Our practice is dedicated to providing each patient with the highest quality individualized care and treatment for diseases of the skin, hair and nails. Since 1994, we have provided patients throughout Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio with the latest techniques to enhance and care for their skin and bodies.
Jill Fisher is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed by the state of Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Brain Behavior and Cognitive Science in 2012.
Dr. Desjarlais began his educational experience graduating from the University of Michigan Honors College with a BS degree in Biochemistry in 1984. After 3 years of research in the UM Department of Dermatology he then attended Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated medical school in 1991 and returned to the UM to complete a residency in Dermatology. Upon completion of his residency, he earned his board certification as a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD).

This medical team is great! They are prompt with making, honoring, and updating appointments. They are knowledgable and caring in all aspects of dermatology and they are concerned about their patient's overall health. They answered questions thoroughly and made the right diagnosis as well as providing the appropriate treatment. What more could someone want in a professional healthcare provider and the practice?

I wouldn't go anywhere else for tattoo removal. They have the best laser technology, the best technicians, are always friendly and personable, and take extra time to make sure all your questions are answered. Dr. Desjarlais spent time with me during my initial consultation and was very helpful - you don't find that level of 1:1 attention everywhere.
A huge benefit is also the fact that they use lidocaine for all of their tattoo removal appointments which is HUGE. Most places in Michigan don't do that, and I can't imagine having it done without it.

I have systemic lupus and my face was a disaster. I am an RRT and it was horrible having to face patients looking like a " freak". Dr. Desjarlais literally saved my self esteem and my life. I cannot say enough about him & his amazing staff. I am pain free and I look like the me before lupus. Thank you.

I made an appointment for my wife regarding a severe rash on her hands, Psoriasis. The quickest I could get her in was a month and a half out. The paper work the office gave me to fill out had the offices card but no time for the appointment. So the day prior to the appointment I called the office to confirm the time. The day of the appt we called to say we were about 5 min late and they informed me that we would have to reschedule because we were 15 min late. WTF!
They quoted me the wrong time and besides that there was nothing mentioning this "15 min" rule. They couldn't fit us in?!? Needless to say, just horrible business practice.

Dr Desjarlais is the best dermatologist in Lenawee County actually he's the only dermatologist in Lenawee County that I'm aware aware of. It takes 6 to 8 weeks to get in to see him he's that busy and that good. Getting my annual skin cancer check up since I'm out in the Sun a lot. I believe he does Botox and other stuff. Has ann arbor office as well.
