I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Patel & the staff at SCOS. I wanted to have my mom come in for a consultation regarding severe pain she has been having in her left hand. I was surprised that I was able to book an appt the following week! When we arrived at the facility, we were immediately greeted by someone at the front desk, checked in, & we weren't even sitting down for 5 minutes before Dr. Patel's MA called us back to the room.

They even have imaging on-site & the MA took XRays of my mom's hands. Soon afterwards & without having to wait long again, Dr. Patel comes in & greets himself. He had great bedside manner & gave us 3 different options without necessarily pushing for surgery. In the end, my mom opted for surgery & Dr. Patel assured us that he could get her scheduled within 2 weeks.

The next day, the scheduler called as promised and booked my mom's surgery in 11 days! We were in & out of that office in 40 minutes! They're super efficient & I'm very impressed with them! Being a healthcare provider myself, I'm very familiar with how a clinic should be run and this place deserves a gold star.

Dr. Wong was great to visit for my knee concerns. He makes it easy to communicate with him, and he is a great listener. Also, he was very concerned about the location of the physical therapy center he wanted to have me visit. He didn't want it to be too far from home. I recommend Dr. Wong, and I will continue to see him for my osteopathic needs.

Dr. Kim, Thank you for being the dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate doctor that you are! I feel so blessed to know you and have you as my surgeon. My total knee replacement was easier and smoothest than expected. I'm looking forward to have the second knee replaced by you as well soon. Thank you Dr. Kim! You're the Best!

Dr Montgomery sends his patients text messages asking for 5 star reviews, after not helping you with your problem at all. Useless experience here with 0 positive outcomes. Probably tons of bogus reviews here for this place.

Such a disappointment with this office! We've been trying to contacting the office for weeks and they never call back! Unfortunately I left a voicemail and said I have to get the police involved and they called me back within minutes. Horrible communication with the front office and the doctor. He mentioned my mother in laws knee procedure will be simple and now he went back on his words saying I never said it was easy. If I know how horrible this office would be we never would of brought my mother in law to this office and this doctor.

Like any other practice, after a quick chat, they decided to give me a cortisone injection in my wrist for my wrist injury pain. I felt something off and heard a click noise when I was injected. I am very proactive in asking about any side effects so I asked but was told nothing. After a few weeks, I still have slight pain and I can still feel pain at the injection site and it is almost 6 months now. NOT ONLY THAT, I also developed a white spot (hypopigmentation on my injection site), when I consulted back with this facility and the doctor, I have been told that this is temporary and will resolve in 3 months and will not progress. It's more than 3 months, and the condition is not resolved but it is progressing and following the nerve/vein path (linear hypopigmentation).

I have been MISINFORMED TWICE. Now, I have huge white marks on my hand which is giving me depression, I can't wear polos or short sleeves as people look at my hand with a weird reaction like I am suffering from some skin disease. I can't go to the beach or in direct sun as it can make it worse. They have ruined my life physically and mentally. I am finding a lawyer to file a case on this facility for malpractice and for misinforming me.

Had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Abraham Kim today to schedule a hip replacement surgery in few weeks. Dr. Kim took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns regarding this important procedure. He had worked on my injured knee during the last six months and was extremely helpful with my healing process. I can easily and with clear conscience recommend Dr. Kim to anyone with knee or hip issues. He is a true gentleman. Thanks Shawn Marz an Retired Airline Pilot

This was my 2nd hip replacement. Dr Kim performed an excellent surgery. My recovery time has been incredibly quick and no side effects or additional problems. A very professional practice headed by an excellent surgeon. Highly recommended.

Dr. Jeffrey Wong M.D. Is the best orthopedic surgeon/doctor I have ever been seen by. I have gone through a lot of doctors that did NOT treat me well and left me with huge bruises on both my shoulders and alas by accident I found my Dr. Jeffrey Wong MD who saw me on an emergency basis and he treated me so well that I will NEVER see another orthopedic doctor in my life! He's professional and he has a great sense of humor and I only wish I could give him 10 stars! He's a must see!

