Amazing! Dr. Kim is absolutely knowledgeable and amazing at what she does. I always though eye doctors would just go with what you tell them and never made any helpful suggestions or discovery (not that you ever want to hear that) but I feel like Dr. Kim was so spot on on everything she said and I truly appreciate her suggestions. Thank you, Dr. Kim. Please continue doing what you do!

There is something special about this group from the front desk staff, to Dr. Rob, and the assistance in selecting frames. Their approach to eye care is thorough and complete, unlike many average or discount providers. I left feeling heard, informed, and with a greater appreciation for the care Family Vision Center provided.

Shortly after my first visit I started receiving spam emails from Warby Parker. Obviously they sold my email to another company and it is impossible to unsubscribe from the emails. The office also seems much more geared towards meeting metrics (clients in and out, frames sold, etc.) than my personal well being and experience.

I have worn glasses for half my life. Until I found Family Vision Center, it was an unhappy part of my life. The staff there is wonderful, professional, and accommodating. Dr. Loree is great and truly cares about the health of my eyes. Heather in the optical department is a saint. I am a hard customer to deal with and she does it with a smile. She takes as much time with me as I need, standing dutifully by as I try on 172 pairs of glasses.
I cannot speak highly enough about FVC. I actually moved about 45 minutes south of there and have no plans of changing doctors. When you find a good one, with a good staff, hang on tight.

When your looking for a new eye doctor and the office doesn't even take phone calls, unable to get anyone on the phone to answer simple questions or make an appointment. It doesn't make you feel warm and fuzzy when a simple task of taking phone calls for your business cannot be accomplished. Guess I'm still on the hunt for a new eye doctor!

!AVOID! Dishonest. Lack of integrity. Lack of communication. Lack of accountability. I have never met such a dishonest practice. It is so disheartening. This practice need some serious help. The funny thing here is, they were throwing each other under the bus. This is what I mean when they seriously WILL NOT hold themselves accountable. They just like to point fingers at each other.
I use to be in the field for 13 years. I have never treated a patient the way I was treated at this practice. I should've "listened" to those other not-so-great reviews you see about this place. Those were real red flags and should not be taken lightly. If you HAVE to go to this place, here's my advise after a daunting experience: 1. Know exactly what you are covered, if you're using insurance, because front desk has no clue.
One of many examples: Dr had told their staff to remove the discount, even though it was part of my coverage. This was all to make me pay more. 2. If you get a quote, I would have them write it down, sign and initial. Cover your butt. They will deny everything they ever said. Just FYI, I have worn the same (monthly) contacts for over 2 months because I refuse to pay an overcharged balance due to the doctor's request to upcharge (as per front desk); therefore, I am unable to obtain my Prescription to order contacts.
I had to get VSP insurance involved to help me settle this but had to wait until the Dr came back from the holidays. VSP has helped me settle this fairly. I have my prescription now and will never, ever do business with this practice. EVER.

This clinic is amazing! Dr. Kim Tran performed my eye exam and prescribed my contacts and glasses. When I had them checked, I was able to achieve the best vision I have ever had in my life and that is not an exaggeration. The staff at the clinic were all so helpful and ensured that I was comfortable with my new vision aids. I will be back again for my annual checkup.

Although I was not a current a patient here, I called on Christmas Eve day when my normal optometrist was closed and was experiencing eye irritation. The receptionist was very helpful and able to squeeze me in to see Dr. Tran. Dr. Tran was attentive, knowledgeable, and quickly helped diagnose the issue. Overall the experience was above and beyond and I will be returning for my future care!

My first visit to this office was great. Dr. Kim Tran was exceptional. During the eye exam she was very informative and answered questions about the process and my results. Booking an appointment was easy. I can't wait to get back the custom made glasses I picked out. I'll be back at least once a year!

Outstanding service and environment. They called me with option to come in early. They took several extra steps to find me best price and locate my insurance (had to talk with provider on my behalf). Very efficient exam with top end technology. Friendly and well educated staff. Beautiful lobby that feels more like a spa. Staff were so great I suggested to doc he needs to get a day of massage chair therapy for team! My entire family will happily continue services at this location.

I went and visited this doctor back in October. I was having trouble seeing out of one of my eyes and the vision in my other eye was fine he checked me out and wrote me a prescription for the eyes that I was seeing just fine of -1.50. I told him that I could no longer seeing it was making me very dizzy. His office staff reassured me and told me it would get better.
They also tried to sell me the wrong glasses for reading. Two weeks later I went back and I let him know againThat I could not see out of that eye and he told me that it was because my other Eye had a astigmatism and that's why it seemed much worse. I've been dealing with this since last October. Today I went to a very trusted eye doctor had my vision checked and IN the right eye I see 2025 it's the eye that Dr. Wagner insisted that I was -1.50.
Surprise surprise no stigmatism Either. I am a nurse and if I talk to my patients the way he spoke to me and insisted things that weren't accurate about their health I would be out a job. I found that this place was a big racket they charged a lot of money and I felt like they were idiots. Run to a qualified professional

DO NOT GO HERE! They only care about money and not their patients! I needed a new replacement lens and it's been nearly 6 weeks and when I called and went in today, they had no clue! I have a voicemail from Daniel on 7/23/19 when it is now 8/28/19 stating my lens should be in any day yet they have no recollection! They didn't take any fault for this, it's disgusting!
I will be going to the BBB and all medical vision boards about this. All they had to say was "well you didn't get charged" didn't even offer me a solution when he said my insurance was charged! It's terrible and I demand to speak with the owner! This is going to cost you a lot more than what it cost me!

