Dr. Thompson and his staff are the most unprofessional doctors office I have ever been to in my life. They have no attentiveness or respect for their patients. They messed up my MRI referrals and gave me a cheap make-shift insole to help my leg length discrepancy and when I called to complain about the MRI not being sent through properly and the in-sole not fitting in any of my shoes the women he has working the front desk relayed lies back to Dr. Thompson about what my criticism was.
Then the women proceeded to tell me never to come back to his office and hung up when I was confused as to why. I never heard that from Dr. Thompson himself nor have I ever been told that by any other Dr. Also despite never having a confrontation with the Dr. himself. I can only assume his staff skewed my criticism of the treatment, which was deserved, into a foul statement of lies.
It is the most unjust thing I have ever experienced. I would recommend that no one go see a group of people like this because they will make mistakes and they will not handle any criticism about it. Apparently, he will just kick good people who need help to the curb if he doesn't like your opinion of his treatment. Ridiculously unprofessional and deserved of reprimand.

Front office wasn't very friendly, my nurse was outstanding and very friendly. However, not impressed with Dr. Thompson! Looked at me for less than 5 minutes and sent me out the door stating not mechanical, needed labs and required more follow up from my Doctor who sent me there. Tried to give him injury history and didn't have time to hear it! Funny he stated it wasn't mechanical but gave me two mechanical devices for my feet.
Two weeks goes by and nothing! Called them and they stated we hadn't received any labs yet. Nothing like having to do your own follow up. I will be looking for another specialist as this office makes you feel like a sheep at a large farm. They are only after your money!

They lost my referral after they called me to make the appointment. I sat in their office and had my dr resend the referral. Then after that got the referral they refused to see me because of a bill three years ago that I know I paid and could prove I paid. I would not come back if my life depended on it.

Dr. Thompson was the on call podiatrist in the Kootenai Emergency room the day I needed medical attention. He was very kind in informing me of the surgical procedures that were going to take place on my foot. He was able to save my foot and gave me awesome care during my recovery process. I cannot say enough about how great a podiatrist he is and how kind and gentle he is. His staff is superior also in their professionalism and kindness during their care for me as a patient. I called hoping to get an appointment on my home trip from North Dakota. The Dr was to be out of town during my window of time (2 weeks). After I asked if there were any other foot /ankle doctors in the Cda/Post Falls area and was told no. None. Within a few minutes I had searched the internet and found another in network provider. Why the lie?
