The Kaleidoscope Kids team looks forward to treating your kids! We walk into our Crandall, TX, pediatric clinic each day, excited to see the beautiful faces of our patients. Even when they don't feel well, or are a little crabby because they don't want to see us, we want to see them! Dr. Byington is a Texas native and a graduate of North Mesquite High School.
At Kaleidoscope Kids, we treat patients from Crandall, TX, and the surrounding areas. Our practitioners are specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood diseases and disorders. Whether your child is in for a wellness visit or is feeling unwell, you can rest assured that we will listen, examine, diagnose, and treat your child with the care you expect and deserve. If your child needs an annual physical, please call four weeks in advance to obtain an appointment on your preferred date and time.
Children require wellness examinations to check growth, ensure they are reaching developmental milestones, and to evaluate for early signs of disorders or delays. These visits are also when your children receive vaccines. Parents may use these visits to ask any questions or express concerns. For older children and teens, wellness checks can include sports physicals, lab work, vaccines, and discussion of more sensitive topics.

Highly highly recommend Dr. Byington and her team! We have a preemie that just got out of the NICU and she has gone above and beyond to make sure all of our questions are answered in detail. Being a first time parent she has put our mind at ease. She takes her time and not only takes awesome care of our son, she takes care of us and our worries as well! Can't recommend Kaleidoscope kids enough!

Dr. Byington has been such a positive aspect in me and my children's lives! Every question I had about children, she had answer! My children are non verbal and for so long I've been struggling to find a good doctor that can get me the help my children need! I live in the Dallas area and she is definitely worth the drive! The nurses and staff are amazing, they definitely deserve way more than 5 stars! I highly recommend this place for your kids

I really thought this facility cared about my children up until my family started to face hard times due to covid. My insurance covers my children's medical at 100%, the office admitted they knew this but when I refused to leave them my card information for a missed appointment fee of 80 $ suddenly and without warning. They were required to charge 40 for my first visit missed.
I was unaware of the fees and they never billed me for it. When I missed my second one I didn't realize I had missed it. Either way, I told them when my husband had work again and when that money wasn't required to put food in my children's mouths they would have it but my daughter needed her vaccine especially in the midst of a pandemic. They refused my newborn daughter her vaccines. even though they knew they would get paid for it.
Not only that, they shamed me by forcing me to talk about our families financial situation in the main lobby with others in the room, refused to let me speak to a manager or billing. Just know. you take your kids here they only see a dollar sign above their head and nothing more. Then ask yourself. how good of care are they really going to receive if they only care about money. what will they suggest your child take if they only want money.

My kids have been to 4 different pediatric clinics in their lifetime due to insurance changes and this office is THE BEST! Not only do they see you quickly (I've never had to wait more than 10 mins), but the staff is incredibly sweet, and the nurses are attentive! Dr. Methvin is who my kids see and she is so detailed and cares so much about their health history and is never in a rush to get us out. I recommend 100%

We have been using kaleidoscope kids & seeing Dr. Byington & Jennifer for years & will continue until both boys can't go anymore. They are amazing, never in a rush they take there time in the room with you & there staff is absolutely WONDERFUL! 100% recommend going to them for your pediatrician 5 stars all the way!
