I have been to this clinic for both of my pregnancies and and I have delivered with them as well on the OB side. My experience with them has been great. I'm pretty sure I have met all of the OBs at least once and they have all been very knowledgeable and have put me at ease. I really enjoy doctor Lennon and have gotten to know doctor Graham as well and like him.
They give you all of your options and help you decide what is best for you. They listen to you. Never once have I felt they did something that I didn't want them too. I will be coming back for any future pregnancies and my regular needs. The only negative thing I have to say is that there is a front desk lady(I don't remember her name) who is just pretty rude and abrasive. I do not enjoy seeing her. But the front is not an indication of the people in the back who are actually working with you.

Hi Leo (in response to the negative review below!) Whoa! That's super surprising. The midwives had told us and all my friends there about having occasional physician coverage because they were down a midwife. It sounded like they adjusted the schedule to make sure their midwives would be safe to take care of their patients and not be exhausted. Glad your baby is here safe.
But looking at your other reviews it certainly looks like "one star" and mean words are your standard review. I would trust these midwives and docs with mine and my baby's life, hands down

Had to switch providers last minute due to medical reasons, they were able to ease my mind about the new birth plan and help me through any questions I had about literally everything. They know what they are doing and they absolutely get my recommendation. I loved every single person that helped, they have a phenomenal team and I am beyond grateful for them taking care of us so quickly and efficiently.

If I had done this review years ago, the review stars would've been higher. However, at my last appointment in the late evening, I saw and heard my own doctor talking bad about some patients while the nurses giggled knowingly at the station across from the bathroom. I had never done a late appointment before this time, usually coming in the morning or afternoons. However, I was having some pain and having some hardware taken out as it wasn't working for me and causing me complications.
After my appointment, I decided to go to the bathroom before the drive home and when I came out, to my great dismay and sadness, I heard my own doctor making fun of a patient with several MAs and nurses present. What she was saying didn't apply to my visit so I'm pretty sure it wasn't me. I'm really hoping it wasn't but I was devastated for whomever she was speaking about and it hurt me in my heart for them.
If the practice looks up my name and guesses who I am, this is why I haven't made a new appointment since that night. It was hard enough for me to trust the medical community after I had some complications when my son was born in a different state. I have trusted this practice with my body and the removal of some of my organs and I thought highly of my doctor until I heard her this night.
When I left, I made it a point to make eye contact and say goodbye to her but it didn't even seem to register on her face that she had made a faux pas to a maximum degree. I'm not sure she even knows that that was wrong or if she was trying to act normal to cover up what she was doing. I have agonized over getting care elsewhere or staying with this practice.
But today, in writing this review, I think it best that I go elsewhere for my care. As I wrote above, if this hadn't happened, I might not have considered going elsewhere. After that incident, I haven't felt confident about making an appointment here and it makes me sad. Even doing this review fills me with anxiety and despondency. I won't call her out by name because I believe she deserves a chance as does this practice with whom up until this incident in which I had some confidence.
If the owner of this practice reads this, please have a conversation at a staff meeting about privacy issues as well as the humanitarian aspect of being respectful of a person's privacy as well as their dignity. Perhaps have this conversation at the Littleton practice as well. Thank you and goodbye.

I came to this OB GYN after a poor experience with another. This was my first pregnancy and I was very anxious/nervous about the whole thing. I ended up having a missed miscarriage and the team was MORE than compassionate towards me and my boyfriend when receiving this news. They answered any after hours call I had with grace during what has been a very difficult, emotionally and physically challenging time. Dr. Graham was so informative and encouraging, as well.
I felt like he was really able to answer all of my questions and provide guidance for me moving forward in this situation. If I am to get pregnant again this year, I will surely be returning here.

Midwife Natalie Lockhart has a lovely and comfortable bedside manner during visits and I felt safe and heard for the entirety of my appointment with her. I feel very good knowing that my health and wellness is in her hands. The office is welcoming, stylish, and cozy and all staff was friendly and prompt. Connor the phlebotomist was also fantastic, and gave me a very smooth, pain free drawing. I'm so glad to now be a part of this practice after the one I had been going to for 10 years, suddenly closed down.

