The office staff spoke loudly and about personal events while I waited to be checked in. The nurse was kind and professional. She took an X-ray for a soft tissue concern (hmm) and told me the doctor would be in shortly. As I waited over 50 minutes in the exam room I could hear the doctor on the phone and in different exam rooms as he had conversations with 4-5 patients.

After about an hour I left my exam room and spoke to the a staff member in the reception area. I stated that I had arrived an hour ago and wanted to know when I would be seen by the doctor. I was told I was his next patient or if I couldn't wait any longer I could reschedule. I told them that if the doctor was running an hour late it would be courteous and professional to let patients know so they could delay their arrival.

When the doctor entered the exam room I mentioned that I had been waiting over an hour in the exam room. He said he'd been on the phone with the hospital and what was it he could do for me. He was dismissive and unwilling to receive polite feedback. When I told him why I was there he wanted to know how I had come up with the diagnosis regarding to my situation.

I explained that at age 65, I know my body and that this was a genetic condition. He wanted an mri prior to removing my lipoma in a hospital. I asked about it being removed in the office. (Previous similar surgeries for my lipomas have all been done in the office with a local anesthesia.) He said "why not in a hospital, is it because you want to save money?" I responded that you are more likely to get an infection in the hospital.

When I went to check out and pay my copay I was told I didn't have one. I responded that I know my copay is $35 for specialists etc. The entire experience was frustrating, unprofessional and a waste of time. My time is as valuable as a doctors. Waiting 10-15 minutes is acceptable. Waiting over an hour is disrespectful. I will not be returning, have contacted my insurance company about my experience and told them to not pay or charge me my copay.

Office staff is rude. Absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever in person and on the phone. Long waits on both as well. The dr, wrote a prescription for medicine not covered by insurance at all per pharmacist and cost over $700. The entire visit was useless. Don't go here.

I've been taken care of by them before. Left a previous review and now I can't find it! Wonderful staff! Dr. Reper is awesome! This office really takes care of it's patients. Please give them a chance to help you! You won't regret it.

As a paying patient i would like to share my experience with this clinic. I had three visits for my foot and the first visit was good, they took good care of my needs and was friendly. On my return visit they seemed to be having trouble figuring out how much my bill would be. They gotbit figured out and i payed them. Well we ordered orthodox onsole and on that visit i was to pay for the services given that day and half the insole price.

My visit today was one i am still upset about. First of all when the young lady called me back, as we was walking down the hall i made a mistake and call one of the girls doc. My bad but mustakes happen. As i sat in my room waiting for the Dr i could hear them talking and laughing about it. Not very professional in my appinion If that is the way you do business i will not be sending people to you for help

Doctor Reaper was great. This was the second surgery my wife had on both feet. He took his time and explained everything my wife felt so comfortable with the whole experience. I would recommend Doctor Reaper to any one wanting help with foot or ankle problems.

I went to the Madisonville location for a heel spur. Visit #1: Xray machine isn't working Visit #2: Computer lost all patient information - they are trying to retrieve Visit #3: They are locked out of office - after an hour, someone arrives with the key Visit #4: Uneventful Visit #5: Supposed to do computer scan of my feet for custom orthotics. They couldn't get it to work. They set up to do plaster. After waiting another 20 minutes, I left. This place is incompetent. I'm going elsewhere. I suggest you do the same!

Dr. Reper sped through my initial examination and consultation for plantar fasciitis. He was rude and dismissive when I asked to begin with conservative treatment rather than a series of injections and told the receptionist to let me know that I could "come back in two weeks if [I] wanted to." The nurse, however, was kind as she took x-rays and showed me how to wear a splint.

But all in all, I left feeling upset, disrespected, and without the answers I needed to understand my condition. Luckily, my rheumatologist had already written an order for me to begin physical therapy.

Due to several gout attacks, I've seen Dr. Hawk, both at this Lenoir City location and at Madisonville, and have nothing but good things to say. Quick Appointments - I am amazed at how quickly they are able to work me into their schedule THE SAME DAY! That is so crucial when you are experiencing all of the joys of gout! Bedside Manners - Dr. Hawk is one of the nicest, most genuinely caring physicians I've ever seen.

I've visited one other podiatrist in my town and was not impressed and had to pay much more out of pocket. I will only make the hour drive to see Dr. Hawk. Ease of Access - Both locations are easily accessible. The Lenoir City office is right off of I-75 and close to many eateries. Madisonville is farther out for some, it is right on Hwy 411 and right in town.

Office Experience - Everyone has always treated me kindly and have been sympathetic of my condition. I've never had a wait time of more than 15 minutes, even with them working me into their day. The medical assistants have been truly caring and compassionate. So, TN Foot and Ankle Clinic well deserves a 5 star rating.

Dr. Hawk was highly recommended by my UT General Practitioner to alleviate my foot problem. I am very pleased with the attention to detail and success of the surgery Dr. Hawk performed. I have been equally impressed with the post surgery follow-up by the staff. The team called frequently to check on my healing process. In particular, the office manager was attentive to any questions or concerns I might have and went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied with all aspects of my after care!

I have read other reviews and can say that my experience with Dr. Hawk and his team was very good. I am glad that my GP recommended Dr. Hawk and Tennessee Foot and Ankle! I certainly would do the same! None of us want to have foot or ankle surgery but when necessary, we all want the best and most professional Doctor Team taking care of us. That's what Dr. Hawk and his team represents!
