After reading some reviews, I feel assured that I am not the only one that struggles with this company. I have had decent customer service reps who try their best to resolve order issues, but for the most part, you can be sure you will get stuck in loophole after loophole of authorizations, prior authorizations, delayed orders, incorrect orders, and some oddly strict policies that keep you from receiving anything new until you are a days, or hours, away from running out of it.
In theory, their app should make it easy to place and see order status. I find I have to watch the app on a daily basis since anything I order can and willl get hung up in "processing" for days or weeks at a time if not managed. You wont get any notifications that an order was delayed or is stuck. So you are left to scramble to find a new solution as you are running out of supplies.
It is so very frustrating to deal with this company. They can potentially pose a risk to your health if you don't manage their orders and should be held accountable for this.

I wish I could give this company less that a one star. They are horribly incompetent at best and downright fraudulent at worst! They are insisting that they sent me a 90 day supply of sensors when they actually only sent me a 30 day supply. They are trying to charge me for the rest of the 60 sensors and have charged Medicare for them so now I can't even use another company for my supplies because these idiots keep charging Medicare even after being told that I do not wish to use them anymore.
My doctor sent a new script to a new company but that company can't send me supplies because it shows that Solara is billing for them! I have been trying to fix this since December of last year. made multiple calls to them and my doctor and the new supply company. I even called the post office and use the tracking number (I was told by A Solara rep to do this and file a claim with the post office because the missing supplies must have been something they did) I ask the post office to see if the supplies shipped were the accurate amount.
The post office replied that what Solara said they shipped and what they (the Post Office) received from them for shipping were not the same. I have finally opened up a fraud case against them with Medicare. Not only did they bill for supplies I never received. that billing is keeping me from getting supplies from anyone else.

I've tried to get my prescription filled for a month now for my Dexcom supplies, it ended up being my doctors fault which was fine. But when the lady called to ask me about it she had the worse attitude about life and her job. It's already bad enough us diabetics have to pay this much for supplies but for somebody to call me with that little respect is unacceptable by all means. Would not recommend this company

Solara has the worst customer service of any medical supply company I have ever used. I am currently on hold and have been for over 30 minutes. They ask you to use the Plus app to reorder supplies, but I have yet to be able to place an order without having to call and speak to someone. Their billpay website is also less than helpful. It only shows paid invoices and not any payments made toward invoices.
My last 2 orders were never sent through my insurance, so I received a ridiculous bill from them. I really wish I could receive my supplies from another company. If at all possible, do not use Solara!

Emilia S. at Solara Medical Supplies is amazing. I spent an entire morning bouncing from one company to another trying to figure out where and how to acquire my daughter's type 1 diabetes equipment under a new insurance plan. All my previous calls left me with individuals that were either unhelpful or not understandable. Emilia was prompt, knowledgeable, helpful, and cheerful! I hope the company realizes what a great employee they have in Emilia.

I have been waiting for my new pump for over 3 months now. Solara asked my doctor for some medical documents, which were sent over. But then solara requested new medical documents, again they were sent to solara. Now solara AGAIN is requesting different medical documents, instead of asking for every document on the very first fax they over complicate things and this is FRUSTATING and Ridiculous! I have been calling Solara MANY times. By far the worst medical supply company I have ever dealt with. Super incompetent to say the least.

Atrocious company. placed an order a week ago, they didnt attempt to ship it until today, and now are being hung about prior auth. I make these orders early to avoid issues like this, but when they sit on their butts for a week, they cause me to run out of supplies that are crucial to staying alive. and it happens every time, it doesnt matter how early i refill, they wait 1 or 2 weeks to do anything about it. i will be taking my business elsewhere, you messed with my health too much and im over it.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been trying to return supplies for over three months and have been unable to get a return authorization. However, they keep billing me! Seems to be a serious communication gap inside the company. I would highly recommend not using them unless you are confident in what you are ordering AND the price they give you is correct. I paid an upfront cost that I expected only to get another bill weeks later that was 3x the first bill. This was not discussed when I signed up. VERY FRUSTRATING!

