Not the best care I have been given. I was there in July and things could have been better. A psych dr in Alexandria's error sent me to the ER. They were trying to send me home even though I couldn't dress myself when I started shaking and my husband came to get them again. I had to end up being admitted. They took blood from THE SIDE OF MY WRIST. in the ER so painful I was crying my head off.
Then about 5 minutes later another lady came to take it again and ARGUED with me it had not been done even though I was still crying from it. She FINALLY listened to me, asked the nurses who were next door, said oh ok, and left. No sorry for not listening or checking with you are making a bad issue.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. My 3 year old son had an outpatient dental surgery done at this facility. While I appreciate the effort that was made to keep my son alive on a what should have been a simple surgery, the staff here lied to my husband and I and told us it was uneventful. They did not think it was serious enough to advise us of the fact he was bagged because he was no longer breathing on his own.
We had only found out because my husband over heard a nurse say that he was bagged. Then we started asking questions and the anesthesiologist asked if we worked on the medical field. I do not know what that has to do with being told information about my sons surgery but I assured him we both did and understood medical terminology. The look on all of their faces said it all, that they knew they were caught and had to come clean.
They were seriously NOT going to tell us. He proceeds to explain that it is normal to do this.ok to nag every single patient is in fact NOT normal. Not to mention they dosed him with so much medication I could hardly get him to wake up, the nurses were incompetent, and scatter brained. They must of thought we were uneducated and did not understand but they were wrong and I WILL pursue this issue as far as I possible can. ZERO STARS.THIS PLACE IS NOTHING BUT A BANDAID STOP.DO NOT RECOMMEND!

It's unfortunate that we are here under the circumstances but everyone here is making our stay the best they can. The nurses are so sweet to us and the Dr has a lot of compassion for his patients. It's super clean and they are constantly making sure we have what we need and that my son is well cared for. Thanks Savoy Medical Center for treating my boy like family while he goes through this rough patch

My grandma was admitted and some (not all) of the staff treated her poorly and disrespectfully. Every time I walked to the nurses station to ask for assistance, I was treated as if I was "bothering" them. My grandma's IV was really bothering her and I asked them to come check it, we waited 4 hours and they never even came to look at it until they took it out when we were leaving.
It started bleeding everywhere and the nurse blamed her for bumping it and was very rude about it. I was very relieved to get my grandma out of that hospital. I wouldnt recommend going there.
