I live in Milton and have used the ER on a few occasions. With the exception of one physician I found lazy doctors sitting around while patients waited for a doctor too full of himself to be efficiently using his time. When I need the hospital I don't expect much but on a (very) rare occasion I'm surprised. Only go here if you must.p

They treat employees badly and more so if they are of color. They are paid a miserable salary and those poor employees work like animals. My mother was there for 4 days and the service is lousy, the bathrooms are dirty and smelly. They are racist because because the employees all comment on that.

Amazing staff amazing. Wow the screener stopped me before I told her that I am going to visit my91 year old mother. She used a food tong to hand me the mask! So rude and unprofessional with deep voice and scary eyes. You could see she hates her job then she accused me of being rude. Lol Worst hospital ever I regretdeeply that my mother went there.

I only hoped that she was not going to die.there at their mercy Y On top of everything she had to change case manager because no one could not figure out a discharge planning for her and that lady was so inconsiderate and unprofessional asking personal questions to my mother about the reasons why she could not go and live at my house. Finally when the director of case management stepped up to the plate to help out at the end she told me that I need to sell my house in order to pay for long term care for my mother!seriously?

She even told me that the hospital is not meant to address patients' social issues! Really! Really! Many times while my mother was there she told me that she wanted to suffocate herself so she could die because the way they treated her.she will wait hours before they could come and take her out from the commode I waited 3 hours for her before the ambulance drove her home and guess what?

Not even discharge instructions or paper with her! Now what is the consequence for poor work ethics? Please don't tell me to call the director of patient services what is she going to do for me and my mother? Comfort us by telling us that she and her team are so sorry

My doctor sent over an order for an MRI, as she is out of BIDMC Quincy practice. I received a call yesterday (Tuesday) to schedule it, but missed the call. I called back at 11 am, and was immediately put on hold, in excess of 30 minutes. An automaton told me my call would be answered in the order it was received, and that there were 5 calls in front of me.

Leave detailed message. No call by 230pm. Call back. Same scenario. Another 20 minutes. Call back again, leave another message. No call back. Call this morning at 9am. Another 30 minutes. Only this time, the phone would start ringing, but no one picked up, and the call was dropped. No call back by 1pm. Call and leave another message. No call back.

It is now 3pm, and I'm on ANOTHER hold - 22 minutes so far. I am so far beyond frustrated, I don't have the words. I can tell you absolutely, I will never use this hospital for any medical needs. I'm also pretty alarmed at the number of people who report experiencing a serious disparity in care due to their race. That is unacceptable. It makes me ill to think of these people in pain, sick, scared; going to a hospital for HELP from medical professionals. only to be faced with indifference and racism. First, do no harm.

My Loved one was not treated with dignity or respect.up until the day he passed. My loved one was there for Covid. This hospital is racist and you can see it by the way they treat you there actions the word choice that they use and it's even worst as a foreigner from Africa they treat you like you don't know you're rights and basically treat you like you are nothing.

I can't speak for everyone but I can speak for my blacks Don't leave your loved ones in the hands of the nurses and doctors here. A life gone for no reason but hate and laziness and lack of empathy. If only I knew I would turn back time but I can't, a hospital should not leave you feeling this way about your loved one I should feel comfortable and I should feel like the doctors did everything they could but unfortunately I don't.

I have been coming here for a hip problem for over 2 years + Covid kept messing things up but finally had my surgery April 2021. Can't say enough about the care from my doctor: Nina Shervin to her desk staff and all the nurses and techs that have cared for me. I have had multiple visits to Radiology and can not say enough about the staff there. From the receptionists to the Xray techs everyone has always been pleasant, professional and efficient.

I had a severe amount of pain after my surgery(no fault of anyone). So I ended up being in the hospital for 5 days. The food was excellent, had a private room and constant care. I knew the the nurses were understaffed and overwhelmed so I worked with the them as best I could do as not to be demanding or a pain. I would give 5 stars except for one issue that needs to be addressed: Parking.

There is not enough parking on site. Some days when I've come for follow up visits I have to drive around waiting for someone to leave to get a parking spot. If the hospital is going to continue to expand and grow within it has to address the problem. Other than building a multi layered garage on site the only way I think they can fix this is to do what South Shore Hospital in Weymouth has done. Years ago they acquired a very large lot off campus and unfortunately have their employees park there and bus them to the hospital.

Absolutely disgusted by this hospital. Nursing staff do nothing but gather at the front desk and laugh at patients calling for help. The security at the front desk is completely rude and insensitive. Shame on this emergency room. Avoid this place at all cost.

I had a surgery last month. Long story short I was going to lose my life because of the negligence of the nurses. In the recovery room they were pushing me to wake up and dress up to leave home same day. I told them that I'm nauseous but they didn't Care. The nurse took me to the toilet and I could barely walk then I passed out. I didn't remember what happened after that.when I opened my eyes I found my self in a room connected to monitors and surrounded by a doctor and nurses.

All the nurses in the recovery room don't listen to the patient needs. I told them that I'm not able to walk and very nauseous but they were pushing me to wake up/ dress up/ walk to the bathroom to get discharged without caring how If I feel good or not. Worst experience ever, I wish I could give zero star. I pay a lot money to the insurance company to get a good service not to get neglected and almost die there.

My mom came here for a scheduled ct scan and mri. She was not monitored as she should have been afterwards just immediately discharged. She drove home where she began to vomit and faint. She had just enough strength to call 911 before she passed out. The ambulance took her to the second worst hospital in the state South Shore Hospital. She was dead by the time I got there.

No one should leave one hospital and end up dead in another 2 hours later. I would have paid anything to had her life treated like it mattered. It's really sad that because she doesn't look well off she's neglected. How you look and financial status shouldn't matter in life and death situations. This happened in October 2021. I still have no answers on what exactly happened but I know she must have perhaps had exposure to the radioactive dye it must've been administered incorrectly.

If these hospitals weren't so neglectful they could have saved her. I'm sure south shore had her in the hallway disoriented and unable to advocate for herself properly until it was too late. When I got there her room was a disaster epipens all over the ground. She had fluid in her lungs that was coming out of her intubation. like it's common knowledge to me someone with no medical degree to not intubate when she had fluid in her lungs. Drain the fluid.

She clearly had a negative reaction during her scheduled procedure here that turned out fatal. Please don't go here for anything you will die. These 2 hospitals are legit committing murder and I don't know how no one cares. I'm going to get this place shut down. I can not sleep I can't eat I can't believe this is real. It's so sad. I wish I changed her plan of care. Brighams is the only safe place truly don't go anywhere else I have sooo much regret. I wish I found my voice sooner so I could've spoke up and saved her. I wish she called me and not 911 I would have saved her.

When I walked into the ER, I was never expected to come out alive. I was in liver failure and didn't even know it. With the nurses at this hospital by my side for the time I was here, I was literally given a second chance at life. The doctors really weren't sure what to do until I got into Boston's transplant center, but the nurses did. They stayed by my side and tried every way possible to lift my spirits and get me healthy. I am forever grateful for the entire staff (security!) I know I would not be alive at 33 without them!
