I went to the location at Northside and ask for a COVID PCR test to travel to Nassau, I ask the lady at the front desk, and also the technician and was told they could do it and it would be $150.00 and insurance would not pay. I got the negative test done and uploaded with my visa application to get into the Bahamas and it was denied because it was not a PCR test like I was told and paid for.

I ask for a refund and was told they would not give me one because they did the test, I spoke with a supervisor and in a very rude fashion was tole the same thing. Now I'm out $150.00. William Newton

They have the most nastiest, unprofessional and ignorant nurses I have ever seen in my life and I am a nurse. Not only have they given me the run around the last 3 days concerning my daughter but they have continually lied to me concerning her medical conditions every day they give a different story. I'd choose 0 stars if I had the option. I've never seen anything like this in my life.

I was grateful that they took me in so quickly, but I didn't like the fact that they told me I had covid without showing any proof. Plus they gave me medication that I didn't need. They took x-rays when they didn't need to.

The evening lab crew went above and beyond to help a patient. I was able to witness a lab team member escort the patient to her destination rather than point. And that was after making several calls to figure out how to help the patient. Excellent service excellence! I'm unsure of her name but at the reception counter in lab! 1/21/22 at 1930

Dr Moussa is super rude, didn't do anything to find the problem, made me cry and I had to ask him 3 times to leave my room before he did. I called Susan Streetman she told me to come back in and tell them not to let him treat me but to get some one else to, so I went back to the er I was told I had no choice but to let him see me.

This rating is only because i didn't die in their care. I was admitted for 10 days & was EXTREMELY sick and was in ICU for the first couple of days. I have no memory of that part so I can't say what level of care i received. However, once being on med/surg floor the nurses were kind enough. Though i did have an LPN yell from my room "i never had a triple lumen, what's my med line".

Overall nurses & RT's were good. BUT, i laid there sweat literally RUNNING head to toe. My linens were not changed once, no one helped me bathe, even wipe off once. I sat in my own filth for ten days. THE WORST was the Dr assigned to me. Dr Stewart Van Grizzard. Hes a judgemental, Holyer than thou. I was in excruciating pain w/ bilateral pneumonia & fractured ribs.

What or amount of meds were not sufficient but HE thought so. I truly may still file a formal complaint, as i reported all this to administration and obviously they couldn't care less. In the end i wondered if this is what it's like to be in a nursing home.

Took my sister for extreme knee pain. Everyone was friendly, helpful & efficient. They did everything they could to help her. But, except for a brief consult with a doctor during check-in, everything (including collection of private info) was done in the waiting room.?

I have read all of the negative reviews about Upson Regional, let me start by saying that I was born in this hospital many years ago. This hospital has served my family well for generations from birth to death. Broken bones, appendectomies, tonsillectomies, cancer, you name it. Each visit that I made to this place was pleasant, always. My mother was recently there with terminal stage 4 cancer.

The staff was tremendously excellent, loving, caring, going out of their way to make sure that not only my mom's but all of our needs were met. I would name names here but I can't remember them all so it wouldn't be fair. I had nicknames for some of them like Dr Feelgood who was the wonderful nurse that brought mom her medicines and helped her take them.

The people who cleaned the room so good, you could eat off of the floor. But there was one nurse that stood out the most and I feel needs high honors or recognition, and that was nurse Rachel Clay. Thank you nurse Clay for all of the special love and attention that you gave my Mom. There is a special place in heaven waiting for you I'm sure. Maybe you are one of the Lord's angels in disguise, I don't know.

But all in all, the full staff was excellent from intake to discharge. As for Dr Williams, I will forever be in a debt of gratitude to this man for the care that he had shown not only to my mom but to my whole family. As for all of the negative, sour grapes posts about this place, you have to judge for yourself but in my part, this hospital has always been excellent for me and my family for generations.

One of my employees from out of town came here with severe abdominal pains. Took 2.5 hours to see him, another hour in back room for doctor to come in and order blood work and ct scan, which seems to be this hospitals go to, and behold.6.5 hours later and still counting sitting in the car waiting for him.this is horrible.got here at 2:20pm.its now 8:52 with a 1.5 hour ride home.

Our baby was born here. The delivery and skill of the nurses during the birthing and recovery process were amazing and qualified. However, the administration of this hospital is essentially at a third grade reading level. Their scheduling is abysmal, the day before a scheduled c-section they had the wrong doctor listed for the procedure, on the wrong date. now they confused our daughter with another child born on the same day and have possibly mixed up the insurance between the two children putting our child on Medicare.

The hospital called at 4:45pm with no explanation to schedule a ultrasound on her hips for the next day. At this point we had not been informed there was any concern to be had with the child's hips, the scheduling office has no information and tells us to "call the pediatrician" - no one will answer the phone as to why this ultrasound was requested.

Still no answers after the ultrasound has been performed. We're just sitting here wondering what could be wrong. It's amateur hour as it pertains to correspondence, scheduling, and paperwork. The foundation of any business is organization and the lack of concern on this matter is unsettling when you are dealing with the birth of a child and medical treatment.

Shout out to the nurses: On, Michelle, Krystal, Renee, Richarda, Lou, and Dr. Castleberry - as I mentioned they we phenomenal - the issue with this hospital lies in the administration.
