This office is amazing! I've dealt with them since my son was 2 years old and he is now 12. I am grateful for this team. Dr. Gitlin is amazing! Such a professional and caring doctor. He always remembers you and is super sweet to the entire family. He is an excellent surgeon and I throw blessings upon him. May God continue to bless him and his family. The nurses and staff are also amazing. They greet you so warmly and always have a smile on their face. I recommend them 100%.

Very nice staff, clean facility, doctor spent time getting to know my child and asking questions (Dr. Fine) etc. (No complaints) My son has a surgery scheduled for end of June, that's when the real review will come, if I have any changes in how I feel I leave another review, or edit this one, or both! Dr. Horowitz and his staff at Pediatric Urology Associates are exceptional in every single way. We met Dr. Horowitz 7 years ago when we brought our son in for an issue that thankfully turned out to be nothing. However, when another issue arose with our son, we specifically tracked him down because of the fine impression he made on us back then. He is truly an amazing person.
He is professional, caring, honest, and talented. He guided us through this very stressful ordeal and advised us correctly. He did not try to push surgery as a first option but instead gave us the time to explore other avenues of treatment. Once that treatment did not prove as effective as hoped, surgery was advised. Our son has had several surgeries in the past so we were not as open to that option. Dr. Horowitz really advocated from our son's quality of life and through excellent counsel showed us that this really was needed.
We will forever be grateful for him taking the time to explain the pros and cons of our choices because our son's life has improved enormously! He now is just a much happier person with more confidence. Dr. Horowitz continued to be a source of strength for us on the day of the surgery. He visited with us before the surgery and took the time to calm down our very nervous son with humor while patiently answering all of his questions.
He spent time with us after the surgery and even made sure we got to see our son in recovery promptly. Above and beyond! The staff at the New York Presbyterian in Flushing, Queens exceeded our expectations, especially Nurse Anne, who is truly the definition of what a nurse should be. Dr. Horowitz is at the helm of great team of caring professionals from the anesthesiologist to the nurses at the recovery.
It is clear that through his leadership he inspires his team to follow suit. We must also thank April K. for all of the time she spent on the phone with (me in particular)giving support and organizing all of the particulars flawlessly. She is a true professional who clearly takes pride in what she does and treats people with kindness(which can be hard to find these days).
She was an expert troubleshooter and followed through on everything that she promised. April K. is an asset to this practice and deserves many thanks. Finally, I would like to encourage anyone reading this to be safe in knowing that your child couldn't be in better hands. Dr. Horowitz is not only outstanding in his field but more importantly, he is an outstanding human being. We owe him endless thanks.

Words can't truly express how grateful we are for Dr. Horowitz and his staff. We were seeking a second opinion for our newborn daughter who was born with an enlarged kidney. From the minute we met, Dr. Horowitz was kind, patient, and extremely thorough. He took the time to draw out diagrams for us, explaining what he thought was the issue. He answered all of our questions and gave us sound guidance on how we should proceed.
Fast forward eight months and our daughter is like a brand new baby after her kidney procedure in early December, which Dr. Horowitz reassured us was fairly routine. All of our follow up appointments with him have been enjoyable - his office staff are tremendous and we have hardly had to wait to be seen. To show you what a caring person Dr. Horowitz is, he reached out to us on Christmas Day to follow up and see how our daughter was doing. Not only is he a tremendous doctor, he is a tremendous person. We would highly recommend Dr. Horowitz to anyone in need of a pediatric urologist.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Horowitz's since she was 4 months old and she is now 11. He is kind, compassionate and has become a part of our family. When we first met him her kidney was in bad shape. After months of reasoning he convinced us that he could repair her kidney. So said so done and the rest is history. Overall, I love the new office. The staff is very friendly and the set up is amazing. Parking is great and no long wait times.

I needed to find a pediatric urologist quickly so I chose pediatric urology. So happy I made this choice! Upon entering, service and cleanliness was excellent. The sonogram technician was super sweet clear and concise explaining things to my son. Dr. Friedman was excellent and thorough. Great choice. highly recommend!
