Cannot speak highly enough about the entire experience. Also really appreciate all of the help from the hospital social services rep. They called me one month after discharge just to see how the treatment plan was working and again @ 2 months.

Carroll, Iowa.a town of 10,000 people is so fortunate to have such a first class medical facility. I have had family members spend considerable amounts of time in other large hospitals in large cities in Iowa. To me, there is no comparison in the caring and level of comfort one receives at St Anthony's versus the larger hospitals. The overall operation of this hospital is impressive and a true gem for the community.

I love this hospital. Have been going here my whole life, but everytime I go to check in for an appointment the person at the desk comes off as rude. I needed to update my personal information and she gave an attitude. I got new insurance and don't know everything about it yet and she got irritated when she was asking questions that I didn't know. I stood there for a few minutes while she was on her phone before she looked up and seen me standing there.

I would never recommend anyone going to the general surgeons from this place! myself, some friends and now my mother have ALL had issues right after our surgeries! i was in the hospital had to have packing done, and now my mom! she ended up getting an infection, they decided to start packing two times a day for a week with antibiotics. did that seen them again and again said the same thing. so onto another week of packing two times a day and more antibiotics (Which did NOT work) went in for Morning packing on 8-13-20 and they said she was going to get admitted and have yet another surgery! so now here she is laying in the hospital with an open incision and having to have it packed two times a day until if and when she gets a wound vac! there is NO trust or confidence with anyone who works at St. Anthony!

My experience with this hospital has been nothing good. Every time I go in they expect you to do your own diagnosis and treatment. I will not go there again. If you want to have a decent human being treat you like one as well you might as well go outside these small towns.

I was recently in the psych unit. Great staff! I am truly thankful for this hospital. Dr. Muller was the who really listened after years of issues. Every staff member I came into contact with from when I was tranfered into and then discharged from, y'all deserve a medal! Thank you for helping me out!

I decided to go to Carroll ER because the pain was so bad. couldn't walk, sleep, go to the bathroom, or even go to work. They didn't do any looking into it.just gave me shots, and doctor told me to suck it up and sent me home. Turns out it was my appendix! Fort Dodge found that out quick and turned out I needed surgery. I cannot express how grateful I am of the Fort Dodge hospital! Kept my pain under control and were very understanding. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN CARROLL!

Do not recommend. go somewhere else. would give negative stars if i could. Next time they should listen and take someone's pain more serious. they could end up killing someone.

My step-father was in the Critical Care Unit where he received excellent care from the staff. I'd like to express my sincere "Thanks" to Dr. Peters for the kindness he showed to the family and to Wendy R. for her wonderful compassion to not only my step-father but to our family as well. The hospital can only be as great as the people who work there and everyone we dealt with were outstanding!
