If you are looking for prenatal care, please don't go there. You deserve better. The office staff are horrible and are not on top of their work; they don't want to work and don't expect them to help. They also speak different things and provide misleading information. The office managers are just as bad and don't care about your concerns even when you raise them.
I lost faith on this practice. I had so many bad experiences such as canceling my appointments the day of on multiple occasions to receiving poor care. On a positive note, Dr Karla is nice though and would try to help. But she is very busy. Unless you bring your concerns to her directly, I am not sure how successful you will be at getting your needs met which is not feasible every time.

I recently visited Dr. Ahmad for some suspicious spots and needed cryosurgery. My balance is more than I can pay at once, so I was making payments. Got a call that they want the balance in full. When I said that I couldn't do that, they said they would turn it in to collections. I offered to pay more, but it still wasn't enough. So instead of getting the whole balance owed, they will only get a percentage, and I won't get the dermatological care that I need. Dr. Ahmad is fantastic, which is the only reason they get two stars.

After my midwife moved on to another practice I decided to see Dr. Hinzman so I could get an IUD. (He was the quickest appointment available.) I was originally just going to see him to place the IUD and then find another female doctor, but he actually really impressed me. I have had multiple bad experiences with male doctors and was definitely not looking to see another one. Dr. Hinzman is caring, professional, and had my best interests at heart.
He took my concerns seriously and was good to offer many options for birth control and was knowledgeable about the side effects of each. Long story short, I was not planning to become a permanent patient but he has exceeded my expectations and I will stay with him for as long as he's in the area.

I called this office in order to set up an appointment as a new patient. I was requested to give my social security number, which I said that I was not comfortable doing, and the secretary replied, "We will need it when you check in." I quickly replied that I am not legally required to give them my social security number and she backed down right away.
I requested Dr. Freed, but her first available appointment was four months away. However, the secretary said that a certain doctor could see me sooner but didn't prescribe birth control. I don't necessarily need birth control but it sickened me that doctors can still, now a days, deny women certain services that can alter the course of their lives and health.
I asked if any other doctor in their location could see me sooner and then Dr. Freed could do my annual exam later. The secretary said that once I start seeing a doctor I cannot switch to another. So if I'm unhappy with one doctor in their practice I have to leave and go elsewhere? Based on this tedious back and forth, blatant disregard for patients needs from certain doctors, and not well thought out office management/decisions, I decided to call Genesis Obgyn and got an appointment with a female doctor with only two weeks wait time.

Dr. Hinzman did my hysterectomy in September. He and his staff are absolutely amazing. Dr. Hinzman is very thorough and professional. The care i received was definitely top notch. My surgery and recovery were flawless. Dr. Hinzman definitely cares. I would recommend him to any and everyone. Thanks Dr. Hinzman, you're the best!

Dr Hinzman was my OB provider for my first pregnancy in 2015. As it was my first pregnancy, I was oblivious to what good care was. I constantly had issues with Dr. Justin Hinzman and his staff. During my regular checkups I wasn't given options for testing, such as the gestational diabetic test, I had to demand that I receive this. I also never got tested for cystic fibrosis or the screening for Down syndrome.
At one of my appointments, my exam room was left dirty, with unclean equipment left on the counter from a previous patient. The labor and delivery was horrific. Although my body was ready to push, this doctor advised that I "labor down" until he could come in during his lunch break for his convenience, this caused negative effects on the birth of my daughter.
I was told by this "physician" that I was being dramatic and was yelled at and ridiculed during the birthing process. Dr. Hinzman is a joke and I'd advise anyone to seek other care.

Have seen Dr. Freed after a emergency room visit. Front desk staff are far from friendly and often talking poorly about other patients when I check out. Every time I've seen doctor Freed in the past year she asks me personal questions she's asked me over and over before. I've seen her many times this last year. It'd be helpful if she read a chart instead of acting totally clueless. Whoever deals with collections is also such a treat.
I moved twice in the past few months and have been in and out of the hospital many times this last year which is a first ever for me. I started calling around places I knew I had been last week asking if I had a bill because we have had many issues with our mail since first moving. Vicki said she called 3 times and I should know I had a bill with them.
Sure I should have known but i hadn't received a voicemail and I had $1000s in medical bills this last year which has never happened to me so instead of letting me pay I was going to collections even though there was no mention the week before when I made a $150 payment of me going to collections. Very unprofessional from day one. I have been through a lot this past year and you would think they'd show some compassion instead of saying I should have known I had a bill coming I had many this last year and had issues fighting wit insurance so it was hard to keep up. I was just trying to do the right thing once I knew I had that bill there and pay. WHAT A JOKE

Dr Hinzman has been a great obgyn for my family & I. He delivered my 2 girls & did my yearly exams in between their births. I asked him embarrassing questions & he made me feel more at ease with his answers. Nurses were helpful in person & on the phone. My only complaint is the insurance part of the office. I had to argue & argue with the lady that I didn't need to pay a HUGE pre-labor bill because my insurance covers it. I still give this office 4 stars because every dr's office seems to mess up insurance/billing from my experience.

From day one, I should listened my husband to go see another gynecologist. I had a very bad experience with the front desk room 404 and the Dr. Hinzmann. They aren't professional at all! I wasn't treated like a patient that day, so I left the building as fast as I can. They just want to have the job done that's it. Your worries, questions, etc. they truly do not care. Based on my experiences, I will never ever go back there again. Stay away!
