Forked River Dermatology - Robert Rosen DO

Dr Rosen is very thorough, and seemed genuinely interested in helping me with my skin issues, unlike other doctors I've seen.

I started seeing this doctor a few years back, when my dermatologist of many years retired. He's just OK. I don't have any major skin issues, or major problems with Dr. Rosen; I just need routine checkups and treatment for the occasional Pilar cysts that pop up on my head. Dr. Rosen treated me fine, but the place does feel like a chop shop. Doctor comes in and talks to you for 3-4 minutes, and then runs off to see another patient for the same few minutes, and then moves on to the third or fourth patient before circling back to you.

This is absolutely what's happening considering you can clearly hear him in the adjacent exam rooms. I guess this isn't that big of a deal, but one time he cut a cyst out of my head and left me there to hold the gauze and stop up the bleeding while he moved on to another patient. My last doctor would cauterize immediately, stitch, and send me on my way. I guess everyone does things differently, but when I come here, I feel like I'm getting an oil change.

Excellent dermatologist! Found something on my husband that a different dr. missed. Grateful for that. Nice personality, friendly and listens to your concerns. I would highly recommend.

I brought my brother to see Dr. Rosen today. He is an exceptional doctor. He did not rush and was very compassionate.

Entering the practice, the staff is wonderful and Dr. Rosen, is thorough, experienced and knowledgeable. He is very gentle, encouraging with my 90 year old mother and takes time sharing helpful hints that make age related conditions easier to manage.

Dr. Rosen is in the top 1% of Dermatologists in our country. I am grateful I was referred to him by another doctor who told me, "This could be cancerous. I'm going to refer you to my guy to have it looked at.".The "guy" was Dr. Rosen. He treated and cured it. How do you describe a professional who is the best?

One has total confidence when visiting Dr. Rosen's office - you have all your issues resolved in short time. You are the only one sitting as it is a very, very busy office and staff are totally engaged 100% - the only person sitting is you. If you must wait a bit, there's always a good reason for it and well worth the wait.

Having watched other dermatologists in places we used to live remove/biopsy skin growths from my husband's face, I can say that Dr. Rosen is skilled, gentle and efficient. In addition to Dr. Rosen being an excellent physician, his support staff are also competent and compassionate. The office was clean and organized and easily accessible by wheelchair. Dr. Rosen gave us reasonable options for treatment, taking the time to discuss the pros/cons of each. He listened to our concerns, biopsied the growth, and began treatment that visit. This morning (just two days later) the growth is barely visible.

All aspects of my appt. with Dr. Rosen were excellent. The office staff was kind and attentive and Dr. Rosen was punctual, professional and compassionate. He is very knowledgeable and his plan for treating my condition was right on target. I now live out of state and am hoping to find a dermatologist that I trust just as much as Dr. Rosen.

I and my family go to Dr Rosen regularly. He will even take you in an emergency! I love the staff, I love Dr Rosen. I finally found a Dermatologist that is thorough, but not quick to cut. Understanding and knowledgeable. He treats me like im the only patient. I am never rushed. It took a long time to find Dr Rosen.and im glad we did.

Dr. Robert Rosen and his staff are the best doctors I've ever needed. A few years ago, I had an unlucky streak with my skin--a skin tag on my neck kept breaking, I developed "hot tub folicilitis" after visiting my now late-grandparent's timeshare, and I needed someone to lance what the GP thought was an abscess, but Rosen's staff immediately recognized as a tumor. (Benign, thankfully!) At the time, I didn't have insurance--I was working 4 jobs to pay for my student loans and little else. Dr. Rosen and his team were very accommodating, waving a fee or two, and offering treatment options that were sensitive to risk vs cost.

The rest of his staff was very caring, and quite good at what they do. I also appreciated that they all took the time to explain what they were doing and why, very clearly. I'm very thankful that I had access to treatment when I needed it, because of Dr. Rosen and his staff. If I still lived in the area, he would be my only choice of dermatologist.
