Avoid like the plague! Read other recent reviews. This place is horrible. I have not seen this bad of customer service in a long time. Total rude wenches work at the Trancas location. I ended up demanding a full refund based on how I was treated. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Somewhere that will value you as a customer.

Facility is laid out nicely. Appointments are booked so that there is no overcrowding in waiting area. Staff is pleasant and professional. MD's are top notch and thorough. Explain everything and answer questions and concerns. I had cataract surgery on both eyes and could not be more pleased with the outcomes and aftercare. Highly recommend this business. I live in Vallejo and have used local eyecare facilities and they do not compare to this one in any area of treatment. It is worth the drive.

Dr Kim does not encourage questions nor does he answer adequately. He became extremely agitated and argumentative when I needed information about a procedure he wanted to do. I did not return and subsequently discovered the procedure had an extremely slim chance of success. You must not stop advocating on your behalf.

I like the office and the doctor's. But, The scheduling is horrific. You will wait anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour past your appointment time before you get in to see the doctor. This is an ongoing issue, so it is part of their culture. I'm going try talking with the office manager to see if this can be rectified. So I will let you know. It's a shame because the office is great and doctor Row is great doctor. You know there is a problem when you see a sign that says " if it is twenty minutes past your appointment time let the staff know."

DO NOT go here if you are a patient that does not need surgery! They will not help you if you need assistance after hours if you are a non-surgery patient. So if you have a chronic condition that needs monitoring, I beg you to look elsewhere for care. I have recurrent iritis and have seen Dr. Kim who prescribed durezol. My prescription lapsed and I ended up with a bad flare over Labor Day weekend. Today, I called the after hours line, on the very day I developed the flare. Iritis can develop very fast and can lead to a very painful condition that can threaten your eyesight.

I spoke to a very rude woman who told me that they only provide after hours assistance for post operative patients and she was sorry that I had waited so long to get assistance. Then she hung up on me when I said that I had developed this condition today. She hung up on me! I had already tried urgent care today and they said they cannot help me because they do not have the equipment you can get at an ophthalmology clinic.

That is exactly what the ER has told me in the past when this happened before so I'm not going that route again. I'm stuck. Please find someplace else to go. This is not right.

I've been going to the eye care center for several years now. They have excellent service and I feel very taken care of. They have lots of wonderful glass frames and take their time to assist you in finding the right glasses and add-ones like progressive tinting. During this COVID 19 scare they have done a great job of screening before entering and showing they are disinfecting.

They take your temp before entering and have you sanitize your hands with hand sanitizer they provide upon entry. They have plexiglass for customer service and signs everywhere. Great job Eye Care Center of the Napa Valley!

I called this morning regarding about my doctor release letter and left a message after lunch time Suzanne called me telling I can pick up without mentioning where to pick it up and she will be there till 2pm, the door will be lock and just knock on the door and she will open it. I lived close by the American Canyon and I went there first now I've checked the number that was called me and it was in Napa.

Now I am here 15 min to 2PM and she is not even here. Talking about working in medical field and professionalism I think she is not in a right track. If I could give negative star which is not in selection I would in a heart beat.

So very appreciative for the immediate and excellent care I received. I was visiting from out of town what I had a sudden vision change. The staff were able to offer me an immediate appointment from the referring optometrist. Dr Kim and Dr Paul's thorough history and exam were able to establish a rare diagnosis. With eye drops and follow up exam with Dr. Beller my vision was back to baseline the next day. Thanks to all the great team at Eye center Napa!

This place was a huge mistake. This business needs to take responsibility for its errors. Zero reasonably priced frames. When glasses are made wrong that is not the customers fault. Yet, the way I was treated was ridiculous. Your return policy should be different when the product sold is wrong.

I was really disappointed when I went in to pick out a frame for my new glasses. The lady had no input as to what frame style u should choose for my face shape and I felt most of the frames looked like an old librarian. There was nothing youthful or cute, I'm 60 not 80. I want to look nice.

I care center of Napa Is the best I care Center. My husband Abe, has been going there for a few years now and Dr. Bellar Really cares about his patients. Hey knows you on a personal level and he does everything in his power to make sure that you get the best treatment and care. He goes the extra mile to make sure that your insurance covers your Procedures.

He is kind and Knowledgeable, And so is his staff. My husband is so happy that he has doctor Beller to care for him. Says curiously if you want a doctor that Really takes care of you I suggest you try the eye care center

Dr. Kim was referred to me and I have nothing against him because he is a great doctor. He was helpful and answered all my questions and was very nice. My issue with this place are the staff at the front desk and whoever is managing this place. My appointment was at 3:25 and I was still waiting at 4:15 and to wait for almost an hour is ridiculous and very rude.

I left early from work just so I can make my appointment and the least they could've gone was to apologize. So I got up and told one of the front desk staff that I'm cancelling my appointment and my survey and all her response was. I will let Gracie know. This place was a big disappointment and I will not recommend this place at all!

I took my daughter to Dr. Row for LAZIK surgery. I will admit that with some of the yelp comments I was a bit on guard with the office staff. Although extremely busy, they were always very nice and very professional. Everything went great and she is progressing beautifully. I will add that she was quite uncomfortable the first few hours but the medicine helped so very much. Both my daughter and I are very very happy with the procedure, the facilities and certainly the staff.

