San Luis Obispo Eye Associates

This was my annual appointment and it is one year after my cataract surgery. As usual, everyone was helpful and polite. My checkup was positive and I'm very happy about that. Last year I deducted one star because of the usual 30 minute wait in the waiting room. This year the wait was less than 10 minutes - I really appreciated that. I really appreciate the care I get here from the staff and, of course, my doctor. Great job. Oh, I should mention, the surgery was very successful and I can see better than ever - no glasses for distance and readers for close up.

Moved here 4 months ago and got established with them after a recommendation from a coworker. Professional in every sense of the word, efficient, modern office. Only reason for not giving them a fifth star: masks. Despite the mask mandates being lifted, they continue to not only make it mandatory to even enter their office but they are absolutely dictatorial in their enforcement from the moment you step in the door. Not the place for me to spend my money. Adios!

Dr. Chowins provided a very good explanation of my current state of sight issues and when they need to be addressed. I felt very comfortable with his level of knowledge and willingness to address my questions. I recommend his services.

Covid protocols were enforced, front desk very professional and was checked in quickly. I was immediately taken to the exam room and medical assistant was thorough. Dr. Bostic arrived quickly and was attentive to my concerns. I was in and out in a timely manner and highly recommend San Luis Obispo Eye Associates

Professionalism, expertise, and compassion all at one location. The front office did all it could to ensure insurance coverage and a timely appointment. The attending physician was precise, informative, and, as he was taking over my case from another Dr. in the practice, a quick study. I chose the optometrist in the office who was exacting, and knowledgeable in my specific needs for lens.

I am a glaucoma patient that had concerns about his eye pressure. My son made an appointment with San Luis. Eye.who saw me on a rush basis in one day. I live out of State. They saw me immediately and reviewed my history checked my eyes and pressures. Very professional very patient driven. Their care was excellent and reassuring. I would rate them at A+

My second visit was much better than the first one! Cassie handled the first part of the exam before passing me off to Dr G. Both Dr. G and his assistant were very nice and welcoming. I look forward to seeing them again next year!

I recently had cataracts removed. The office staff here are attentive and professional. I never waited more than a few minutes for my appointments. Dr. Basich is excellent. He explained the process to me very well, was confident I would be pleased with the results, and I couldn't be happier with my vision.
