Since I have fewer patients under this Direct Primary Care model, I spend more time with you! You get to ask questions, you understand your body and more importantly, together we work on keeping you healthy. And, with regular, more frequent visits now affordable, potential health problems are detected early.
You pay ONE monthly fee for access to me all month long. No, this is NOT insurance and I don't take insurance, but I welcome patients who are ready to join me in actively taking care of their health without the interruption of health care companies. The monthly membership is a predictable flat fee, based on age and not degree of illness or utilization.
In practices offering concierge care, patients typically pay a high retainer fee in addition to insurance premiums and other plan obligations (e.g., copays, out-of-pocket expenditures), and the practice continues to bill the patient's insurance carrier. In addition, concierge care still requires the physician to restrict care based on oppressive insurance and Medicare rules, and still burdens the physician with hours and hours of paperwork, taking away time and energy better devoted to the patient.

I don't write many reviews, however, if I do it is because I feel compelled. In this case it is the style and quality of care that Dr. Schilling provides that motivates me to share my experience. I have been a patient of hers for many years and found her to be dedicated, experienced, compassionate and understanding. I have lost two partners to health issues and consequently have experience with many medical professionals and can honestly say Dr. Schilling ranks among the very best.

I have been receiving medical care from Dr. Wendy Schilling for a year, and I have found her to be well educated, well spoken and personable. She always makes sure to offer thorough care and provides as much information as possible to help me move towards healing. I had signed up for her DPC program, which I found to be very reasonably priced and helpful to have. I highly recommend her services.

Dr Schilling was amazing from our first call and since then things have only improved. She's responsive, caring, and highly professional. I wish all my experiences with our medical system were as good as with Dr Schilling. I would pay more if she charged more. Just being able to text her during business hours and get simple questions answered would be worth the monthly fee. She helped me with Covid questions and with navigating getting orthopedic care for a broken arm. 10/10 in every way.

Family friends in Ashland have been using Dr. Schillings's office since she opened. One time I needed urgent care services while visiting and she opened her office for us, giving me a member rate. She is awesome, affable, intelligent and careful. The place is awesome and quite comfortable, even though it's pretty small.
