I have a chronic heart condition. I used to use the e.r. for quite some time because no matter what physician was on duty, I was always treated well and with continuity as far as what works, what doesn't, cardiac consult etc. The last encounter I had with Dr wright was beyond miserable. Was waiting for a transfer. The last medicine I was given was at 9p.m.
My nurse came in and asked how the medicine did. I told her it helped a bit. She then asked what worked best in the past. I told her what the medics used and what they use almost every time. Bad answer apparently. Apparently 14 years of dealing with this and I guess I shouldn't know what works. I guess it was ignorant of me to expect the same treatment when the chief of the ed and every other doctor besides wright and Raheem treat my condition the same.
After I tried 3 different meds, Dr wright refused to do anything else. So for 6 hours, she refused to treat the problem. Raheem told me to just take a nitro and lay down at home. Wouldn't even send in zofran. I have refused to see him ever again. Or wright. So in the future, I will take the risk to myself and have my wife or daughter drivee the extra ten miles to a hospital where I've been treated the same, no matter what physician is on duty.
I stopped coming to schneck for almost a year before I thought I'd give It another shot. Dr wright ruined that for me. I refuse to sit on a hospital bed for hours in pain. I don't care what your circumstances are, if you have a legitimate complaint, it's insane and honestly ignorant to sit, in a hospital, in pain and the solution right there in the files to see.
Absolutely ridiculous. People are getting real weary with having to suffer for other people's issues. It should never be that way in healthcare! After Raheem discharged me with instructions to try resting cause you know, I'd have never thought to try rest. smdh. 3 days later, had to get a new stent. That's the 2nd time in 3 years that he's discharged me only to end up in the cath lab within a week. Didn't even consult with my heart doctor. I do have a recording of some of the discussions with my nurse from that night if schneck management is interested.

Would never reccomend this er. It is the worst. Im 26 weeks pregnant and went in with high heart rate and was having a hard time breathing. I sat for over an hour and a half waiting to be seen until I finally walked out. We watching 3 nurses come out and stand at the front desk for a good ten minutes and just laugh and carry on with the nurse. Absolutely ridiculous and makes me want to second guess on having my baby there.

My wife was in a car wreck and she was the last one to be seen, we were in there for 12 hours waiting on the nurses and doctors. And her son tried suicide and the doctor said we could go outside and smoke while we wait and we just can't leave the property, but the lady at the front desk threatened to call CPS on us. The nurses were rude, and the communication sucked.
I ended up getting kicked out over tossing my keys in the chair. And when it came to fill out the paperwork to sign her suicidal son over, they gave us another suicidal kids papers. Highly recommend to never go to this hospital unless you just wanna waste money and your time

*edit: two years later and I still get billed and every time I have to spend over an hour on the phone with medicaid and they keep telling them to stop billing us.* The people and facilities here are exceptional. I must be mistaken that currently they do accept state insurance. But my kids have a bill right now from the Cincinnati ER professionals because about 9 months ago, Schneck did not accept state insurance.
In their ER, it was really unfortunate. They also charge ten times more for simple bloodwork panels. Our community deserves better. And a hospital in Jeffersonville told me if they are going to charge more than $1,000 they have a responsibility to tell you. They charged me $1500 for something that would have been $150 in Jeffersonville. They took so much money from my flex spending account that surgery cost way more for me.

Horrible experience. Here for an appt upstairs and we had to come downstairs for a psychiatrist review for my son. The ED nurses were rude and angry. We were not expecting to be here this long for his appt (5 hours) my son is diabetic and we have asked several times for something for him to eat. We didn't have any cash on us at the time and even if we did the cafeteria was closed. very rude nurses, acted like they hated even being here. Ridiculous place

I had a procedure done back in November 2021 and had one of the best experience (other then them being late) that I have ever had. I want to thank everyone involved in making this happen. Jannette CST, L Davidson RN, Any C. RN, Michelle M RN, Monies C RN, Savannah S, Barb L CST, and Carrie L RN. And I want to send out a special thank you to the one of you that stroked my hand as I was falling asleep, that meant the world to me.

Took a very long time to register for op surgery. I do have a long history, but it was frustrating and different than any hospital I've been to for surgery. Lab was very nice and quick. Lots of confusion with the multiple calls back and forth and messages they left for me. Doesn't instill confidence to be honest. Clean facility. Masks worn.

I was kindly greeted when I walked through the ER doors and then was fairly quickly registered (I had been in the system already). My husband and I only sat in the waiting room between ten and twenty minutes before they called me back to be seen. Shortly after I got back to the room they placed me in, they started getting samples for lab work. Every staff member that I talked to was very friendly, personable, and also very thorough! Thank you all for helping my night be so much better than it could have been!

I have been visiting this hospital for various reasons for 5 years now. Each time I have been treated with care and respect. In January, I gave birth to my son. All the labor and delivery staff, especially the nurses, were amazing! Because of them, I had a beautiful experience. I will always recommend this hospital.
