Ashlynn (?) the phlebotomist was polite, fast, and efficient. The other lab person needs customer service classes or better coffee in the morning. She couldn't be bothered with polite greetings. I hadn't been here in over a year and hoped it was better. Nope. Next time I'll skip the convenience of an appointment and go back to the drop in with good customer service.

Read the reviews by others - this place is a disaster! Best thing you can do is sent a link of this Yelp page to your ignorant primary care physician that told you to go here. Let your doctor know this is a TERRIBLE place to do business and here are the reviews to prove it. Here's what you are looking at if you choose to give Westpac Labs your body: 1. Can't do a walk in appointment. 2.
Have to use a difficult online sign-in to make an appointment. 3. Inability to speak with anyone at the location by phone. 4. Inability to notate any special needs associated with the visit. 5. Rude and entitled customer service by the main branch that picks up the phone for all the branches. Common America. We're better than this. We have no choice but to receive AWFUL treatment on every airline, but WE DO have a choice when it comes to a simple blood-draw lab.

First visit - Walk Ins Welcomed - NOT But at least I was given a flyer to make an appointment. 2nd visit - Claimed no paperwork was faxed by doctor's office but they gave me an appointment - okay. 3rd visit - I'm scolded for not arriving 15 minutes. Then as I hand over my paperwork to someone who appears to be training ( on how to be obnoxious to customers?) and ask a question I am told she can only do one thing at a time.
Must be nice. I get some more snarky remarks but another appt is made - so I can fast yet another time and see these rude people. If your insurance allows it, go somewhere else because this place sucks.

I'd recommend using a different lab if your insurance allows it or it is feasible. Expect rude customer service, and managers that seem to condone bad behavior. I have been here a couple of times with early morning appointments, and the front desk staff is acting like they are the ones fasting instead of me. I've experienced lost records, conflicting instructions for appointments, and overall rudeness that is uncalled for. I don't understand why organizations hire & promote staff that hate their jobs, and clearly let it permeate their demeanor at work.

Staff was very rude to our doctor office and our staff. Claimed to never get the forms when they confirmed with us a few days prior. Front office staff her name was Suzanne she was rude and continued to argue with my doctor when he was there to get labs done. I do not recommend I would much rather go to Paso Robles or morro bay for it.

Well I already think masks are dumb, but if you are going to force me to wear it you should provide them. Thankfully the blood work I needed wasn't urgent but if it was I would have lost my shit and had been furious. I just think it's so inconsiderate and not caring for your patients. So disappointing.

I walked in and asked how long the wait was and I was handed a sheet of paper and told "you can make an appointment online of call this #". So i get I to my car and call the number and the woman who answered was EXTREMELY rude. She asked me why I am calling to make an appointment, it's done online. So I let her know that the location I was just at said I could make an appointment online ORRRRR call the #. So that's i told her that's what i was doing. She hung up on me, rude.

Called first so I wouldn't have a long wait like I did last time I used this lab. I was told there were only 3 waiting so arrived in less than 10 minutes and there were more than a dozen people waiting. I checked in and asked if they would check to be sure they received the referral from my Dr. and they said they would do that when it was my turn.
Exactly an hour and a half later I was told they were closed and they they did not have the referral. I stepped outside and called my Dr. and was assured the referral had been faxed but they offered to fax another. I want to the door and no one would respond. I will never use this lab again! Here we are in the midst of a pandemic and they couldn't check our referrals before making us wait in a crowded room for close to two hours!

So, where to begin? We walked in and immediately behind the reception desk there's a group of young females (about 6) sitting in a circle talking about what, who knows because they all get quite and look at us walking in. Then when the reception greeted my wife she did so with no smile and dry. The other "nurse" who then called her back had the same attitude of being annoyed that she has to do her job.
As I'm waiting in the waiting area the girls begin to talk about their friend getting married and the bride dressing with the same colors as the groomsmen. Then some gossip about what guys are cute and talking about other friends boyfriend's or brothers and how cute they are. Crazy, I can assume they can be in the back cleaning or something instead of sitting in a circle like they're around a damn fire talking about their bullsh@#

I have been here twice very recently and both times they were busy, but fast efficient and friendly. It would be nice if they would have more instructions for people who first walk in and haven't been for awhile so they would know to go directly to the computerized screen to input their name and reason for visit prior to talking to receptionist.
It is not completely clear, and I saw many people confused as they were initially walking in. The phlebotomists were friendly and engaging and made the process painless and quick. The office appears clean and has a lot of natural light.

About a year ago I had to get my blood drawn, so I came to this location early morning. A young male was the one to draw my blood, but before that he was asking me questions, very unclear questions where I felt like I had to follow up the the questions because he was making zero sense, and seemed lazy with his words. He got frustrated, my mom and I were both uncomfortable because well for one it's not my job as the patient to be the was to ask clearer questions.
He needs to work on communication. And how to word his questions better. Another complaint is I'm pretty sure he poked my arm like an a** because my arm felt completely weird for the next weeks and while working out my arm would continue to feel weird. Now my arm is fine, I have gotten my blood drawn another place and my arm didn't feel weird afterwards. I will say maybe he had an attitude problem because it was the morning? I'm not sure, but hopefully there has been improvement.

The girls that work there seem very nice! But they are extremely slow. even though they have a whole waiting room full of people, you will see 1 phlebotomist working while the other 2 are standing around talking. (about their children, what's for dinner, grocery shopping Etc) it's not the first time this has happened. Just gets frustrating! When you have a monthly order be prepared to spend an hour to an hour and a half to get your blood drawn! And there's only 4 to 6 people ahead of you?