Phone service is in dire need of improvement! After waiting over 35 minutes to speak to a scheduling assistant I was placed on hold then disconnected! Did NOT get a call back! Tried calling again only to be informed I was 9th in line and I'm sure it would have been another 30 minutes of waiting! Please resolve your phone service as it is the worst I have ever experienced!

I would recommend SCOS as being very competent, thorough, and friendly. Dr. Kim is straight forward and very informative. I have been apprehensive to do knee replacement and for last year exercised pre-op options. Dr. Kim patiently answered all my questions/concerns and my knee replacement is being scheduled. Now I can move forward in confidence.

Terrible communication and customer service, Lillian Wang is my surgeon's assistant (hip replacement) and does not respond to messages, critical messages, regarding medications and prescriptions she submitted on behalf of my doctor. Final straw, I received a phone call from the hospital at 5:45am (day of procedure) informing me that my surgery time was moved up and I was to be admitted into the OR at 7:00am.

I was also told that I should have been notified by the doctor's office (Lillian Wang) which never happened. In over a week she did not return a single message; if you have to use SCOS beware, you will be very much on your own.

Had a horrendous experience with Dr. Bryce Johnson at SOCS South County Orthopedic Specialists in Laguna Woods Ca. 949 586-3200 * Dr. Bryce Johnson is Arrogant = No warmth, empathy pre surgery & post surgery. * It took Dr. Johnson about 2 or 3 Hrs. to call me for surgery outcome he must have rushed out of the hospital after surgery thinking only of himself.

One wonders what took him so long to call for surgery outcome! * My husband woke up from surgery in excruciating back pain Dr. Johnson blamed the nurses for his severe pain instead of addressing the urgent matter at hand. The nurses called Dr. Johnson and I requested he return back to the hospital to assess the pain or admit him in the hospital Dr. Johnson REFUSED! = No compassion he sounded like we were interrupting his evening! * Dr. Johnson insisted on rushing my husband out of the hospital and discharging him after surgery even though my husband was in severe pain even the nurses on the floor agreed that my husband was not in any condition to be sent home. * He has no regard for suffering patients he's too busy glorifying himself. * Dr. Johnson finally agreed to admit my husband in the hospital after I told him I would call 911 and I would have him admitted to a different hospital. * My husband still has back pain months after surgery and Dr. Johnson refused to continue his disability benefits so he's going to work part time with back pain.

Bottom line NO I would not recommend my family friends or enemies if I had any enemies, this Dr. is very arrogant, and you are just another number to him don't trust him with your health/ life. Get over yourself Bryce Johnson you need a higher power to strip from absolutely everything. Disgusted!

First time visiting this place and was seen by Dr. J. Wong, the staff and doctor was great and I will go back if need be. First time I had a good night sleep with the medication he prescribed. He explained my results to me for which I understood and I had his full attention, same with his staff. I would recommend SCOS Orthopedic Specialists office to everyone.

I was unfortunate enough to tear my right rotator cuff and Right Bicep. The rotator ligament was fixed by Dr. Ari. He specializes in shoulders. This was my second surgery on this rotator cuff the ligaments were tearing prior to the complete tear. I was told I have arthritis in both shoulders. I consulted two other orthopedic surgeons. The two other surgeons said that had to do a complete replacement.

Thank goodness I found Dr. Ari. He said he was confident he could die the repair without replacing my shoulder. I am pleased to tell you my surgery was on 10-4-2021. Yes it was extremely painful, I went to rehab 8 weeks out and have had complete movement in all directions in my shoulder and arm. My son had the same surgery done by Dr. Ari 2 months prior to my surgery and he is fully healed and has completed use of his arm and shoulder. Thank You just doesn't seem to be enough for Dr.'s that are as talented as he is. His staff and his training team were all very professional.

