We are pleased to now offer Lactation Consulting Services to our patients who have recently welcomed newborns into their families. These services will be provided by Barbara Koval, a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, who has been a valuable member of our team for the last 7 years in providing general pediatric care to our patients. One of our physicians is always on call for further questions or emergencies and to provide important continuity of care for you and your family. We also partner with CHOA after-hours nurse line to ensure someone is always available to answer your questions.
Services
To be a compassionate, personable practice that delivers high-quality medical care and great customer service. Known as one of the premier pediatric practices in Atlanta, we care for the whole child through wellness and sick visit care, by addressing growth, development, and behavioral concerns for our patients.
We know choosing a pediatrician is one of the most important decisions you will make for your child. For information about our group pre-natal meet and greets, call our office at 404-351-6662. We'll answer any questions you may have on this tour. We are the only private practice that will see you and your baby every day you are in Piedmont Hospital until discharge and then will ensure you have an easy follow-up in office after you return home. At Piedmont Pediatrics, you'll have direct contact with our nurses - no leaving voicemails but get a nurse right away.
One of the only pediatric practices in Atlanta to offer Pediatric Asthma and Allergy services in our office! The changes outlined here have been put in place in order to keep in step with the CDC and governmental recommendations that we not congregate in groups of more than 10 people. We know how frustrating it can be when your child is dealing with allergies.

I would not recommend this practice for the parents who want more one on one time with their pediatrician. This practice is basically an assembly line for kids. You'll always have a horrible long line to wait for your turn in an overcrowded waiting room. I must also add, Dr Koenig, please keep your personal opinions to yourself. If I choose to see a chiropractor for my child, I will do so. I left the practice after my baby's first month visit. I recommend doing your research before you choose this practice.

We have been patients for 7 years with my son and daughter. We don't live particularly close so we considered leaving but are so glad we didn't. My son got incredibly sick at school one day. We went to the ER, we're admitted, and the CHOA doctor said he had a psych issue despite the psychiatrists clearing him. We went to follow up with Dr Elliott the following Monday.
He knew immediately what was wrong, and although it was rare for kids, he ordered tests and got us in with a surgeon right away. He called us to check in even while he was on vacation and followed up frequently. My son had surgery and is doing great now! We are so thankful for the care Dr Elliott provided!

We've been going to Dr. Elliott since we became parents, he's an amazing doctor, we love him so much that we still go to him although we moved to Johns Creek, but at my last visit I noticed that the exam room is just filthy. You can just see dried up drops of something on the walls, there's dirt in the corners, on the chairs. Just gross! Kids touch everything. both my kids got sick a couple of days after the visit.
Also the nurse insisted that I lay my toddler down for vaccines-of course he started crying and trying to wiggle his way out of the situation which made it so much more stressful than it needed to be. I'd really like to see more cleanliness and flexibility. Thank you

Dr. Laura Harris was my pediatrician at this practice for over 10 year I believe. I can confidently say that she has gone above and beyond for me as a doctor and I would recommend her to anyone. Mostly importantly, she has always listened to all my concerns and worked to make sure many options were explored when I had a medical issue arise. She also was never afraid to be honest when she wasn't completely sure about certain treatments or issues, and always referred me to wonderful other specialists when needed. She is kind, humble, trustworthy, smart, empathetic, caring, and hardworking.

Dr. Elliott is amazing as well as the rest of the staff. As a first time mom, the number of questions I have are endless and add. Elliott is always helpful and knowledgeable. I feel confident in taking my daughter to their office and know that she is in great hands. Thank you Dr. Elliott and the rest of the Piedmont Pediatric Staff.

We are having an impossible time getting them to *ANSWER THE PHONE* this late summer. Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. At least six attempts! Two yesterday four today. The phone system kicks us out after around 4 minutes. My little pet peeve in the process, "Please listen carefully as our options have changed." They have been the same for years. Annoying! ---------Five stars before September '21 We love Doctor Roe!
He has been a great resource for so many of our parenting questions The staff are helpful, the nursing staff are amazing, even when they're giving shots to our children! We have been coming here for five years, and now we bring our second child as well. They take insurance, the appointment hours are wide-ranging and convenient

We are feeling so lucky tonight. Dr. Elliott is such a GOOD doctor. The kind of doctor every parent wants. We have two kids, a 3 and 1 year old, so we've been seeing him for 3 years now. There has not been a single visit that I have left unhappy about our doctor or the practice. Do you know how many times you will go to the doctor with babies and kids?
A LOT! Never. Once. Disappointed. It is so important to love your doctor. Tonight, my 1 year old dislocated her elbow at 7:45. We were scared and frantic, no idea what's wrong or what to do. I called the office, and Dr. Elliott met me outside of the hospital within minutes to relocate it. He could have easily sent me to the ER, or had me wait until the next morning.
I know that's probably what he was supposed to do, but he MET ME. A scared mom of a baby who is in so much pain. Popped her little arm back in place and said, not a problem! He did not have to do that. That is a GOOD doctor. Every doctor needs to be like that. Yes

These negative reviews are ridiculous. I just called at 8:30 am and have a sick appointment for my daughter at 9:45. The reason well visits are difficult to get last minute is because they reserve a good portion of their schedule to sick visits. I have always been able to get a sick visit within 2 hours of calling the office and I just plan my daughter's well visits -- come one, I know when her birthday is.
I think I can pick up the phone a few weeks in advance and make the call. And if not, shame on me - I'm the irresponsible one. The reason it is busy is because the doctors are good. You don't eat at a restaurant that has no customers, right? Why would you send your CHILD to a doctor that has no patients? And it isn't an urgent care -- don't go without an appointment.
