I have been attending Center for Sight since 2013. Initially, I came to this facility to find out why I had lost my peripheral vision. The doctor sent me for an MRI and referred me to a neurosurgeon. Now I come in for regular follow-ups. My visits usually consist of an exam, and photos of my optic nerve. I have always had a good experience at this facility, and would recommend it to anyone.

I agree with Sabrina's post. Unethical bait and switch. I now 0we over 2 grand for a quoted 600 dollar proceedure. Davidoff found some scar tissue in my eyes and said he could fix it with a Lazer. Zap zap was the term he used saying the entire procedure would just take a few minutes. I asked him about the cost. I asked if it was something that cost thousands to fix or would be under a thousand.
He said much less than a thousand for both eyes. He said they would go over prices in a few minutes if I wanted it done. Ashley went over the cost and my insurance. Ashley said she wasn't sure if my insurance would take care of it so I would have to pay in advance. She said he would do it next door on and gave me directions. I paid the full amount a little over $600 just like Dr Davidoff said.
Procedure went great. It only took a few minutes to remove the scar tissue. I was in and out of the office in 45 minutes. Today I just found out I owe another EIGHTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS. I called the office to asked about the charges since I paid in advance. Melissa told me I should have known the other facilities charge fees on top of what the eye doctor charges and transfered me to Ashley.
Since I didn't go to the hospital I didn't know there were extra charges. Ashley never mentioned these charges. On my initial conversation I went over charges with Ashley. I made sure it covered both eyes since I am legally blind in one eye with only peripheral vision i would never have agreed to pay 2500 for the proceedure. I just would not have had the proceedure done in that eye. Ashley is the person that made me pay up front the $600 in case insurance did not cover it.
I called back and spoke to an office manager named lenora who told me she was 99.9 percent sure they would have gone over the charges for the other facilities. I guess I am the.1 percent that didn't get notified. The good news is the proceedure was a success and my insurance paid for part of the $600. The bad news is I am being charged $1800 from LMH for Dr. Davidoff to use their equipment. Melissa and Ashley at the center for sight stated a patient should know about these other charges since it wasn't done in the office. Lenora at center for sight stated she was 99.9% sure Ashley would have told me about these charges.
I NEVER WOULD HAVE HAD BOTH EYES DONE SINCE ONE IS LEGALLY BLIND. I NEVER WOULD HAVE HAD an elective proceedure done until I could afford to pay it. UPDATE according to my insurance company the center for sight billed my insurance provided 1800 for my proceedure i was told only cost $600 without insurance and lmh billed my insurance company 2807. What a mess that I am liable for because of info left out of the consultation with Ashley. I call it bait and switch.

Beware, they charge you $150 extra on a STANDARD eye exam if you have brow ptosis and don't tell you upfront. They just send a bill in the mail. On top of that they will code it as cosmetic so your insurance won't cover it. I can only imagine what other eye conditions causes this ridiculous hidden overcharge.

I went to see Dr. Law because my vision became horrible in what seemed like overnight. I had chronic dry eyes and a few other things wrong. Dr. Law has taken very good care of me and helped me navigate back to better eye health and vision. Dr. Law is willing to look at both traditional and naturopathic means of treatment. I fully recommend him as a great doctor that cares about both the medicine and the patient.

My experience started at the front desk. I had already called to see what all would be needed for my appointment before leaving home. Upon arrival and when filling out paperwork, there was a page stating that most insurance company's don't cover a certain procedure. It said I would be charged $40. To that I replied I didn't have the $40 and that nobody told me of that possibility.
So when telling the receptionist this, she spouted off that it was my responsibility to find out from my insurance company if they covered the procedure. I said I didn't think that was right because how was I to know anything about it. Well after that I asked to talk to her supervisor. The supervisor said she would take care of it. But when asking for the receptionist name I was told they were not required to give me that information. So in conclusion I left without having my appointment and they ask did I want to reschedule. I said never!

The front staff is not welcoming and seem bothered to have to deal with you. They were not willing to tell me over the phone what my insurance would pay and if my insurance would cover the procedure at all. They would not even preauthorize the procedure. What is worse--they tend to run at least 50 minutes behind schedule before you are even called out of the lobby. I will not be returning.

Staff is really friendly, and thorough. The facility is clean, and very nice and updated. Comfortable waiting room, and exam rooms. Only downside is that we have been waiting a long time for the Dr. to come in. It has bee about 25 minutes between the assistant coming in, and the Dr. Dr. Law is very friendly and professional. Very thorough and clear in his explanations for procedures and diseases. Very enjoyable and comfortable to be around.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but they don't make their patients feel individuality cared for. The facility is nice and clean and The examinations are large and comfortable. The worse thing about going here is the wait. While the wait in the lobby wasn't too bad, the actual appointment lasts 1.5-2 hours, most of which is wait time between seeing the assistants and the doctor.
