He has been in Allergy/Asthma practice since 2010 following his Allergy training at Univ. of Tennessee and an Internal Medicine residency at Virginia's Commonwealth U in Richmond, VA. He is transferring his practice from his Crestwood and Washington, MO. locations to combine with us at our Tesson Ferry location. We love taking care of our patients. We want your visits and our care between visits to be as helpful and effective as possible, so we strive for excellence in our communications and attention to detail.

Our Allergy practice goes back to the 1970's with Dr. Don Strominger and later Dr. James Corry who in the early days saw general pediatric patients and children with cystic fibrosis. Over time the practice specialized in childhood asthma and allergies and eventually added adults patients to the mix.
We are a group of independent providers (doctors and nurse practitioners) with offices throughout the metro St. Louis/S.Illinois region. By being part of this larger group (Esse Health), we are able to invest in technology and finance important initiatives that enhance patient care and allows us to be more responsive to the changing needs of our healthcare industry.
We accept most commercial insurance plans, Medicare and Medicare Advantage/Complete, and Home State Medicaid in Missouri. Our billing is done through our parent company, Esse Health, with a central billing department at the main headquarters. Did the cluster shots with Dr Johnson, I used to get sick at least 4 times a year. I have been getting shots for over 2 years and what a difference it has made. Not getting sick at all now. I had really bad cat and dog allergies. I could only go in my friends house ( who has 3 dogs and a cat ) for 1 hr before I would start wheezing and not be able to breathe.
I just went and stayed at his place for 5 days and I was just fine. I couldn't believe it myself. I highly recommend to start getting the shots if you have allergies. It will be a life changing decision.

Everyone at Dr. Johnson's office is amazing. My son initially had a very difficult time getting his allergy injections. The entire staff has gone above and beyond to make sure that he is comfortable each time we visit. They know his interests and take the time to ask him questions about the things he loves. They make him feel special and he looks forward to telling them new things he has learned each time.

My two children have been patients of Dr. Johnson for several years. Dr. Johnson is incredible. He is kind and soft-spoken which was so important when my daughter was younger as she was very nervous about having allergy testing. Dr. Johnson is knowledgeable and listens to my concerns as a mother. My son is asthmatic and has severe allergies. I have no doubt because of Dr. Johnson's expertise that my son was able to play sports from elementary school through college. From the first phone call to the front desk to the nurses, you will love them and Dr. Johnson!
