My daughter injured her hand at school during PE and needed to be seen. The care was great from start to finish. We were seen within 15 minutes, had an x-ray and fracture diagnosis in less than an hour. Our nurse Amanda was very kind, Kathy in x-ray was very patient and the entire experience was expedited in a timely fashion. We are thankful for our hometown to have a hospital that can not only care for us, but, does care for us! Thank you!

I had a scheduled C-section May 18th and was so thankful with how comforting the staff was. Every nurse I had was super helpful and polite. Wonderful bedside manner. Food was delicious for my 48hr stay. Room was big and comfy, plenty of walking room. That was my third and final C-section at EMC with Dr. Pollard and will be forever grateful for him and his OB staff. Delivery and recovery was a dream.

My husband and I had the best possible experience for Labor and Delivery this past week. The nursing staff were fantastic and very attentive. Each nurse we had was superb! The rooms were very clean, and large in size (especially delivery room). For a small hospital, they greatly exceeded our expectations! Our physicians were great as well! Definitely would recommend!

Everyone was completely amazing! The labor and delivery nurse Denise, she helped me through all of it even with the epidural process, she saw every part of me even with the cries and labor process. Everyone took great care of my baby girl when I needed it. Including the nursery nurse Beth for taking her so I could sleep after giving birth Thank you medical center enterprise for all that you do

Per usual, in a time of desperate need and struggle, Dr Ramsey wrote my child off, told her she was fine, made her feel worse mentally than she came physically. His nurse, Doreen, however, was the savior of our evening. She was calm, yet thorough, gracious, understanding, well informed and informing, sensitive, and kept us as long as necessary until she felt good about sending us home as though my child were hers and caring about my concerns. Thank you so much, Miss Doreen, and God bless you, sincerely!

We delivered my son at MCE and had a wonderful experience. All the nurses were helpful and were very educative. I felt like I was their only patient when they were in my room. Dr Heim delivered our baby boy and i felt in the know during everything. Our nursery nurse Tiffany was a sweetheart and so caring with our baby. Heather the L&D nurse-lactation was amazing. She visited our room multiple times a day to check on us nursing and helped in so many ways. The food was even good, what hospital has good food?! 10/10 would recommend.

My experience at the Medical Center was amazing all the nurse was nice. They treated me and my baby with special care. I loved the fact they kept coming to check on us at all times. They was very helpful with me due to me not able to do something's by myself. They made me feel very welcomed. It's like they had all the answers to my questions. I really appreciate everything y'all done for me & my son. We are truly blessed

It's been 15 days since I had my little girl in this hospital. I had my appointment for 5am since I arrived, I always had very good care from the girl at the reception to all the health personnel. I had my little girl on January 20, 2022 I have to admit that I am amazed with the attention of the Anesthesiology team and what can I say about my Dr. Heim who always gave me confidence without separating his professionalism and dedication to his patients.
In postpartum, what can I say about the excellent attention of all the nurses without excluding any, attentive to both me and my little girl, went to my room many times asking me how I felt if I needed anything. When I was discharged, many doctors and nurses gave me all the necessary information. I would 100% recommend this hospital its health staff makes your stay there pleasant.

I was recommended by my physician to have my lab work done here for his convenience(in his area) I had a rheumatoid panel(blood work) done and was charged over $2700. My insurance paid over $1200 which left me with a bill of over $1500. My out of pocket maximum is $3000 and this simple lab work almost matched it! I wasn't admitted I wasn't an outpatient I simply was there for lab work.
If you need simple procedures such as lab work in this pandemic era, be mindful of facilities possibly seeing you and your insurance as opportunity to make inflated charges work to their advantage. The two star is because the blood work did happen successfully. However the charges were ludicrous.