Dr. Wong has been an excellent and very compassionate Orthopedic M.D. He is always "straight to the point" with me and I like that. He is also an Orthopedic Surgeon, that doesn't mean he rushes to use the knife. He gives very good options a patient can make a very informed decision about their care and Dr. Wong can be trusted and he follows thru with the care he gives. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Wong to family and friends. knowing Dr. Wong will give the excellent care to them they may need.

Great facility. Got through my x-rays and appt quickly. Short wait to see Dr. Bryce Johnson. He reviewed my x-rays, evaluated me and ultimately decided physical therapy was my best option. He was kind, professional and answered all my questions.

This facility has the worst ever appointment schedule service I have seen in my life, after long waiting time then requesting call back they called me and put me on hold for very long time, then I lost the line!?. and tried over and over to call again, every time over 30, then 42,. minutes on waiting to take my call. while continuing to hear that will be after 5 more minutes. Seems that they set unlimited waiting time after you reach the count down to 5 minutes.

I was very impressed with Dr. Kim. He is young and seems to know what he is talking about. He asked me some questions took a look at my hip movement and then showed me the MRI. He then pointed out the difference from my sore right hip to my other hip. Then he asked me some more questions and then gave me some options on things that we can try and see if they will work for me. He is suggesting alternatives at this time instead of going right to hip surgery. Which I like very much.

Dr. Wong was very professional and took time to look at my imaging and assess my thoroughly. As a physical therapist myself, I was impressed with the quality of work and care for their patients. He even called me on his lunch break after reviewing my images again to discuss what steps to take moving forward. Overall it was a great experience and very helpful.

The staff in the front office are not helpful at all. It's as if they can't be bothered with your questions. Tried to set up patient portal and was told they just make appointments and don't have knowledge about that subject. Have called to reach surgery scheduler several times with no call back. Very disappointed in the service of this office

Referred here from my primary HMO physician due to bike accident. There was some miscommunication as to bringing records from the hospital. I initially was told to bring them with me to the appointment, but received a call at 2pm the day before the appointment that unless I brought them to their office by 5pm, my appointment would be cancelled. This caused me to have to immediately leave work and drive from work to home to their location (30 miles).

When I dropped off the records, I was asked to refill out the forms I did online (I was asked if I printed the forms I completed on their portal - again more miscommunication). So I completed the forms while waiting for them to copy my records from the hospital. When I returned the next day for my appointment, I checked in, got more x-rays done of my neck, then went to room, got interviewed by nurse, then the doctor did a couple of strength checks and told me to remove my neck brace and go (I had been wearing it for 3 weeks).

The entire time spent at this place on Day 2 was less than 20 minutes, which was about 10 minutes more than filling out and dropping off records. The place is very busy and seems to have an army of doctors and specialists. Even with the amount of patients that are waiting for services, it does seem to move quickly. Dr Bryce Johnson was very professional, personal and answered all of my questions. I appreciated the short exam and feedback during my appt.

BEWARE you will get a huge bill, they won't submit to insurance and will never get back to you Wow Samantha at the front could give less of a crap about you, as does most of this staff. Everyone was extremely cold and robotic and wanted you to get out as soon as possible. One star as Samantha screwed up never sent my insurance card info in to billing and now I've wasted 5 hours of my time so far getting a erraneous bill fixed. Scos your billing is erraneous and terrible Dr youderian spent 3 min with me and I got a bill for $450. Scos you guys call me incessantly when it's time to make money from my MRI but don't call me back when you screwed up on billing.

Ashley Lugo is the worst front desk employee/scheduler, who purposely goes out of her way to make things difficult for patients. I saw Dr. Johnson previously, and he referred me to another doctor in the office. She argued with me that they do not do appts from car accidents, or if I had a lawyer. I had a consultation (NOT retained one) and the idiot argued with me that was the same thing. No, stupid.

