An injury or disease can harm the joint and make it painful to move. Although elbow pain is not typically life-threatening or serious, it can hinder an individual's quality of life since the elbow is necessary to perform certain arm and hand movements.Hand and wrist pain can be frustrating. All of our physicians are Board Certified and are fellows of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Physicians at South Shore Orthopedics have also completed additional fellowship training in shoulder surgery, sports medicine, hand surgery and adult reconstructive surgery. Our practice has hospital privileges at South Shore Hospital, New England Baptist Hospital and others.

Given the frequently urgent nature of an orthopedic practice, our surgeons may need to rearrange their office schedules from time to time. Although we prefer not to cancel any patient's appointment, our office staff may need to do so if the physician is called away to an emergency. Please provide our staff with an alternate telephone number in the event that an emergency rescheduling situation arises.
Questions answered promptly and at the post op appointment his explanation was thorough. All of his team is knowledgeable and treated me respectfully and with kindness. Bernie is great and spends a lot of time with you to be sure you understand what is going on, why, and what treatment options are available.

I have been seeing Dr. Seidman for some back, shoulder, and wrist injuries sustained in auto accident. He has been nothing but awesome! He listens and is concerned about my concerns. He understands that I want to get back to work but understands also that I can not give it 100% yet as I am still healing. He is not dismissive with my concerns, listens to the patient! This was my third surgery with Dr. McConville and so far, as with my previous surgeries, my results have been fantastic! I couldn't recommend him more for shoulder and elbow issues! I had been visiting for over a year trying to manage my elbow pain, however it finally came down to the surgical management. Throughout the entire process, the staff was fantastic from the office visits to the staff in the surgical department.
The pre-op and post op staff were not only professional, but extremely attentive to ensuring that all was well in recovery! To Courtney, Julie, Linda, Michaela, Melissa and those i may have missed thank you for taking such great care!

Dr McConville and all his staff were so professional and so easy to contact and work with. I had a total shoulder replacement and felt that everyone was communicating and on the same page from the first diagnosis. The online patient portal as well as direct numbers to reach staff made dealing with this practice very easy.

Dr. Owen McConville has done numerous surgeries for myself and my husband. I have nothing but praise for him and his immediate staff. Hands down, the GOAT in Orthopedics! His right hand gal Sue is such a pleasure to work with in scheduling or asking questions you may have about your procedures. He almost always runs on time and is pleasant, caring and has a great sense of humor! I would highly reccomend any one to him!
