Salud lost a customer today. We have been taking our twin daughters to salud for almost three years. Let me start by saying we have had nothing but great experiences with Dr Betancourt and all of the nurses and other medical team members. This is strictly a review of the front office manager and staff. We had a check up today and called to check in as usual.

The front desk receptionist said she did not see us on the schedule. After some back and forth we were told our appointments were canceled due to a $3 and $12 unpaid balance on each account! She advised a message was sent to us on the portal reminding us of the payment in November. Now in all honesty we don't really check the portal. But what really got me mad was there was no phone call no letter no heads up your appointment is going to be canceled.

Just plain bad customer service. We recently moved out of the area and are now about 45 minutes away but really liked the Dr so we have stuck with them. At this point we basically had to beg to be seen by the doctor and agree to pay the balance beforehand which is very embarrassing for us. But we did get in and it will be our last time.

If you are looking for a Dr. that listens to your concerns this might not be the place for you. If you are looking for a place that checks off boxes and doesn't look at the big picture this might work for you. This office is very dismissive to parents questions and wont even have a conversation. If the box says it need to be check then they are checking that box.

If you're looking for a reassuring, professional, understanding pediatrician then come to this office and request Sarah. My little one and I ADORE her! She is top tier.

If a zero was possible they would get one! When our appointment was done we were in front making another appointment when i overheard the nurse practitioner refer to my daughter as "Dandruff kid" she was so embarrassed we will never return, it was so unprofessional. You never see a doctor only a nurse practitioner, everytime. But the true problem is the front desk staff they are rude and unprofessional they try real hard to not make appointments everytime i called i was given a different excuse never the same one ridiculous.

During this difficult times with Covid I couldn't be more pleased with the service and care provides to my son. This office is always able to get us seen in times of need. The office takes special time with their patiences and remembers what matters. Thank you so much for being more than just a trusted doctors. Please continued with your hard work and professionalism.

This office is more payment focus that patient. Though Dr. Joanne and NP Bocks are very nice, the office/receptionist/manager just don't care about their patients. I've been using this office for over 4 year. My kids annual physical was rescheduled just because the credit card on file expired July and I was never notified about it. I was even called a day before the appointment for COVID 19 screening but nothing about my credit card.

I have a good medical insurance and annual physical are fully covered yet this office will not attend to the kids. I was at work and a friend of mine took the kids to this appointment. They requested my friend to give the office another credit card. I called the office immediately to let them know that I am at work and do not have my credit card on me (I'm a nurse and my wallet is in my locker room).

I promise to give them a call back in 20/30minutes with my credit card information. I was told "no, you have to reschedule". I'm not sure if the color of my skin plays a role in this, but definitely looking for another Pediatrician.

We have been going to see Dr. Betancourt, NP Marci and team since for over 11 years. They are always so friendly, thorough and proactive. When I have a concern, I always feel heard and when I leave the appointment I feel confident that the best decision was made. My kids enjoy their appointments, even when they know they're getting a shot! The office is clean and organized and it's easy to get an appointment at the last minute. I would never consider another pediatrician for my children.

My daughters both receive care at Salud Pediatrics. The front office staff is very professional and accommodating. Facility is clean and we never wait long; once the girls are checked in. Marci is awesome with my kids. She's thorough, attentive and the follow up is amazing. Great place for kids!

I have been going to Salud since my oldest was born about 5 years ago. I LOVE Salud and recommend them to everyone. Dr. B is wonderful with kids (and concerned parents like me). When my oldest was born, she had a lot of concerns and Salud put my fears to ease. They explained every test, each result, and what the next step would be. When my daughter went into anaphylaxis shock due to an allergy, Dr. B called before office hours to check on us.

She walked me through all the following steps and although, I am sure she has hundreds of patients, I always feel like she truly cares about my family. I have had to call the emergency line a handful of times and whoever is on call always makes sure I understand what to do and that my kids are in good shape before I hand up. I can always get in the same day if someone is sick and never have to wait more than 15 min. for my appt. The office staff is wonderful and the ladies that have the terrible job of doing shots to my girls go as fast as they can. I highly recommend them!

Finding a great pediatrician was probably one of the biggest stressors for me during my pregnancy and becoming a first time mom, but now that we are approaching 12 months with Salud Pediatrics. I am SO glad that I did my research and found such a great practice. We have seen all the doctors in the office I'm pretty sure over the last 12 months and each one if amazing.

Their after hours on-call procedure is amazing and their response time quite literally saved my daughters life. If you have an emergency and need a same day appointment, they fit you in any way that they can. Their online portal is also really awesome, since I work full time I can't always go to all the doctors appointments (my husband and I switch off taking her), but they give you a full description of everything that was done and discussed at every appointment through their portal.

It makes me feel informed and up to date on everything with my daughters health, even if I can't be there to hear it in person. I cannot say enough good things about this place!
