Exceptionally great care from surgery, inpatient care, mamogram dept, urgent care--all awesome. It's nice to have a local hospital to count on.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Valley Regional has exceeded all expectations in my mind. I have received service in Women's Health, Same Day Surgery, and the Emergency Room and every single person I have come in contact with has been absolutely incredible. I have sung your praises and will continue to! Thank you.

Good doctors they where all nice but when you get In it takes a while to get out, it took me 3-4 hours to leave after I came in for a common skin infection

Thank you for taking such good care of my brother. I honestly did not think he would survive. Doctors, nurses, therapist are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and hard working.

I was a patient of the Med/surge floor on numerous occasions to receive infusions of a high risk medication that was supposed to be supervised/done by nurses to be safer. While a handful of the nurses were excellent (Adam and Bob in particular) many of them were acting very negligently and their supervisor did not intervene. Many nurses in this unit were not wearing masks pre-vaccine during the mandate.

They were not following proper sterile central line procedures; they were routinely dropping supplies on the hospital floor and trying to continue using them along with skipping mandatory safety steps like wiping down hubs with alcohol, etc. They made serious medical errors with my infusions on several occasions; mixed it with contraindicated fluids, kept changing the rate each time and didn't use pre-meds half the time.

On one occasion a nurse infused a 6 hour infusion in less than one hour because she didn't know how to program the IV pump, was unfamiliar with the medication and was unsupervised. This was highly dangerous with the medication I was receiving. The hospital pharmacist told this department several times to not increase the rate even slightly let alone 6x too fast.

I had a major reaction to it and reported it to her supervisor the following day. Another nurse in a different department also reported the incident as it was blatant medical error. The hospital administration and the nursing supervisor did nothing; not even an apology or an attempt.to arrange that someone competent in infusions would be there in the future so it wouldn't continue happening.

I had to discontinue my treatment at Valley Regional because it was completely unsafe at nearly every infusion. Patients should not be subjected to medication overdoses and infection risks due to carelessness of "certain" nurses. Nor should the reputation of the responsible ones be affected by the actions of the negligent. If these types of things are being reported by patients the nursing supervisors and hospital administrators need to act. The prescribing doctor's office was horrified that these types of errors were routinely occurring and their infusion orders were almost never being followed correctly.

I had a wonderful experience with all my surgery's there! The same day surgery people are awesome and very friendly. The nurse who was looking after me her name is stacy. Wonderful lady. And the guy who gave me the arm blockers did an amazing job.

This hospital refused to assist myself and my friend afnd her 15 y.o. daughter who was in crisis and making suicidal statements to us as well as being agres*/sive toward us while we were trying to get z 9while driving her to hospit5al. This occurred on 7/26/20 at 1:30am. Problem 99.99 99.99 8th are 8 tt I have never experzhrienc!6_ed this kind of denial of services at a hospital.

The Newport P.D. actually escforted 7us to the town., line of Claremont N.H. as they suggested Valley Regional hospital claiming that they handled these types of situations. Thank goodness this turned out ok. We could have ended up with serious consequences.

I had complete knee replacement on June 18. The staff took good care of me. The staff was kind and gentle. I had a lot of pain the first two days and was taken care off with there sweet care. But there are two people that stand out to me. When I was crying there was a LPN that calmed me down by hugging me and rubbing my back. She means so much to me now, she is family.

Her name is LPN Kim. The next staff member is a RN Adam, he made me laugh everyday with Harry Potter quotes. Switch and flick, and winguardium levels. They both should be recognized for what they did. THANK YOU KIM ADAM.

Claremont N.H location is the absolute worst. Wife had our 3 year old in because he was complaining about his arm hurting. We couldn't even touch it. The wait was 3.5 hours in the waiting room. Went in at 3pm and was sent to Dartmouth around 10pm. Valley regional said he needed a shoulder tap because he had an infection in it and then said there are 2 types of infection one not bad and one very serious.

Not sure why an ER can't do a shoulder tap or any tap for that matter. How can this place stay open if they don't have the resources to do their jobs? Anyway, at 8:30 the next morning I heard from my wife and Dartmouth doesn't think it's an infection. They say it's just that his cold has settled in his shoulder and to try to get him moving it. Why couldn't Valley regional get this information instead of sending my 3 year old over 40 miles away just because of a cold? Do doctors even need to pass any kind of test to become a doctor these days? Very sad. They definitely live up to the Death Valley name.

I have been to both ER and Urgent Care at VRH over the past three years. I have always had prompt and courteous care at both facilities. The only thing I have to complain is that people use both of these places for non-emergency care. I.e. the urgent care is for just that. Not snotty nose kids that could very well see there PCP. Urgent means just that.

I have had urgent issues and got more than prompt care. Everyone, should be aware of their health issues, and be smart about them, before they do become urgent. Yes, by all means, if you have an URGENT issue, please do go to the UC at VRH. Someone ahead of you, and you have to wait, it could very well there are super urgencies already being seen.

There's a reason it's called Death Valley. You will die before you get out! Avoid the Emergency Room! I love their Physical Therapy! The girls and of course Andrew are very sweet. Urgent care is fast and effective.

I have been to valley to EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT at least 3 times since November for same issue. Today took the cake I walked in severely dehydrated try 5 times to get IV couldn't get it! So Dr came in and put in a special line for fluids and ct scan. Nurse said she would be in to give me fluids never came in. 3 hours after shift change still no fluids!

They came into release me said all results were fine that's a huge line of BS! I ended up after 5 hours no better then I arrived! I ended up leaving they then said it would be AMA against medical advice. Which is also BS because they came into release me. I will be going somewhere else tomorrow. I will not return to DEATH VALLEY again!

The worst hospital I've ever been to. My boyfriend had an allergic reaction and we waited to just see a nurse for 4 hours and another hour and a half to see a doctor and get treated. If you have something important going on do not go to the emergency room. Rude people, everyone's just standing around talking

I went into the ER for pain after a tooth extraction and was treated not only in a timely manner but like my comfort was priority. I was not expecting this from an ER. Never once did they treat me as if I was looking for a fix.

No. Just no. Keep driving on to Springfield, Alice Peck, or even DHMC. They aren't called Death Valley for nothing.
