Neurological Surgery

I was in pain for months and thank goodness I was referred to Dr. Onesti. The office was professional and Christine was amazing! My treatment plan was discussed in depth and I left with a course of action. Not rushed and overwhelmed like other practices. Excellent experience!

My first visit with Dr. Holtzman was amazing! He took the time to explain my condition in great detail. He also provided me time to ask any questions. He is compassionate, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Amazing office staff, always helpful and kind. Dr. Snyder always takes time to really listen and not only offers his patients options, but takes the time to explain the outcomes of each choice. I have always found Dr Snyder genuinely cares about his patients. I have had multiple surgeries with him and feel comfortable and confident in his surgical skills. His secretary Michelle is always quick to respond to any questions always cheerful and helpful.

Dr. Gaudin is truly a professional and experienced doctor in his practice. I must admit that I was very nervous to undergo my procedure, but with his support and guidance, all went well and I am currently on the road to getting back into life. The entire process was hassle free and I would recommend his expertise to anyone who is seeking to undergo any procedure under his guidance.

My name is Patricia K Mack & I've been a patient of Dr. Stephen Onesti since 2005. He is a fantastic surgeon, a very caring & compassionate doctor. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable as a patient. I'm very pleased that he's my neurosurgeon and trust him implicitly with any surgery he's doing on my back. The spinal cord stimulator he put in my back has worked like a charm since 2006.

Now I need a upgrade to the battery in my stimulator & Dr. Onesti is the only neurosurgeon that I'd want to do my surgery. All of his staff are also top notch & go out of their way to make sure everything is done completely & professionally.

Dr. Michael Brisman was very caring and attentive as always. He answered my questions and made me feel very confident. Julie returned phone calls immediately, and made sure that all my paperwork and approvals were ready when I came for my appointment. Dr. Brisman and Julie are a very professional team and they made it a stress-free experience.

Dr Zachariah George and his Staff have my complete confidence. A bold statement right? Well, Back in 2018 after 10+ years of Spinal Stenosis I was referred to the practice by my brother in law who had surgery done by Dr George's associates. It was actually a second opinion. I knew I needed surgery and wasn't completely happy the first opinion by another practice seems to rush the process.

After a thorough exam Dr George told me what I knew. Surgery was required to relieve pressure on my Spinal Cord. He was honest, made no promises of a miracle recovery and still gave me confidence in his diagnosis and surgical plan. That day though Dr George may very well have saved my life. As a cautionary measure he ordered a view of my Cervical Spine.

Never in my wildest nightmares did I expect the news to follow. Dr George had discovered a severe compression at C3-C6. At minimum a good fall could have unwittingly paralyzed me. A worse outcome could have meant my death. This Cervical Spine Surgery would be the first of three I would have with Dr George. In the end an Anterior Cervical Disc Fusion at C3-C6, Laminectomy and Fusion from L2-S2 and most recently I needed to extend my Cervical Fusion downward to include C7-T1.

I would recommend Dr George to anyone that needed Spinal Surgery. Today I walk, enjoy activities with my children and sleep better. Thank you Dr George. Your Staff and yourself have made my life better

I first came to NSPC and Dr Vaynman for a second opinion. I quickly decided that his thoroughness and care were the what my spine deserved! From Liz greeting me like family, in person and on the phone, to the care and reassurance at every step of Dr Vaynman, I knew I was in the right hands. My care has been fantastic and I knew every day that I was in the hospital, I would see Dr Vaynman. He assembled the perfect team of other physicians to ensure my surgery went as smoothly as humanly possible. I have already referred 4 other people to this office.

Both Dr. Sonstein and Teresa were very attentive to what my needs are. They made sure the listened to me carefully. I felt like they cared. They treated me like a person not just another number in the room. I've seen them respond the same way with other patients as well which is a great feeling

My First Experience with Dr. Sonstein and his assistants Amanda and Theresa was excellent. From my first phone call with Amanda and the confirmation call with Theresa they made me feel welcome and very comfortable. When I got to the visit Theresia took very good care in getting me setup and made me feel that I was in good Hands. Dr. Sonstein was great. Made me feel confident that I was in good hands.

He was very friendly and extremely informative. He took a lot of time getting a good feel for what my issue is. He immediately started to discuss a course of action. I am sure that I will continue to be well taken care of as I proceed along with Dr. Sonstein and his staff.

Needing spine surgery is a very scary proposition. Yes, you are in quite a lot of pain and want it to be gone fast so choosing the right surgeon is an extremely intense and difficult decision to make. As soon as I consulted with Dr. Onesti I knew I was in the right place. He was very patient and took plenty of time to answer all my questions and explain what needed to be done and explain the procedure.

I liked him. By the time my consult was finished I knew I would be in good hands. After the surgery he personally visited me every day while I was in the hospital. I am also grateful to Christine in the office. She is so efficient and busy but always took the time to say a few words to make my call or visit more personal.