I have a fairly rare eye condition and when I moved to Napa I was concerned that I would not find a knowledgeable doctor to take over my care. My primary referred me to Dr Row and my concerns went right out the window. He was ON IT! He also discovered cataracts and scarring from my condition that had to be removed. Piece of cake! Also shout out to Gracie the surgical coordinator. She's a gem.

Dr. Row has been my ophthalmologist for at least 6 years. He was in Concord for my first cataract surgery. He did such a fantastic job that I decided to continue with him even though he is in Napa and I must drive from Antioch. I feel like I am in the best place for my eye care. I will continue with Dr. Row for as long as I can get to his office. Cataracts are never fun but when they come while in your forties- it can be scary. Dr. Row took the best care of me and continues to provide superior care to this day!

Dr's are Great. Front office staff is Fantastic. Especially Gracie G. One of the friendliest places in the Napa Valley. Next time you need your eyes checked I recommend you try here first!

The perks of this place are it's convenient location, office cleanliness, and straightforwardness of the doctors (I've seen dr. Kim and dr. Roe). The downsides are the office staff's general attitude, the wait times, and the arrogance of certain doctors. The front desk is attended by receptionists who don't seem to notice when a client is waiting to check in right in front of them, and who don't know it's rude to not greet clients and put away their phones and whatever else they are doing at the time.

I feel like as a patient, my time wasn't respected- with doctors often running way behind schedule. And the general flippant attitude of some of the doctors makes me wonder why I bothered coming here at all. I'll look for something else next time.

To start with I've come here many of times and have the same receptionist check me in. With that said I can say that she has no personality and seems to be more bothered by customers coming in and interrupting her phone conversation in Spanish with nothing to do with work. I've worked customer service for many years and this is unreal and rude. You're here to serve us.

After you're done with us customers don't stare at us like we know what's next, let us know we can now take a seat. It's pretty simple it's called people skills. This will be the last time myself, my wife and daughter come here. Note to this company check on your staff every so often for customer retention and reapect.

I've been complaining about my health and it's literally shut me in for over the last 18 mos. I've been very depressed, suffering from constant fatigue and did not realize what was going on with my body. I've been suffering from a severe stiff neck for a year old now and an episode of blindness. I went to the Eye Care Center last week for a general eye exam.

I wanted to know what's happening with a vision impairment I suffered during an August blinding episode. I thought it was a by-product of a pinched nerve that was giving me a stiff neck. Dr Beller discussed my recent neck and general health history, looked over their eye test results and subsequently ordered a blood test. The following Wednesday I went back for a blood test reading (the blood test confirmed his suspensions) and he was able to produce a prognosis.

He made arrangements for me to see Dr Abbass, Rheumatology. Doctor Beller prescribed Prednisone (a steroid), which I picked up Wednesday after I left his office. I saw Dr Khurram Abbass Thursday and he concurred Dr Bellers prognosis. Dr Abbass ordered more blood test and gave me a shopping list of drugs and supplements I'll be using for treatment and made immediate arrangements for a surgical temporal artery biopsy with Dr Loftus the very next Mondy. Dr Beller's astute attention to my symptoms has saved my life. This is a man who can make a difference. God bless him for his service.

I found staff to be efficient, highly capable and caring. The selection of frames is better than I have found in other locations. Dr. Row performed my cataract surgeries and I have had great results. Dr. Row and Dr. Kerr have been my eye care specialists for over 10 years.

This review is solely aimed towards Dr. Egan who is a visiting neuro opthalmologist at the center. I want to say that Dr. Kim who I've also seen is amazing, kind, and wonderful! Seriously, Dr. Kim is A+! For Dr. Egan my last visit with him left me so uncomfortable and furious. A few months back he had me start on topamax as a way to assist with my weight to help with my pseudo tumor diagnosis.

I did and after a week I doubled the dose per his instructions and within days was so out of my mind that I had to take immediate leave from work and be watched over by friends and family as I had become suicidal and had started to harm myself. A state of mind I haven't been in for over two years. One of my other doctors had me stop taking it and after a few weeks I was much better although still emotionally unstable.

It took a month before I was able to return to work. The next appointment with Dr. Egan I told him how I stopped taking the topamax because it made me want to kill myself and without even looking at me he responds simply with "Well that's a good reason to stop." Seriously? He didn't say anything else about it or even show a hint of concern!

It made me feel like I wasn't even a person just some faceless patient he was stuck dealing with and doesn't really have time for. I have never felt so uncared about by a doctor of any kind before until him. Because of this I had my neurologist refer me to the team at UCSF as I'd rather miss a day of work and drive from Napa into the city than deal with Dr. Egan ever again!

I love My Dr. Dr. Row he is awesome. The scheduling to go to the hospital is messed up. I got 3 different times due to they say cancellations an this happened both times on my eye surgery. Maybe it's not a big deal, but when you have to find a ride to go the hospital an that person has to drop everything to help you out it would be nice to have a certain time.

I would suggest don't give them a time at your office, just give the patient the ext. to the hospital to call the day before to verify it. Forget all the emails that are confusing since they keep changing. Otherwise I have no complaints the surgery went smooth an I am so thrilled with my new eyesight. Thank you DR. Row.
