I was very disappointed today. I had booked an appointment at 815 am with dr Salini patori today. I arrived on time for the appointment. I waited for almost 45 minutes but doctor did not show up. This is very disgraceful. My precious time was wasted due to such behavior. I was not able to give zero star otherwise I wouldn't even have given one star.

I have been coming to this drs office for my thyroid underacting. During my last visit the PA kept talking to me and referencing diabetes and such. I don't have diabetes.just because I am obese does not mean I have diabetes. If you spent to seconds looking at my chart you would see that I am at this office for my thyroid. I will be getting a new specialist. Everytime I see the Dr she sees me for two seconds, talks to the nurse or PA and nothing to me.the worse case of bed side manner I have ever received.

I've been with them for two years already and every time I have a question the staff never answers their calls. They rescheduled me because my doctor was going to be out, so I agreed to reschedule but they didn't take into account that by the rescheduled date, I would've ran out of medication. I called almost a week in advance but they never answered, left voicemails and never got a call back.
I finally got through and they assured me they were going to call back the next day because they needed to speak to my doctor, so I waited. I called back two days later because I really needed the medication and I wasn't getting a call back from them. I told them I was going to run out of medicine during the weekend (which they are closed). The weekend passed and I ran out of medicine, I started making calls to all pharmacies in my area, none of them carried my medicine. Luckily there was a pharmacy nearby that had two pills available costing me 1/3 of the price of a 30 day pill pack.
The office was going to be closed for two days for the holidays so I kept calling them before because it's urgent for me to have my medication because I had a total thyroidectomy when I was little, so I don't have any kind of thyroid hormones producing. It's been 3 days since I drank my thyroid medication and I just got a call back from them this morning telling me to go in to grab samples.
I paid more for two days worth of medicine because of the offices fault, just for them to tell me a week later that they have samples in the office. The lack of communication in this office if ridiculous. My doctor is amazing, she's quick and gets straight to the point but other than that, the people working the phones don't care.

So although I have never been here, I will go ahead and give it 1 star because I have been rescheduled now two times, both times having to completely rearrange my work schedule. Reschedule me once? Fine. Doctor had a personal emergency, I understand. Of course the only time open was in 2 weeks, so i take the time and stay optimistic. Here they are calling me again, AFTER they already did an appt confirmation and are saying i need to get rescheduled again. Oh, but this time, nothing open until another 2 weeks.
So clearly whatever is happening in my body can be delayed 1-2 months no problem without an alternative solution for me. This is just bad business practice and on top of that, getting a hold of them is impossible. call 7 times to get them to pick up.

Many problems with follow through at this office. Been seeing Dr Gangi for almost 2 years with visits every 3 months. Any time I need an RX filled or sent, there's always a problem that takes a very long time to resolve - easy resolutions, just getting correspondence and correct info is difficult. Recently, I've called 4 or 5 times and left messages or expected a call back in the last 6 weeks to get RX problems figured out and schedule labs for an appointment - NO one calls back. Really need an office manager to audit all processes and maybe let some people go. sorry to say

Dr Guttikonda is an exceptional doctor. The staff is the reason for 1 star rating. No calls are answered - you must leave a message. The office does NOT call back! After several days of calls and no response from any staff for 2 weeks - we had to DRIVE to the office, go in, and speak to the staff at the counter to get the prescriptions refilled! The initial appointment sent us to an office our doctor doesn't even work out of. The doctors are great - the staff will drive you away to another practice.

Was recommended here by my health provider and it has been nothing but bad experience. I spent 1 whole month with no medication because the staff did not call my pharmacy with my prescription. I wasted 2 trips to get my blood drawn only to find out that they did a regular blood test and did not test me for my condition. Wasted days from work and time to see a doctor's office who has little to no interest in my health. Feeling like I've been getting the run around for my insurance money. Will be looking somewhere else for treatment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Literally the worst doctor's office I have ever been to. 1st appointment: The facilities are filthy. Dirt caked on the floor, nurse told me not to take my shoes off for my weigh-in, dirty. I ended up liking Dr. Gangi, despite the office. She increases my dosage, took my blood to test my cortisol levels, and told me to come back in 3 months to see her again.
I call back multiple time to get my results over 2 months, when i finally manage to talk to someone in the office they tell me to keep waiting. 2nd appointment (3 months later): Dr had told me she would prescribe me some diet pills after 3 months on the thyroid stuff, but I get there and Gary the assistant/whatever tells me I will only be seeing him to check in.
I had to take a 3 hour lunch break to "check in" and pay for a visit I didn't need. I ask about which vitamin Dr. told me last time I should take for energy because I couldn't remember (it was vitamin B-12.) He gives me some sample boxes for some kind of diabetic food in pill form instead. I have no idea how you get those two things confused, and I'm not diabetic.
I ask him about the cortisol, he tells me those things take time sometimes and that I should keep waiting. Then he notes that even with a 3x increase in my meds, I have still gained weight, and sends me on my merry way. A few weeks later I call back again for results (over a period of days, because I can never reach anyone on the phone) and finally someone calls me back and says that my cortisol test WAS NEVER SENT to the lab because THEY LOST MY RESULTS. 3rd Appointment: I get a confirmation call for Dr. Gangi 20 mins before the appointment, literally as I am driving there.
The office girl calls me up to the window and tells me that Dr. Gangi never comes in on Wednesdays and I'm meeting with someone else. I pull up on my phone the email I have that says Dr. Gangi, she continues to be rude, like it's my fault. I sit down to wait again. 45 minutes of waiting total and I just get up and tell them I'm leaving and that I will find another doctor.
Between the drive time, the inconsistencies, the loosing my labwork, and lack of availability of the office staff and doctor, it was beyond wasting my time. Go to one of the Baylor doctors instead so your records are uploaded into a shared system AND you can email the doctors directly instead of dealing with office staff that hasn't got a clue.
