Drug addiction is a complex illness which requires care and medical drug addiction treatments for those suffering from chemical dependency and substance abuse. It is characterized by compulsive, at times uncontrollable drug craving, seeking, and use that persist even in the face of extremely negative consequences.

STD - The Dallas County Health Department is offering screening for sexually transmitted diseases. The fee is $25. HIV - A member of the HEI department from the Greater Dallas Counsel on Alcohol and Drug Abuse is here to offer free HIV testing almost every Friday. The test is called "OraQuick Advance". The test is based on saliva and you get your results in 20 minutes and is 99% accurate. All you do is come in and asked to be tested.
People figure out they are not in control of the substance they are using in just a few months but it may take up to three years before they seek treatment. It's not just one symptom. When we are experiencing the anxiety we may also feel that awful sense of shame and vulnerability. Some folks call it "romancing the the past" when we are euphorically recalling our previous experiences with substance use, abuse, and dependence.
If you answer "No" to the first two addiction self assessment questions, chances are you are not chemically dependent. If you answered "Yes" to any of the other questions it is recommended that you get a professional addiction assessment for possible substance abuse or drug addiction problem. The results of this self assessment are not conclusive; these are only indicators.

This information provided is intended to aid the clinician with information of drugs that could affect a drug test. New drugs are constantly being prepared, prescribed, or abused by means of taking more then the recommended amount. This can alter how samples react while being tested.

If i could give this place no stars i would. We have been trying to get into this office foe months we scheduled a appt but unfortunately had to cancel due to funds bc of the pandemic then we scheduled a second time when we had the funds and they cancelled our appt. Now we have a agency will to assist us finical and they will not accept us bc we had previously cancelled a appt. But they care about helping people psssh this place is a joke

This is by far the best addiction clinic in the dfw metro. They care and are always available. This place has saved my life and im happy to say that i have not used since 2011. If you want to be helped they will be there for you. Dr. McDaniel and Rick are amazing people I actually love them for what they do.

Anybody who thinks this establishment is sub-standard in any way has clearly never dealt with any of the other facilities here in Dallas! Dr. McDaniels is a literal lifesaver and is in the office most days where other clinics hire a doc to come once a week for half an hour at 5:00 a.m.! I have the unfortunate experience of having attended all but one of the clinics in Dallas and AALC is head and shoulders above her "competition" in town. If you need the help, they understand and are actually sympathetic to your needs.

Great people, counseling, and a very nice caring medical doctor. They are different from many of the past centers that I have come across. As far as I know it without insurance, so it's on a cash/credit basis as I understand. They want you to keep you on track if it's mdone or bup. I found out about it online and called before I transferred from Southern California.
Over a year ago I reviewed this place and now I am re editing my post. 4 treatment. It would be 5, but then they would need to have express services. Granted my last methadone clinic of Fashion Valley Clinic ( CRC ), they were 2.5 stars