Love Dr. Scot Graham for 20+ years! Why you ask? He asks lots of questions and then listens. Does not rush you out. Very personal care. As an example, I had not been able to go to him for 5 years because of my insurance. Was able to start going again in January and when he walked into the exam room he said, I was just thinking about you yesterday.
How many doctors say that to you after 5 years? None. We caught up and he asked about current health issues and say to feel free to call after I got some results from an oncologist I'm seeing end of February. Also, his office called with test results, which were fine by the way, 3 days after I was there. If you are looking for high quality, personal obgyn care, these are your people. I'm a senior citizen at this point but, I know young women who go to him and love the practice.

Tried making an appointment after not being to South Denver in a bit. I was pretty disappointed in the front desks overall kindness and professionalism. It was a pretty big burden to take down my information. Fortunately she claimed something was up with my insurance info and I could not make the appointment. (Nothing is off with my insurance. I have confirmed) Glad I will not be returning there.
The front desk really can set the tone for many patients. I know this turned me off from continuing my care there. Regardless, Blessing in disguise. Lead with kindness! Seems to be a common theme on some other 1/2 star reviews. Front Office has a pattern of being unkind and rude.

After being recommended to this practice by a friend I had high hopes for the care I would receive. Unfortunately from the start my experience with this practice was disappointing. I called one morning to make an appointment and was on hold for 30 minutes. I hung up and decided I'd call back later in the afternoon thinking maybe there was a morning rush.
I called back and was able to speak with someone after about a 20 minute hold however the person that answered the phone was very rude to me and said she wasn't sure they were taking new patients and would take down my information and call me back. After 2 days of not receiving a call back I finally called again and no one answered so I left a voicemail.
Another day went by and finally I called again and was able to get someone on the phone after a brief hold. This person was super nice and apologized for my prior experience and said they were taking new patients and thankfully she was able to schedule me an appointment. Back on track. Our appointment day came and everything went smoothly however I just felt like the lack of enthusiasm by both the sonogram technician and doctor confirming our pregnancy was disappointing.
After going through a covid pregnancy once before I was thankful that my husband could actually attend this appointment with me but he too felt like we were being read a manual for pregnancy with no human emotion behind it. Our appointment was first thing in the morning on a Monday so maybe they were having a rough start to the day? We have since switched practices as I just didn't feel comfortable continuing with my pregnancy here.

I had a wonderful experience at South Denver! The staff was among some of the most courteous and kind office staff I have encountered. The providers also spent as much time as I needed answering questions and explaining my procedure to me. Other clinics have made me feel rushed and just and like I was just a number. I have had nothing but positive experiences here! I strongly recommend it!

I usually don't post these reviews but I was so excited to try this OB out as they have claimed to won awards of best OBGYN and they have great reviews on yelp and google, but I was extremely disappointed. First, from the moment we walked in we were made uncomfortable. The front desk lady seemed overly annoyed that we were first time patients and weren't aware of the call in when you arrive check in system.
We were quickly sent back to the ultrasound room. We saw Dr. Hildner who did our pregnancy confirmation ultrasound. Everything about the ultrasound was uncomfortable. She had me scoot to the bottom of the bed but didn't adjust the bed or pillow so that I was comfortable and I had to strain to sit up to even see the screen. Being physically uncomfortable aside, it seemed like a chore for the Dr to get us an ultrasound photo and to listen to the heartbeat.
During the ultrasound, we weren't able to view the screen until after she had completed her review. We were so anxious to make sure our lil baby was OK so to have to wait took away from our excitement and just caused more anxiety. When we finally were able to look, we could barely see anything and it didn't seem like she put much effort in getting a better image. Then, within what felt like 10 seconds of being able to see the screen we were done.
Immediately after, I had asked if we'd get a print out of the ultrasound. The printer was broken so she had to fix it and then redo the ultrasound. It just seemed very rushed and a chore for her. During the second ultrasound, I asked if we could try to listen to the heartbeat again (first time was almost inaudible) the Dr seemed annoyed. She found the heartbeat and said "is this good enough".
Just all around rude. Not once during the ultrasound, or after did she congratulate us. After the ultrasound I didn't even feel comfortable enough to ask any questions because I was so upset. We were so excited to confirm our pregnancy and no one even congratulated us. All around very disappointed with the raving reviews of this office. We will be going to a different OBGYN.