My sister had COVID-19 and she has asthma and was having a panic attack because she couldn't breathe. They refused to test her because she "didn't have enough symptoms" and told her she was being "unnecessary". A nurse asked her if she was on drugs and they were all snappy and rude. She tested positive the next day after we went somewhere else for a test and had to get a breathing machine.
On another occasion, she went in to get an ultrasound after a positive pregnancy test as she has had a cyst in the past which can give false positives. She was in a lot of pain and it was a Saturday so no specialty or OGBYN were open until Monday. They refused to do an ultrasound or any additional testing after she tested positive saying "it wasn't medically neccesary" and when she insisted they said "that's not how it works.
We can't change it for you. " and laughed. The cyst ruptured the next day and she had to get surgery. I went in after nearly passing out at work, the left side of my body going numb, and other things and was given fluid for "being dizzy". I was there over 4 hours and no other tests were done except basic lab tests and they said I was dehydrated.
I was originally referred to the hospital because the clinic I went too believe I had a stroke. I reiterated that to the nurse there who wrote down "dizziness" and "numbness" in my chart and was extremely rude and short tempered. A few times we have gone, we were seen almost immediately but other times it was hours before we were seen. My sister originally tried to go in the day before on Friday but was there 4 hours and ended up leaving before she was seen as she still was estimated another 2 hour wait.
Everyone I've ever talked to, says How terrible this hospital is and that they would rather go to a quick care place or to Dothan than here. They also did not enforce COVID guidelines. They have a temperature station set up but no nurse is there and guests walk in without doing it. It's only there so they can say they are taking protective measures. They don't record the temperatures or even take them themselves.

If I could give a negative I would because the staff and doctor was very rude! I went in feeling like I couldn't breathe well and asked the doctor if I could get some oxygen and he smiled at me and said no but you can take your mask off and then come to find out the man that they put me in a room with was positive for covid they ended up admitting him into the hospital so not only was I exposed to cover but my 15 year old daughter was as well along with a young woman that was 19 weeks pregnant! It was the worst service I have ever had in my life especially going to a hospital

I honestly read the reviews before I went because I have never been to this hospital. The reviews of the negativity is so untrue. The two ladies that where at the front was so patient and nice. My wait time was no more than thirty minutes which was pretty good. The ladies in the back one gave me a sticker before I got discharged and told me no one has ever been this quiet I laughed. Its all about how you are raised and people need to have patience with all this thats going on.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. PLEASE, PLEASE if you or a family member need medical attention, especially if there is a chance you/they will end up in ICU go somewhere else. Flowers Hospital in Dothan is owned by the same people as medical center enterprise, so please be mindful of that if choosing to use them instead. 2 nurses in ICU, one named Brenda and the other named Deborah are HORRIBLE human beings who hate their jobs.
My Grandmother who was in ICU and just passed away in there had these two women as her nurses at times (of course, nurses rotate rooms/patients). My mom who was my Grandmother's medical decision maker had to deal with these 2 "nurses" on multiple occasions. They both talked down to my mother, both had attitudes the entire time/everytime we had to deal with them. Brenda even implied one time my mother was a bad daughter at one point.
Both women are CLEARLY there for a paycheck and not the welfare of the patient. Deborah was by FAR the worse nurse we have EVER dealt with. She never spoke without an attitude and/or sighing. I can not believe Deborah has a job taking care of sick patients. I really hope my review will save someone and/or some family the heartache we went through with these horrible nurses. ICU patients and their families should be treated with more respect.
They are already going through enough. Also to add, Deborah proudly proclaimed she's been there for 37 years (and I'm guessing treating all her patients the same way), so I know this review isn't going to change anything and these 2 nurses will keep their jobs, meaning you or your family will risk being treated the same way if you go here and end up in ICU.

My husband had hip replacement surgery on October 18th. Everyone from registration staff, surgical team and nurses were outstanding and friendly and very professional. The floor nurse Tan went above and beyond to keep him comfortable and satisfied. Physical therapy Jennifer was so great working with him and was very helpful with his concerns for going home. Thank you all for such a great experience.