Dealing with severe eye inflammation and irritation this morning and not being close to my regular Dr. I reached out to the Family Vision Center. I was elated when they said they could get me in immediately for an evaluation. The staff was awesome, very professional showing empathy along with a little humor. I was given a full medical evaluation and a sample lubricant drop to help calm my eyes.
Since I am a contact wearer (no glasses) they were able to build a pair of glasses onsite for me(contacts today not an option )Thank you Family Vision Center you made my day!

I arrived at my appointment one hour early, by choice, not expecting to be seen early. Many times over I was apologized to for not being able to be seen early. I felt very well cared for just sitting in the waiting room for an hour as everyone assured me I'd be seen as soon as possible. The sweetest part of my day was when Heather brought me a gift card to Starbucks to go use while I waited, little did she know I didn't have time to grab dinner between my doctor appointment and my next meeting, so that gift card saved me! Kara spent a good amount of time getting to know me and we talked like we had been friends for years. I've worked in medical and know it's easier to stay on schedule if you just get in, do your job, and get out. But she knows the value of personal connection. I have been coming here for 3 years now and this was by far my best visit.

Wow. Where do I start. I called to see if they took my insurance, they said yes. I needed an appointment, they had nothing available for over three weeks. I waited. The day before my appointment finally arrived, they called and said my insurance was out of network and I would have to pay out of pocket, and cancelled my appointment when I said no I wasn't a going to pay out of pocket.
So called my insurance, they said no, they are in network. The insurance company called them and after a few minutes, they said it was sorted out. So I called to verify my appointment was still on. They said no I would have to book a new one and wait another 3 weeks. So i said forget this! I tried to book an appointment at another place and found out these people now had a hold on my insurance! Spent an hour on the phone with my insurance getting that cleared. WORST experience. I went to Flatirons Vision, was seen the next day, great doctor! Unless you enjoy waiting a month and getting the run around, I don't recommend this place.

Not a good review. I was a patient with Family Vision for a long time. I received okay care and they did go out of their way to help me with eye trauma I suffered from an accident. HOWEVER, they charged me a $30 co-pay for EVERY visit even when I asked for some relief. This cost me $210.00 plus out-of-pocket! I have since switched to another eye care provider and they haven't charged me one dime for 4 visits and their care is EXCELLENT!
Also it took at least 3 appointments for them to get my contact prescription right which also charged a co-pay. And the quality of the contacts was not stellar either as they kept tearing. The glasses and lenses are overpriced too so I got my progressive lenses and frames elsewhere. They are way over priced for what you get!

I had a good experience during my apt at this practice with Dr. Wagner, for a prescription for contact lenses. Those prescriptions are supposed to be good for 12 months, however when I went to order additional contact lenses 10 months into my prescription (with it being still valid), the office blocked my order and told the provider that my prescription was not valid.
After getting on the phone they acknowledged my prescription is still valid but continue to limit my ability to order lenses without another eye exam. Other practices haven't put up that barrier for me in the past. I'll try elsewhere for my eye exam next time with someone who can provide me additional flexibility

The office staff and the doctor were friendly and professional enough however, it was a terrible purchasing experience. Ordered top of the line, progressive lenses that took two weeks to come in. They didn't work, no focus. The manager checked the lenses and they were ordered correctly based on what was in the computer. Had to wait for the doctor again where we discovered that the doctor had entered the prescription incorrectly in his computer.
The doctor then reentered the script and we reordered the lenses. At this point I'm being graceful and assuming anyone can make a mistake so lets go with it and remake the lenses. Two more weeks go by and the lenses are ready and the new lenses are not correct either (why? I don't know). No focus point at all in the reading area of the lenses, again. So, I'm a month in to this and I ask for a refund, where I'm told I am only able to be refunded 75% of my $900.00 lens purchase because it is considered a return.
I never accepted or left the store with the lenses because they were defective, so how is this a return? Apparently it is their "return" policy on the back of the receipt. This was never pointed out to me at the point of purchase. Also, if a second remake of defective lenses is made, NO refund at all (I would hate to be that lucky guy). So, I took the 75% and now I'm out over $200.00 for a defective product that I never took possession of.
In my opinion, this is an unfair business practice and puts the burden of a defective product on the consumer. I cancelled all future appointments, will find a new eye doctor and will tell anyone who will listen not to go to Family Vision Center.

We've gone to Family Vision Center a couple of years now, and we're very happy with their services. Wait times for visits are generally pretty short, and it's not hard to get an appointment. All the doctors and staff have always been friendly, patient, and helpful. They're good with both adults and kids. WRT contacts, they've been uncommonly skilled with my husband's specialized contact lenses for his astigmatism.
With previous eye doctors, we've always had to go back and forth a few times to get the lenses half-way right, but so far they've been pretty good at getting the prescription spot-on the first time. WRT eyeglasses, we've had mixed but overall good experiences. With our daughter, they didn't try to push glasses on her before she truly needed them. Lens quality has always been excellent.
They don't have the largest selection of frames, but they will write you a prescription so you can go elsewhere. We recently bought some glasses and were later disappointed in them (partly because we should have done more homework before picking frames), but they redid the glasses for us in another frame, charging us only the difference in the frame cost since we opted for a better-quality frame the second time around. We were extremely relieved that they had a policy in place for this sort of situation.

Saturday hours! optometrists who really care about you! staff who take the time to politely explain the outrageous cost of eyewear and contact lenses! family vision center has it all. i would agree with previous reviews about the limited selection of frames - especially on the low-cost end of the spectrum. but the selection they do have is of high quality - and, therefore, high cost. but if you get your frames elsewhere, DEFINITELY come here for the exam!
