Why give a 3D test to someone with an artificial eye? That adds insult to injury.

Overbook patients is the norm so expect long wait times. Eye doctors get annoyed if you ask a question, so don't ask any questions. Not too fond of bifocals, but that was is covered by insurance. Parking Lot is huge and no big potholes. Would have liked some free samples of eye drops.

My 25 year old son went here after an eye exam because he was referred for a second eye exam by our opthalmologist. His original Dr was concerned because he is only 25 and was getting a lot of "floaters" in his eyes, which is not really normal. She had him get a blood test to make sure it was not for another medical reason. The doctor here said "Yes you have floaters in your eyes, and you get them as you get older.

Come if you see flashes of lights." This man pretty much dismissed him. I am 54 and I don't have floaters in my eyes that prevent me from seeing that "come with age". I think they should have shown more concern and offered possible information on what he should do next. I mean this is not really a normal occurrence for a young man that does not have a head injury."

Total Scam. Exceptionally high/marked up prices on glasses and contact lenses. Lack of transparency with billing; they waited until after eye exam to tell me that they did not accept my insurance. Lack of customer service skills. You are treated as a number and have to digitally sign paperwork with almost every interaction you have with a person. If you call, don't expect to talk to anyone. You will go directly to an answering machine. Do not go here.

I had my right cataract removed on 11/18/2021 and now after 63 yrs can see 20/30 on my worse eye. The surgery was absolutely painless. Today 11/19/2021 i can see so clear driving, yes driving a day later. Dr Ginsburg changed my life. Anyone considering or have any fear or reservations i say have it done. The staff were amazing, so i must say after reading the negative reviews i find them questionable.

I was always seen earlier than my appointment. Every question was answered with patience, professionalism. I give Berkshire Eye Center a 10 +. I have had glasses 63 yrs seen many eye doctors at Mass Eye and ear in Boston, Ma and 4 other states and never been treated, cared for so well. Congratulations Dr Ginsburg, and Staff. Also i reread most of the negative reviews and again question them.

I never seen anyone there waiting in line ignored. If you walk in see a receptionist you just walk up not stand there expecting them to read your mind. For all they no you may be waiting for someone. As for staff not having covid shots i question this as they have all covid safety measures in place. Almost all negative -reviews i read stated they were well cared for by the doctors, so why are you complaining about such trivial things and giving 1 star. Come on be fair.

The office staff were professional, as were the nurses. Kind, informative, efficient. Dr. Evenchik was unprofessional and dismissive. He ignored two questions I asked completely. I tried to ask again and he ignored them again. He talked about me to his staff, but did not talk to me except to tell me to move my head or my eyes. He didn't tell me what he was going to do or why before he did it, just gave me orders.

He gave me a prescription, no explanation, and walked out of the room, giving me one last shot of important information as he left so that I could not ask questions. I'll call my health insurance provider on Monday to let them know how bad this experience was, and I've already made a new appointment elsewhere. I waited weeks for this appointment, now I have to wait 3 months for the new appointment. This rating system doesn't allow for no stars or I would have given no stars.

This practice does not require it's staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. There is no excuse for this considering that they will be literally right in our faces. On the upside I felt very well taken care of by John at the Pittsfield location. He did an excellent job of working with me to find frames in a style I like that would work for the size that I need.

I would give the place 5 stars for my experience working with John alone, but I am passionately against a medical practice expecting patients to come in and be exposed to non-vaccinated staff.

Waited five months for an emergency appointment for a young child. Received phone call day prior to confirm appointment for 8:20am, scheduled babysitter, arrived at 8:15am to be told our appointment was at 8, the doctor refused to see us and said to reschedule for another month out. In a town with this as our only option it looks like we will be traveling away for proper care. Beyond disappointed we waited so long to be denied the appointment leaving my four year old in tears.

Dr. Goodrich is not reliable nor should be seen by anyone! He gave me the run around about my prescription for over 6 months and made my vision WORST! If you have Dr. Goodrich or are supposed to see him, change doctors immediately! He is a waste of time and has NO answers. If you are looking to waste time and money he is the one for that.

I had a very unprofessional experience at this eye doctor. I walked into the office and was waiting in line (there was nobody in front of me I was the only person in line) and the receptionist was just staring at me for like 2 minutes not saying a word. She did not wave or call me over, just stared at me. Finally I said hi are waiting to check me in, she gave a slight nod.

This office may want to train their staff to welcome patients by saying something like: "hi, how may I help you?", or "good morning, I can help you over here." Just some basic communication skills can go very far.