My wife was having low blood pressure, dizziness and weakness symptoms. We took her by ambulance to Medical Center Enterprise Al. This was on a Thursday about 11:00 on the morning. They admitted her to the hospital through the Emergency Room. Today is Sunday. Four days later and I cannot get any doctors or nurses to call me back about her condition.
She told me they gave her a blood transfusion for her anemia. Her potassium and magnesium levels are dropping and some one I talked to said she could take pills and drink potassium containing drinks to raise it again. My wife had most of her pancreas, her spleen, adrenal gland and a piece of her stomach removed in January. Just letting everyone know to avoid this hospital like the plague if your love ones need medical care.
Most uncaring, uninformed bunch of amateurs I have ever seen on a medical facility. I have worked in hospitals and we always kept the family members aware what we were doing or going to do for their loved ones. This hospital has shown complete disregard for my concerns or questions about my wife's health. My insurance carrier, Blue Cross Blue Shield, tried to call and find out what was going on and they were placed on hold after about twenty rings and then hung up on.
I get more information from my veterinarian about my dogs than I get from this joke of a hospital. I'm getting her transferred to a real hospital in Dothan, Alabama. Don't use this hospital if you care about your loved ones. It's obvious they don't care. Oh yeah. You can bet your ass they will not have a problem contacting me about the money I will owe them. Good luck getting a dime from me.

Spent 2.5 hours in the ER waiting room. Finally got back to a room where the nurse came in and basically bitched me out for not eating and then passing out saying I put so many people in danger by driving (I was not driving when I passed out since I was sitting and usually just standing will cause me to faint) when not being able to eat and then assumed that I didn't eat on purpose (which is NOT the case).
The doctor came in and asked what time I passed out, I told him and he said "you just now came in?" And I said no we've been in the waiting room all this time. He seemed very surprised. I was there 7 hours in total. The ONLY reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the friendly doctor.

This place is horrible, I'd rather die on the way to Dothan than go to this poor excuse for a hospital. I went into the ER for treatment. Upon leaving, I went to check out and to pay my $200.00 copay right then (It was actually $170.00). They denied taking payment stating they would just bill me. I told them I would like to pay now, they refused.
Thirty days later I received a bill, within the next 15 days I received a letter stating my bill was sent to collections 45 days into billing! So I now have a collection in my credit, though I paid the bill it still will show. I have spoken to others as well, only to learn the exact same thing has happened to them as well. Now for treatment. As stated before I checked into the ER, with a room full of 2 people.
I waited about an hour in serious pain. I expect this from any ER, so that's not a deal breaker. I get to the room and all is going well so far. The nurse came in to give an IV, but keep in mind I am an avid weight lifter and exercise quite often. I also have veins like fire hoses as the blood bank states. They are huge, easy to tap into and great blood flow.
This idiot shoved the needle straight through to the other side of my vein bursting it. My blood flow is great so it immediately swells full of blood. She tries my hand then shoves it straight through and the same result. I've never had this happen. So to the other arm, she starts wiggling the needle around! I winced a little in pain, and this woman actually said, "stop being a baby" I was furious! Then upon returning she said twice more, "how the baby doing" trying to tease me. I'm not afraid of needles or anything, the nurse had horrible bedside manner.

I don't even know where to start. Horrible medical care by loud inattentive staff. The nurse discharged me after she explaining that all my labs were normal. I thought it was customary to have the physician report lab results to patients. I requested my medical records two days later and found that I was severely anemic and had elevated TSH levels.
So I was essentially lied to. The ER was freezing and did not have blankets for patients. You're shoved into a room and forgotten. No one checked on me. I would have been better off staying home. If you can avoid this place, I advise you do so.

Don't waste your time this place is a joke. Care nothing about the care of the patient. Had a horrible experience! Will never go back there, will use my dogs vet before I would step back in that place. Be warned wish I had thought to read reviews before I wasted half a day and left feeling as bad or worse than when I arrived.
