I grew up in a small town in a hard working family, where I lived at home and worked in construction with my father to make my way through college. I know what it is like to be ill and not be able to get the care you need. When I became a physician I made a commitment to myself to build a service based practice to give my patients what they really need.

I was so fortunate to get into Dr. Blair's Family Clinic just as he was getting set up in his office here. he had only been here a couple of months when i heard someone speaking so highly of him. I needed a PCP so I made an appointment! It did not take long for this community to know how impressive he is as a physician, caring, so knowledgeable about even specialized chronic illnesses.
He is an asset t our community and the medical world. I HIGHLY recommend you seeing him if you are looking for a PCP/family physician. In many ways I feel he saved my life in dealing with some of my illnesses.

Dropped me and my son (12yrs old who hasn't been in his office for well over a year). He referred me to pain specialists and psychiatric offices. Which was great because I feel that if you cannot help me then you should refer me to someone who can. I never missed an appointment. I followed all instructions. I came in once every 3 months to check my labs.
But I got a letter in the mail dropping me and my son for no obvious reason. The letter was worded "due to the fact we cannot satisfactorily meet your needs". But he kept the other 3 members of my family? When I did see him I would have to sit there and listen to him jabber on before he would shut up for a mere second so that I could tell him what my problem was.
When you are trying to teach someone something you need to judge your audience. Don't dumb it down. I"m a nurse.and he knew that. I want facts and someone to listen to me. I only saw him every 3 months to check labs. But I'm a difficult patient and got dropped LOL? Don't waste your time with this small minded and small town "doctor".

I was waiting for WELL OVER AN HOUR (1hr and 26 minutes to be accurate) only to be told i will NO LONGER be PRESCRIBED the same medicine I've been placed on for over a year by this office because it interacted with another one i was placed by a weight loss physician i was recommended to seek out for weight loss BY THIS OFFICES PHYSICIANS. Even after i had stopped the other medication for weight loss under advise from dr.blairs office and they still choose to longer keep me on the medication i needed and was not offered Any other options.
Just a plain and simple NO, even though they are the ones who told me to seek out weight loss help because they aren't going to help and then a by the way since you did as instructed by the dr were also are not going to treat your other issues. Really?, a confusing situation and office not very helpful when you have 2 physicians treating you in the same office who appear no to communicate on a shared patient.
If you didn't want me to seek out help for weight loss then why tell me look around elsewhere?. At least tell me before that I can treat one problem at a time not both, Because in the end i did fallow the Drs institutions and now I'm being treated for EITHER of my problems
