Cosmetic Dermatology at South Shore Skin Center offers the highest level of personal, individualized skincare in both our Norwell and Plymouth offices. Founded in 1984, South Shore Skin Center also operates innovative dermatology practices at both locations that feature advanced medical dermatology services and Mohs Surgical Units for skin cancer.
We understand the importance of your skin. When making decisions about your skin health, we know that making the right one takes a lot of your time and research. We will take the time, research and worry out of your decision. We offer a full range of trusted medical dermatology services, all under one roof.
If you're considering surgical excisions, our dermatologists can recommend a surgical dermatology treatment to help. These treatments can lower the risk and spread of skin cancers like basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), and melanoma. While skin cancer is easily treatable, early detection is key.
Facial wrinkles, frown lines, crow's feet, age spots, or a tattoo you are not happy with? We can help, and we have the full range of services you're looking for. There's no need to feel overwhelmed by the many cosmetic dermatology services available today or to spend countless hours researching them.

Booked an appointment as a new patient at the Norwell office 3 months ago. Few days before my appointment date, I received an email reminder showing that my appointment's location is in the Plymouth office. Called the office to confirm and receptionist said it's in Plymouth! Next available appointment would be 3 months from now in December! If I hadn't registered online on their portal I would've never known this and would've showed up at the wrong location that day! Best the office manager could do was place me on a waiting list. This is unacceptable.

I'm not sure how the services but to try to get an appointment is a nightmare. And when you get the appointment you show up and they say it's for a different day now you have to go through the nightmare again. If you have a bunch of time to make appointments and show up places and then make more appointments and not get seen this is the place to go.

I have been coming here for many years, starting in Plymouth and having a few procedures done in Norwell too. I can't say enough great things about SSSC, from reception, to the assistants who help perform procedures, right to my Doctor, who is the MASTER of anything to do with your skin! That would be none other than Dr. Eisen; he's performed quite a few MOHS surgeries on me, particularly on my face, with hundreds of stitches that you couldn't even see with the human eye after they were all healed. Again, I can't say enough great things about SSSC, especially Dr. Eisen. Highly recommend!

Nice people and nice facility, but my recent experience has put a sour taste in my mouth. I had an appointment for 9:30 and wasn't seen until 10:10. In my opinion that is absolutely ridiculous. There was no apology or acknowledgement of the wait either; I'm typically very understanding of doctors offices running late, but this was unbelievable. If you do choose to go here I'd advise you to clear your schedule.

Well, I started out in Plymouth about a yr and 1/2 ago, now Ive been going to Norwell office. I love the place, love the people, but had a frustrating experience. I'm in the middle of a 2 different series of 5 treatments each and was given a price, of course as we began. Now the price has increased but I was assured I was "grandfathered in" by the esthetician.
I told her I was relieved cuz "I'm killing myself to do this." She again assured me, "no, ur grandfathered in. ( I realize this is not a necessity) but, Ive committed to it. As I went to pay first time the esthetician followed me out and told receptionist, Shivonne, shes grandfathered in to old pricing. Shivonne typed in the computer, so I thought she was putting that info in with my account.
I didnt give it another thought.yet. 2 times later as I went to pay the receptionist, she charged the new price, so I sd, 'no, Im grandfathered in to original price.' She goes back to ask esthetician. I hear her yell at the esthetician, "WHY would she be grandfathered in!? ' Comes back and says yes, old price. Then I realizes, I think she charged me new pricing last visit also.
So I say, "oooh, I think I paid new price last visit also then." So she says, "Ill go ask again" This time she comes back with esthetician who said, basically 'no, .cuz. and.1st treatment. no.like we discussed.' So I paid, tho by definition 'grandfathered in' means for the duration of. I'd definitely not have agreed to simultaneous treatments. So, ASK questions and ask again, get it in writing, or u may be in the middle of something u can no longer afford. And as a side note, if they began a promotion while u had already signed on for treatments, u can be sure u'd be grandfathered in to the old pricing.