It isn't. She then refused to make an appt for me, then she even called billing to get them to bill car insurance instead of health insurance (even though I told her to leave it as is!). Spoke to billing and cleared it up in two minutes. I requested a supervisor call me to talk more about this behavior from Ashley. She apparently likes to pick fights and argue with patients. She's an imbecile.

When I asked for her name, she only reluctantly gave me her first name, then when I pressed, she gave me her last initial. Someone else in the office said she was supposed to tell me her whole name if I asked. She tried to make billing a nightmare for me for no reason. Fire this moron. She has no business dealing with/arguing with/making things difficult for patients. Because of her actions alone, I will not return nor recommend any SCOS locations.

If I could give this facility zero stars I would. I was treated by medical dr in the Er after a traumatic accident. My follow up appts with the Dr were in this facility. Two weeks into my treatment the office staff cancelled all my appointments claiming I was in a legal lien- which was incorrect. When I called and email the office (about 5x) to clarify the situation - I was ghosted - no return phone calls/emails.

I suffered in excruciating pain while trying to find a new doctor for the appointments that were cancelled. I have excellent health insurance which covered all my visits- so their excuse to cancel is unwarranted. Not sure what their mission is at this clinic, but it has nothing to do with patient care. This is the most unprofessional medical office I have ever been to.

I suffered in pain while I was trying to find a new doctor. SCOS is a disgrace to to medical community. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Never have I been refused care and to do that when a patient needs you the most is so degrading. The good news -I finally found a clinic that strives to help their patients and cares for their well being.i am under better care now and am treated as a patient should be treated.

I have seen Dr. Veneziano for pain in both of my shoulders. I really feel like he listens and tries to treat my pain as conservatively as possible without jumping right to surgery. I've had to had MRIs on both shoulders and had no problem getting them scheduled quickly, even with the hassle of having to deal with an HMO for authorizations. I hope I don't ultimately need surgery, but if I do, I'm confident that Dr. V will be able to help me!

Avoid this place like the plague! Dr. Graham. I was referred to SCOS by my PCP following a skiing accident that resulted in tears of both calves. At my appointment, Doctor Graham, asked what happened, and then glanced at my leg and remarked, "Doesn't seem to be much bruising, you need to get out of that wheelchair and start walking. Muscles need to be moved." I told him the entire back of both calves was bruised, to which he responded, "It's hard to tell, the lighting isn't very good in here". Seriously?!

Here I am terrible pain, trying to get a correct diagnosis, and this man wouldn't even both to take a look. I told him I was concerned about further injury since I was only six days from the accident. He blithely dismissed my concerns, and confirmed his recommendation to start using crutches. He also suggested I have an ultrasound, but their machine was inoperable so I was referred to the Saddleback Hospital ER. How's that for convenient?

With that Dr. Graham left the room, all in under 5 minutes! How's that for gathering information to form a diagnosis? Well can let the results speak for themselves. In fit of stupidity I attempted to follow through on Drs. Orders, and use crutches once I arrived home. The pain was unbearable, and after 5 minutes of hobbling around, the pain broke me and I fell.

I have been virtually bedridden since, with terrible pain in both legs. This was all on Friday. This pics below are from Monday. You tell me, do you think I should be trying to "walk it off"?

Dr. Patel is knowledgeable and personable. I have seen him twice and will continue being his patient. He takes his time, explains, listens, and answers questions thoroughly. The office staff makes the check-in procedure quick and easy and the medical technicians are speedy but very efficient. I highly recommend SCOS Orthopedic Specialists!

Dr. Moskow check-in- PROMPT called back before I had a chance to sit down. Diagnosis quick Treatment done on same visit Felt better within a few days.

This place is TOTAL garbage. I waited a full 50 min past my appointment to see the dr. People are busy and dont want to hang out in your lobby during this pandemic! Stop double booking the doctors! 2. I have a national brand insurance, but apparently this place just merge with another center and made me become a CASH patient. so there goes $1k. 3. Receptionist is SUPER rude! Go somewhere else if you can. Also they have signed sports posters who have accused sexual assaults'. LAME
