I was referred to Dr. Samuels by a close friend. I have never had any type of plastic surgery. She was wonderful from the start! I had a breast lift and augmentation. Simply put Professional Experienced Educated and competent staff Best Plastic Surgeon in Louisville, KY I have been under the care of Dr. Julene B. Samuels for over 6 months. I am extremely happy with all of the results! People say each time they see me I look better. That makes me feel better as well as looking better! I like that a lot! I highly recommend Dr. Samuels and her office staff! My experience has always been the very best!

Every time I go into Dr. Samuels' office I feel so welcome! She knows what she's talking about and it shows. The staff is so sweet and makes you feel great about yourself. Any time I have a question I know that I can get a detailed answer from any member of the staff and truly trust what they tell me.

After reading positive Reviews about profound laser I decided to have it done. After a year I still am unable to see any results. I was told by Dr Samuels that she would be willing to do another procedure at cost but changed the price at my last follow up from 500 to 3000. It is not a matter of finance but on principle that I will not be returning, as I find this behavior similar to a bait and switch. Can I give zero stars?

I do not recommend Dr. Samuels. I went to her wanting to correct what I refer to as "a permanent frown" caused by my face sagging. She recommended a procedure called Renuvion with liposuction which ended up being performed on my neck. After almost one year I see no difference in my face OR neck. I feel my money was wasted! I'm currently planning to have the correct procedure done on my face by another plastic surgeon who I feel is much more trustworthy and whose staff I feel much more comfortable with meeting my expectations.

I felt immediately comfortable when I walked into their beautiful office. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Dr. Samuels exceeded my expectations and made me feel comfortable with all of my decisions. I wasted a huge amount of money on Profound, and would not recommend to anyone. Exactly one year later (I was told results are best after a year) and absolutely no results whatsoever. In fact, the aging neckline is worse! The staff are pleasant to deal with as is Dr Samuels, but while they are dealing with you I always feel like I'm the subject in The Emperor's New Clothes.
In the follow up visits they marvel at how much better you look when you know that you look the same (my husband took pictures before and after). In the before pictures they keep telling you to put your head down a little, then in the after pictures they tell you to put your head up a little. Really? I ask all of you to do the same in a mirror and see which version looks better.
Save $5000.00 and just keep your head up and smile. Nevertheless, when I was kept waiting for over 2 hours prior to treatment so they could figure out their new sound system, Dr Samuels then informed me that a nurse would do the treatment instead of her. The Dr was flustered and hurried, and told me that her staff was trained better than some doctors. I allowed the nurse to proceed and she seemed hesitant during the treatment. Very unprofessional in my mind. Save your money or go elsewhere.

Lexington/Louisville/Tri-County Area - Seek No Further! After 5 previous consultations, Dr. Samuels eliminated all other options off my list after my first visit with her. She not only took her time to talk thoroughly about my options, she never rushed me, and kept my interest in mind the entire time. She is realistic, genuine, professional and warm!
Her staff is down to earth, never treated me like a number, and went the extra mile to look into cost savings and check in during recovery! If I could give them 25 stars I would! But if I can say anything, I'll say that Dr. Samuels gave me my life back! I had struggled through my late teens, all of my 20s, and now early 30s with large breasts, back pain, depression and weight gain.
My body wouldn't budge no matter what I tried. Workouts only stressed out my body due to the large pendulum breasts I carried, and along with 4 bras to exercise in because I couldn't breathe. I went nowhere! I had my breast reduction surgery March 2018 (at that time I was a 36GG or H). Dr. Samuels was the only surgeon (vs. my other consultations) that said I would be her ONLY surgery for the day.
She focused on me alone. My surgery was estimated to be 5 hours, but lasted longer due to her meticulous work, she paid extra attention to detail, and was careful to make sure everything was so-so. Not only did she come in early, she performed my 7.5 hour surgery, but also stayed with me until I woke from the anesthesia. She even made sure someone kept in touch with my husband and mom to give them peace of mind during the entire operation - total communication.
My mom says she has "a mother's heart" in all of it. She cares, oh my goodness she cares! I was afraid of doctors until I met Dr. Samuels. I don't have children, I've never even had a tooth pulled before this surgery. I felt zero pain the entire process (other than the nausea from the meds my first night), I had zero setbacks from recovery, zero side effects, and 100% satisfaction!
I bounced back in 3 days! I followed every step she suggested, because she monitored every part of recovery for the best results! My result?! My breasts are even, UP where they should stay (I love the option of going without a bra!) and I'm now a beautiful, PROUD 36D! I've lost 45 lbs since my surgery and I'm now wearing size small t-shirts and will be competing in a women's physique competition in 3 weeks - IN A BIKINI - what?!

I had plastic surgery done prior to seeing Dr. Samuels. I was totally unhappy with my results which led me to Dr. Samuels and I am glad I did. Not only did she do a revision that 3 other doctors refused to do but it was the best experience EVER!. This wonderful woman is a perfectionist. She is passionate about her work and it shows. She is the most personable, professional, caring, experienced, meticulous, & dedicated, etc.
I could go on and on. I would suggest her 10x over any doctor in Louisville, KY. When I initially researched doctors I did not choose her because she was a little more costly but let me tell you, you get what you pay for. Remember that!
