I called the doctors office and they told me there's nothing they can do to help me and to call or go to the er here. I called the ER and they told me they can't help me to go to the doctors or try another Er. How pathetic are these people. You get your license to help people in need. Not to sit in the office and Dittle around. I went in with a stomach ache before and they couldn't help me then, they pumped me with injections that made my pain much worse.
The guy Bryan that works in the er didn't even bother to look at my records to see what he can do to help. This hospital is a sham. They show up to be paid but cant and refuse to help their patience

Labor and Delivery, Most of the staff is friendly and supportive. It is just too bad that one labor and delivery nurse can ruin a first time mother's experience. Twice Beth suggested we leave during my daughters labor and then were not there to support her for the emergency c-section. My daughter and her husband were not kept informed and did not understand completely what was going on. Would not recommend this hospital for delivery.

No one wants to go to the ER, but I accompanied a friend to the hospital at about 4AM with a very serious allergic reaction, which was potentially life threatening. Quick admission, knowledgeable and professional medical staff acted fast and effectively, and discharge was a breeze. (Kris at the admission desk is a gem!) It's reassuring to know that we have such quality and comprehensive care just down the street. Thank you!

Their ER is HORRIBLE. They always say nothing is wrong and send patients home. For example my niece was once sick. They sent her home. The next day she was close to dieing if it wasnt because she was taken to Omaha. Shes fine, just needed to take out half her intestines. Now yesterday it was my nephews turn. He was obviously sick. Doctor didnt want to do any tests. Sent mu nephew home.
It was a ear infection. Last night he was taken again to ER and doctor was practically FORCED by my sister to run some tests. She had to beg. Finnaly the so called proffesional doctor did his job and turns out my nephew had pneumonia and gave him a shot and send him home. Moral of the story is doctors are here to save lives. If you dont want to do your job because youre tired then stay home.
So a big thank you to CHEROKEE hospital for saving my nephews life. He was taken to the ER a third time. Its terrible when you have to take someone to another hospital other than the one in your town. Im not the only one that hates these services and cares. Many people do but theres a language barrier so they dont speak out. I really hope one day SL hospital is a great place to be taken care of
