This place has some very unprofessional and un knowledgeable staff. I called to inquire information on my wife who was transferred there overnight via ambulance and they referred me to a gentleman in the ER and he said she's asleep she's probably tired. I didn't find anything useful or amusing in that. We call due to the COVID policies they have. For someone to be so lazy and ignorant to make such little effort in providing us with adequate information inregards to a loved one is literally uncalled for and I do not think if it was his family in the hospital that he will be content with an answer like that.
I know we bug sometimes but trust me if there weren't any COVID policies I'd still be in there with her till she woke up. Please be more mindful and considerate towards us and our loved ones.

We had a very good experience at this ER and medical center due to the fact our daughter had a severe asthma attack on Christmas Eve. Due to the severity of lack of oxygen they assessed her and had her start treatment within 20 to 30 minutes after we arrived. We felt like the assessment and check-in were super quick and we thought staff were thorough, efficient, and professional.
We are so grateful to the staff, nurses, and doctors that were available on Christmas Eve to treat and care for our daughter. Our daughter was admitted into the medical center overnight and again they were thorough and professional, making sure she was OK before discharge on a holiday. If the Coalinga Regional Medical Center were not reopened, who knows how dangerous this situation could have gotten. What a blessing the staff at this facility are!

The nurse Brook was very sweet and helpful - she gets stars. The doctor and other staff were rude and don't have any compassion. It was an emergency so I had to take my friend there for an urgent medical condition and was treated poorly even though there were hardly any patients. The whole experience was really stressful and frankly, sad.

The staff is very rude and unprofessional. I dropped my husband off he had a bad cut. They made jokes about my husband calling me saying "Hey I'm still alive" and making jokes saying that I left to go home and sell his things. Actually, my grandmother can't walk, my children needed to be put down for bed! Ultimately, my husband ended up leaving abruptly, because the insensitive jokes became overwhelming. When I called the hospital to see where he was the lady, Jaime, I believe her name was, wasn't helpful and was just laughing that I couldn't find my husband.

Worst hospital I ever been too the dr and the nurses are rude as hell dont give you the chance to tell them what hurts or what's the matter tent to criticize you on how you look! Instead of helping with the problem they seem to not care at all! At the end of my visit in the Er No problem was solved because apparently there was nothing wrong!

The recent trip was pretty average, they did blood work, stool sample and x-rays for my little brother. He didn't checked him throughly and only said he had a viral infection. In mid April 2017, the doctor didn't give him shots for his non-stop fever and nausea since this past Wednesday night. Instead they gave him pills of Tylenol and he had trouble swallowing them.
They thought that my little brother was 13 or 14 and that is why they gave him pills but he isn't even a decade old! Other doctors in this hospital would help him feel better right away! The rural health clinic they have is not worth going to either! They diagnosed him with acute pharyngitis and they didn't give him an antibiotic. The nurse that attended my little brother in the rural health clinic seemed like she wanted to be somewhere else.
On November 26, 2016, I felt like that Dr. Michelle Thomas misdiagnosed me with a UTI. I feel like I didn't had no symptoms of a UTI. I did like the fact that she was a friendly doctor and she gave me a liquid dose of pink antibiotic in the hospital. I went there with stomach issues not urinary tract issues. The lab area technicians are very friendly, that is the only good thing about this hospital! One of the x-ray workers are very rude.

I would give this disgrace of a hospital a minus 100 if I could. I revived my wife and 3 hours later they discharge her! But it gets better. The ambulance took 20 minutes to get here. Instead 2 ignorant Coalinga officers came into our home and just stood over my unresponsive wife and did nothing. Then the pig told us to go to the hospital which we did and for NO reason the hospital told me and my 2 teenage daughters to leave.
Then the sorry sack of a pig shows up and makes us walk 5 miles home when he could see I had a hernia the size of a baseball. I wouldn't let these jackasses treat a dog I didn't like. Tim Coltrain

The staff is rude. The doctor sat outside the room on computer for an hour before my brother was even seen. They have plenty of staff but no one is attending to patients. When you try to get anwsers they simply respond rudely. There needs to be some sort of change. If you have an emergency make the drive to hanford. it may take longer but the quality of care will be better than here.
