I don't know if it's me or my ethnicity but I felt I was treated differently. Which is why I stopped going to Coldwater hospital. It was a bad experience & that was it for me.

My mom prefers this hospital to the others in the area. When I have gone to visit her there, everything was clean, and everybody there from the nurses to the custodian were all very nice.

Worst ER ever. Sending people that are very ill home then they are transferred bk to hospital next day by squad. My friend was admitted with covid very critical after she was sent home and given a shot. I had fallen and sat in ER for 2 hrs. I left and went to St. Marys hospital then I was transferred to MVH.I never received a phone call from Coldwater ER nurse inquiring why I left the hospital. I DID receive a bill for use of their chair in waiting room.!.This has been happening quite an a lot.

Definitely not a place to go with Children. I had to bring my son here because of his Pediatrician being part of the Mercer Health Group and because of his history we had only been to children's hospitals. This was a different experience. Like other reviews we were not used to not seeing someone overnight. They didn't come in to check his oxygen, and check his vitals. this blew my mind.

I had to go get a nurse everytime my 2 year old son needed something, and he had a serious respiratory illness. She asked me what I thought he should have?! Next time we will only go back to Dayton Childrens. This is not a hospital for children, that and the east wing third floor seriously needs to update the patient rooms. They were really bad, dingy and old and dirty. Never again. Other than that the ER nurses were nice, but I will drive the extra 35 mins to Dayton.

The staff is very helpful, experienced, polite and upbeat. The hallways are very confusing, easy to get lost

Front desk staff is ridiculous. I call to set up three appointments after not being able to set up one they didn't attempt to set up any others. Just changed to this hospital and clearly that was dumb on my part because all they care about is getting paid and not helping.

Friendly staff except or the physical therapist. I just had surgery and she is forcing me up and saying she'll snatch me up if I don't move. I'm screaming in pain and shaking about to pass out and she won't let me sit down and when I do she makes me get right back up in intolerable pain. All the other nurses are patient with me and help me with the pain and let me take my time. That's the only reason it's a 2 star is for the staff who is treating me good

Came in with an emergency. The ER was fast and got me stablized quickly. Ive now been here for almost 3 days and the nurses and doctors have been nothing but amazing. Not only have they been making sure that I get what I need but they have gone out of their way to make sure myself and my girlfriend are comfortable while being stuck here. This is by far the best hospital stay I've ever had.

I've had friendlier experiences at gas stations in bad neighborhoods. Do Not Bring Your Kids Here. Only as a last resort. They don't do regular checkups throughout the night-I've stayed up with my child and waited. They always had to finish their own conversations with each other before i could talk to them about my DYING CHILD. The following morning my child needed a breathing treatment and they thought that was a good time to ram is with questions about what we wanted for the next day's breakfast.

My child was already in distress with the breathing treatment and needed me and my wife, we didn't care about food at that moment. My wife had to go outside to make a phone call and during that time, without warning, they came in and needed a blood sample. I wanted my wife to come in first so she can confort my child. They tried to get the blood before that.

I said we're waiting! The bed sheets have blood from our child from the first night and haven't been changed. With a life threatening respiratory infection, this is unacceptable. The worst part is the doctor betting unsure about what to do. And she forgot she was with the wrong patient. UNACCEPTABLE! I was done being polite. Things were done when we the parents wanted them done.

Last resort and only if you don't have time for Dayton's children's hospital. Dayton, Ohio has the best hospitals around. Fort Wayne, Indiana also had the best hospitals- me being a great example. They saved my life when i was a kid and Mercer Health was unable to do anything else for me. Thankfully ii was care flighted over there. Parents, future patients, beware of Mercer Health. Please for your own health beware and God bless.

Waited 45 mins after bein first in line. The lady was very rude and verbal with me. I was waiting 45 mins to complete a drug screen for a job. Never had this problem with any other hospital.
