Desert Foot & Ankle offers a full array of podiatric services to help you maintain healthy feet. Ankle sprains are caused by an unnatural twisting or force on the ankle bones of the foot, often resulting in one or more ligaments on the outside of the ankle to be stretched or torn. If not properly treated, ankle sprains could develop into long-term problems.
Dr. John D. Utley is the founder of Desert Foot & Ankle, P.C. established in 1997. He graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1996 where he received the Reese Scholarship, Foundation for Excellence and completed a surgical residency training program at the Los Angeles County, University of Southern California Medical Center in 1997.
Our office is conveniently located in Las Vegas. We serve patients from all over the valley. We are located on the southeast corner of Lake Mead and Rampart, in the Pueblo Medical Center. Dr. Utley and his staff are wonderful. He explained my diagnosis clearly and answered all my questions fully. Best of all, my treatment was simple and very cost efficient (new pads and inserts for my shoes). He didn't recommend any needless procedures that would have cost more money. He also offered to put inserts in all of my shoes if I brought them in! Definitely recommend him and his staff for any foot pain problems.

I'm on my feet all day at my job and over the last few months developed callouses and they were hurting. I had tried all sorts of remedies, over the counter products, foot baths ect yet still was feeling pain. Dr. Utley examined and was able to quickly remove them, immediately noticed a difference. It was as if my feet were healed by angels, no pain and it's so much better can now tap dance if I want. An excellent podiatrist, words cannot fully express my gratitude, thank you.

I had a horrible experience. Communication when it comes to billing and the health of my child we're not on point. I would not recommend this place to hard working families. Life is hard enough, you shouldn't have to deal with medical professionals that tell you one thing and do another. I shouldn't have to question how and why I'm being billed. It should be explained to me at the time of service, not after I call and and to talk to an office manager. I'm so upset. You find a great doctor and he has a horrible staff. Ugghhh.

Dr. Utley is very kind caring and compassionate with my daughter. He was very professional but still had this way about him where he made you feel super comfortable. Hes very Knowledgeable and informative. He took the time to answer all my questions and explain everything. His staff are also very friendly and helpful. I recommend them highly.
