Dr. George Anterasian graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude as an undergraduate from UCLA and is an Alpha Omega Alpha honors graduate of the UCLA School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of California in San Diego, and he is board certified in the medical, surgical, and cosmetic treatment of conditions involving the face, head, and neck.

I can't rate Dr Amerian highly enough! I was somewhat nervous to see a dermatologist as I knew I had a lot of sun damage due to many years in the sun and often neglecting my skin, by often using little or no protection. My concern was having not had a check up for over 10 years, what else she might find. The only reason I decided to go at this time, was because I'd had this very dark spot on my arm and was concerned it might be a melanoma.
As soon as I walked into her lovely office, which was extremely nice, I automatically had a good feeling and felt confident, I'd made the right choice! Dr Amerian made me feel so at ease knowing I was anxious. She was understanding, caring and above all so extremely Knowledgeable and efficient. She did a full thorough body check. I then had to have some biopsies and a cyst removed.with her brother Dr George Anterasian who also, i can't rate highly enough. Fortunately it wasn't a melanoma!
His assistant Amanda and Dr Amerians assistant and everyone at reception were wonderful and so friendly. I had to take the time to write this review as I feel truly blessed to have both Dr Amerian and George Anterasian as my doctors. I intend to now have regular check ups every 6 months and Start taking more care of my skin. Although I was extremely anxious both Dr American and Dr Anterasian made this experience so much easier for me. I only wish there more doctors like them!

Dr. Amerian has been my dermatologist for over 25 years! I would not let anybody else in this city or any other city touch my face. She's that good! Dr. Mary shares her office with her brother, Dr. George (also a dermatologist) who is equally amazing. You can't go wrong with either one of them. They are extremely skilled doctors who really care about your skin and will not do anything if they don't think you need it- medical or cosmetic. I've had skin damage and when either Dr.
A or Dr. G have removed anything, there has never been a scar. This is a one stop practice that has it all. You can get the best facial that is tailored to your skin by their wonderful aesthetician, Jonee who is a miracle worker and makes me feel and look like a million bucks. She has also been with Dr. A for as long as I've been a patient. There is also a woman who does laser hair removal.
The staff is incredible and what is really telling is that the entire staff have been working here for years and years. They are so sweet. Honestly, coming to this practice is a joy!

I see Dr. George approximately twice a year for Fraxel Laser and filler on my face. Each time I visit his office, I am always amazed by the results, which manage to decrease my age by years and provide me with a natural, refreshed look. Sounds like a commercial, I know, but results are the bottom line and I wouldn't keep going back if the results did not meet/oftentimes exceed my expectations.
I do very few reviews and only for those people I trust and who deliver results in a positive environment. While results are primary, the process is always such a pleasure. Dr. George is warm, gentle, professional and thoughtful. He spends a great deal of time studying my face and answering my questions. Meticulous throughout the processes, he demonstrates not only precision, but true artistry. And he also has a nice sense of humor! In any case, I always know I am in the best of hands when I am there.

I have know Dr, Amerian for over 20 years. She is extremely thorough in her mole check and proactive in prevention. I have seen her Facialist Joni for years and can not recommend her enough. Since I started with her in my 30s I get comments on my skin in my 40s. They are caring, wonderful, smart, experienced and professional. The office is well organized and the office staff is beyond friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a dermatologist or cosmetic dermatologist you can trust Dr. Amerian and her brother Dr. George. He too is calm and caring.

I had a very dark and stubborn age spot on my cheek and Dr. George worked some magic and it's gone. So grateful! I did a LOT of research on the many types of lasers, how they work and which ones work best for sun damage bc there are so many different lasers and i didn't want to waste my time (or $) getting the wrong laser treatment. I chose Santa Monica Laser and Skincare Dermatology Center because they have the best (and most) lasers. And good thing because it took a couple of different lasers to remove the pigmentation. But I am SO pleased with the results. Thank you Dr. George!

Dr. Mary Lee Amerian and Dr. George are my absolute favorite doctors that I've ever known. Dr. Amerian has been my doctor for so many years and she always has fixed my problem or concern with tenderness and empathy - and most of all - solutions! They have saved me from so many concerns and allergic reactions over the years, and I always felt like they actually cared for me as a person and not just a patient.
I cannot say enough about this wonderful medical practice. They deserve only the best accolades -- and their staffs are professional and knowledgeable. It does not get any better than this.