Worst customer service i've ever experienced. as i'm writing this i have been on hold for almost an hour and keep being told "your wait time i less than two minutes." they never answer calls about concerns, send random bills in the mail, and hold your supplies even after you pay the bill. do they not realize they are shipping important medical supplies that people desperately need?

If you need medical supplies that your life depends on DO NOT USE SOLARA. They will treat it like it's a joke. Their customer service is nonexistent. I doubt they get any training at all. I need a blood sugar sensor since I cannot feel when my bloodsugars drop and when I ordered with Solara in September they told me my insurance was invalid so I reached out to my insurance and they assured me I was covered.
I had ordered through Solara before with my issues until this order and it was the same insurance company! Week before thanksgiving I was finally told my order was going to be shipped out and overnight shipped for free (supposedly noted in the account). Week after thanksgiving I called to find out where my order was and was informed it was canceled.
I asked to speak to a supervisor (who needs fired) and she got very rude and nasty when I explained that I had been dealing with this since September and then was lied to about my order being shipped the week before. She said the person I talked to was wrong and my order was canceled because my insurance was invalid. I asked to speak to another supervisor or someone who could help me resolve the issue that day.
She snapped with "I am who you need to speak to but you apparently don't know what you need because you can't seem to give us the correct insurance information." Please avoid this company. Dexcom did their customer wrong when they handed over their customers information to these clowns. This has all be one massive migraine and anxiety attack.

If I could give zero stars I would. I've had years of problems with this company and if I could get my insulin pump supplies through anyone else, I would. In the latest debacle, they changed my November order to include only 1 month of supplies. When I called last week, the representative told me that this was done to maximize my insurance benefits.
I explained that my benefits reset in November, so this edit did me no good in maximizing my benefits. I asked to have things escalated to a supervisor to see if I could have things shipped to me sooner, I was assured that a supervisor would call me within the next day. Needless to say, I received no call back. When I called today, I explained the situation and the representative told me they had reached out to my doctor for a prescription and hadn't received one.
She transferred me to speak with a supervisor. She informed me that the reason that my November order was edited was because the prescription was going to run out in December. Then she informed me that they had reached out to my doctor yesterday. 2 days after my order was supposed to ship. When I asked why I wasn't contacted in November she said it was because there wasn't a problem then.

The utmost worst medical supply company in the business. 5 weeks ago I started the reorder process for my Dexcom G6 Diabetic monitoring device, over a dozen calls between Care Centric, BCBS, and myself and still no supplies or answers as to why they can't ship although they have received the doctors notes and the Insurance Claim was approved. Their customer service is a complete disgrace and their attitude stinks. 2 weeks now without supplies and no answers or callbacks as they promise. HORRIBLE COMPANY!

Worst experience ever, promise one price, overcharge you after. After dozen of phone calls they say that they'll freeze the bill and figure out what happened. Long story short I paid half of the bill the day I made a purchase and set up 2 payments for the following two months, however the bill I received in the mail was 600$ higher that's when I called multiple times about the error and the account got frozen. 6 months after I receive the *past due summary with the threat of collectors being involved in the next ten days* without any notice of account hold lift off.
On top of that the bill came $162 higher than it was supposed too. This is my second day trying to call billing department and there's no call back option, all I do just listen to their hold music for two hours or longer. At this point I will be reaching out my attorney and will be discussing predatory medical billing along with breach of the contract that happened in April due to the over charge.

Alicia Russel screwed up our order and then took no accountability or responsibility for it. We were without a critical sensor for our son for 4 days because she mailed it to the wrong address and they couldn't fix it. I had to call multiple time to get the real story of where the shipment was and she lied to me and told me multiple time it would be here earlier. She also told me she was too busy to call anyone back so if I wanted updates I would need to call her back. Look for any another company for your medical supply needs.
