Dr. Ehrhardt completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and her ophthalmology residency at Parkland hospital which is located on the campus of the University of Texas Southwest Medical Center. She received her certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1990.
Dr. Lippas is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of those with diseases of the retina at Sweeney Eye Associates. Dr. Lippas received his Bachelor's of Science degree from Texas A&M in 1979. He obtained his Medical Degree from the UT Health Science Center at Houston in 1983.
Dr. Vince Venincasa was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami and continued his training at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He then moved to Oklahoma City and trained at the Dean McGee Eye Institute and was elected the chief resident during his final year and inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.

Dr Sweeney's office was sad! The staff doesn't wear their masks continuously coughing over documents and swiping their noses. One front desk clerk discussed a mans billing history with her coworkers out loud while he sat in the waiting room How embarrassing! The tech Kelly was extremely unprofessional when I informed her I would stay next to my mom due to her aphasia and trouble communicating.
She rolled her eyes! My mom got flustered due to Kelly's tone and was unable to follow her instructions which made Kelly more irritable. Finally they sent another tech Beatrice who was patient and kind and handle my mom with care! But No matter where I turned the staff had their mask off and violated 6 feet. One young male doctor ignored a patient attempting to hand him paperwork as he passed he simply put his hands in his vest pocket and Said she pointing to a tech will get it and walked off completely rude and the way the treat the elderly is disgusting

In my first visit with Dr. Vincent Venincasa, he showed a high confidence in his assessment of my problem. When he gave me the Lasik surgery, he again showed confidence in his procedure and I could see he was happy that it went well. It did go well and I was able to see clearly immediately. My eye has a permanent blind spot after the doctor installed a lens. It is where the incision was made there is a black line to the left of my left eye. It has been 3 months now since the surgery and the doctor says it's common to have this blind spot which may or may not go away. He says there is nothing he can do about it. The blind spot has been the same since the patch came off and I don't feel like it's going away. Very sad situation.

Staff and testing was excellent. Dr. Sweeney explained results of tests, but when I mentioned all I wanted was what Medicare paid for, it was like he was finished talking. Also, same with the financial scheduler. He immediately got up opened the door and out I went into the BRIGHT LIGHT, shades were not offered. I had to go back in the front office to get some shades. They should have given me a pair before I got to the financial scheduler.

No one else I'd trust to perform LASIK other than Dr. Sweeney! The entire staff, both at Sweeney Eye and the Dallas Laser Center, treated me with the utmost hospitality. At each appointment, Dr. Sweeney answered all my questions thoroughly and left me feeling confident about going into surgery. I was entirely impressed with the results and so happy to have gone through with this. I cannot recommend him and his team enough, I only wish I had gotten this sooner!