Dr. Mary Lee American saw me for an embarrassing and unsightly dermatitis face rash. I am a performer under lights with cameras and makeup so it was very stressful. She first off is drop dead gorgeous! Secondly SO NICE! I immediately felt safe and comfortable she assured me I would be fixed up in no time--and sure enough I was! She got me on a miracle cream and gentle face product line that within a week of use I was much better from using. For ANY skin need I am confident her expertise and sensitivity gets the job done far exceeding any industry standard! Consider yourself lucky if she is your doctor

Let's see, . I have been A patient of Dr. Amerian's for about 20 years. During that time I have never had a problem getting into see her she seems like she's always available. She is always kind and is probably the best dermatologist in Los Angeles. I was lucky to find her and my skin has benefited from her practice.

Dr. Amerian is a total pro; she has a wonderfully positive energy and is extremely knowledgable and efficient. Based on my visits the adage "you get what you pay for" definitely applies at her office- it is not cheap, and you get a very high quality patient experience for your money. She has also been great about trying to find the most cost effective ways to address my needs, as I'm currently on an interim insurance plan that doesn't cover general prescriptions and check-ups.
I won this month's "healthy skin giveaway" and received a complimentary facial with her in-house aesthetician Joanie, who is also amazing at what she does. She exudes a lovely, warm energy and went for it with the extractions, leaving my skin deeply cleansed, refreshed and smooth. One of the most enjoyable, effective facial treatments I've ever had. I'll be saving up for my next one!

Dr. Amerian and her nurses are all personable & great at what they do, however, I will not return because of the ill-tempered, Caucasian secretary. Felt very uncomfortable and disrespected after waiting over 40 minutes for my appointment, only told to be told the Dr. was busy and probably could not see me. After asking what I should do, she looked at me blankly and shrugged her shoulders. Said employee did not ONCE apologize for the huge inconvenience, express any sort of sympathy, or offer to pay for hefty parking fees accrued in wasting my time. The lack of professionalism she displayed was upsetting & I'm honestly saddened in the experience.a simple apology would have sufficed.

Well this is my first review ever. The only reason I am writing a review is coz Dr. Mary Lee and Dr. George anterasian has changed my life! Prior to them I have been to every reputed dermatologist in Beverly Hills spent $$$$ but none of them could help me. I was suffering from adult acne! Dr. Mary Lee is very sweet n knew exactly how to treat me in less than a month I had no acne on my face! Dr. George is excellent n helped to clear my old acne scars! I trust them 100% n now I go to them every 3 months as my regular dermatologists. I would never go to anybody else!

Let me start by telling you that I have struggled with acne for at least 15 years now. I have tried every lotion, potion, medication. Nothing worked. Past doctors have always given me antibiotics that just hurt my stomach and weakened my immune system. After years of disappointment my friend recommended I give it one more shot with a new doctor. I agreed but before even making an appointment I decided I would write Dr. Amerian Lee a letter with my history, thoughts and concerns.
She responded promptly and I made an appointment the next day. When I arrived the entire staff was lovely- a fresh breath of air. They treated me with kindness and attentiveness. When I went in to meet the doctor she remembered who I was and listened to my concerns. We came up with a plan and it worked! Dr. Amerian Lee is a great doctor because aside from her extensive knowledge in medicine she also treats her patients like human beings.
She truly cares and truly listens. She is the first Dermatologist that was able to take me off antibiotics and put me on a more suitable medication. I am taking spironolactone for acne and it is working. Aside from the medication her products are great. She did not try to sell me on any of them. In fact gave me samples because she knew I was on a budget. This is a doctor that cares. I highly recommend her she is an expert in her field, beautiful and kind!

BEST IN LOS ANGELES! Dr. Mary Lee Amerian is the sweetest lady! She is the first dermatologist I met in Los Angeles who really cares about your skin problems. I've been to two other "celebrity" dermatologists before and yes they were as expensive (perhaps more expensive than Mary Lee) and NO they did not help my acne problem. To be honest with you, I don't care how expensive she is.my skin is SO important and what she did for me is worth every single penny!
From the ladies who work at the fronts desk to the Dr. herself, everybody was super sweet and helpful. Dr. Amerian is very professional and thorough. Everybody has their own experience obviously and I don't like advertising someone or someplace here on yelp but all I want to say here is that I've really been to famous dermatologist before and never ever got a good result about my skin problems.
The topical treatments and creams dr. Mary Lee prescribed were the only ones worked for me! My skins clear and looks amazing and that makes me HAPPY:) Have a wonderful day and beautiful skin everyone. S.