$7,500 for optional genetic testing!? If you truly cared about your patients, you would be sure to inform them if a test you are recommending costs $7,500! Had we known, this was the cost of an Optional test, we never would have done it! What else are you not telling us? The birth of a child doesn't even cost half that amount!

The doctors are great, the billing practice is one to watch. I went in for a free annual visit and was billed for a separate visit just because I mentioned my history with fibroids, that I am concerned I may have more, and what does the doctor do for them (basically what is her expertise in the matter). My insurance provider does not require referrals meaning that even though the doctor wrote a 'note' in my file about doing an ultrasound to check for fibroids, it is not required in order to get one.
In this visit no additional action occurred outside of my 5 minute inquiry, no new information was provided, no extra service was rendered, and I surely was not notified in advance that just talking about my health to my doctor could cost me extra money. They billed my insurance for a separate visit on the same day $150 visit/$410 for labs; to which I am responsible for $40 visit/$30 labs for what should have been a free annual exam.
I kid you not, I was told from the billing lady and someone from their office that when the doctor asks you if you have any other questions after your exam that 'I should not say anything' because I will get charged. I am pretty sure if I went back into my records I would see that this is not the first time they did this. I think it happened 2 years ago too and I just paid it.
If this has happened to you I highly recommend you report it to the attorney general and let others know on this forum. I am so tired of not knowing what I will be billed for after seeing any doctor.

My wife and I came in to see if we were pregnant or my wife is pregnant. Everything seemed good, friendly staff, and they took her blood and told us they would contact us the next day. Never received a phone call and on our 1st visit we made another appointment for blood work. We thought we would find out then and when we came back they said there were no records and didn't know why.
They told us they would look into it and give us a call. No phone call all day and never returned our voicemails. I get mistakes and business but being our first time is not a great experience for us. Is this how it's going to be during her pregnancy. I hope this never happens to anyone else but based on the professionalism that we experienced, I will not recommend people here.

Hello ALL! I delivered all four of my babies here. My first born was in 2001 and last in 2015 (yup! decided to give it a second round). Dr. Graham, Dr. Lennon and Marissa Mclaughlin are amazing! In a nutshell, to give this team a review they are professional, prompt, Knowledgeable (highly educated, no question goes unanswered), an extremely caring environment.
I ALWAYS felt comfortable with all the doctors and nurses. However, I have not been through any of the midwives but assuming they are all just as wonderful. These doctors always take the time to discuss your concerns weather its a phone call or an in office visit. I can't say enough great things about this group! I am writing this review because First, I want everyone to know how great this team is and second I had to switch insurance companies for 2017. It most certainly helped me find great doctors by viewing others experiences. So I would just like to give back and share mine. Thanks for all you do Denver South!

After a sour taste was left in our mouth with another doctors office for our first prenatal appointment, we could not be happier with South Denver OBGYN! Dr. Geist is wonderful! My husband and I are typically seen within a timely manner & they don't gouge pricing as we have both experienced the opposite at our previous doctors office. If you're looking for a new OBGYN, I would recommend this practice. Both their Littleton location & Castle Rock location are wonderful as we have been so both!

Had an amazing experience with them! I loved all of the midwives that were here! They would spend as long as needed answering my questions and making me as comfortable as possible (Especially since it was my first child). I got Sarah the midwife when I went into labor to deliver my baby. And I was so happy! She was very helpful with all the calls I sent her since my contractions kept spacing apart.
I felt so confident and comfortable with all the midwives. We have since moved back east, but my husband and I always joke that when we have our next child we need to move back so that we can go back to south denver obgyn again!

I'd leave 100 stars if I could! Dr. Van Scriver was fantastic! Billing dept is fantastic. Staff is fantastic! I loved being able to see the same doc my entire pregnancy and then also had her deliver our sweet son. She is very down to earth and never once had an 'awkward' moment during exams! Dr. VS has wonderful bedside manner and treated me like a daughter! I feel blessed to have met her! Highly recommend.
