am much lighter than I was when I started there, though that wasn't even my goal, or the focus of my treatment. With compassion, they helped me get my body in balance. Then the weight came off very easily and naturally. I also used to have quite a bit of low back pain, but not anymore. They took the time to look beneath the surface to find the root causes of my health issues, so I could stop struggling and really get well.

Wow! What a great clinic. I do all my healthcare needs at this one location. Naturopathic Doctor, Acupuncture, and Massage. The practioners are extremely knowledgable and have helped all my medical problems. I dont go to anyone else now. The Naturopath fixed my horrible digestive issues. The acupuncture made me quit smoking (2 years now). The massages are very relaxing and they do a great job. The office manager is a whiz at insurances and was extremely helpfull. The prices are very affordable.
