There are much larger differences between children and adults than size alone. That is why everything at Wolfson Children's Hospital is designed with kids and families in mind. Giant crayons mark our entrance, and red wagons transport our little patients through the halls.

This place is amazing! From the time I arrived with my child he was in the best hands, EVERYONE that he needed was very attentive! They keep me updated as much as they can! The Chaplin is God sent, dad cant be here with me due to being home with the other kids. But the Chaplin was there to soothe me when I cried & prayed with me! He went above & beyond to loan me his charger & make sure I had food & drinks!
I sleep a little better knowing my son is getting the best care! & I love the fact they care about the parents & how they are feeling seeing their child down! Keep being the amazing staff & Hospital these babies need you guys

The Daytona location is going to end up hurting someone by getting paperwork mixed up. I requested my kids heart monitor results be sent to me, I received the results to bloodwork.that weren't even hers! They sent me someone else's results! It took so long to get my kids records.by the time we got them, we had already gone to another Dr, had retaken multiple tests and had started treatment! AND when we did finally get the records they were WRONG!
For example, they had put that my daughter went to the ER(she never did) and it was a hospital we had never been to? Also put that my daughter tested positive for COVID at this er visit(she has never had covid and again we have never been to this hospital. They sent the wrong Dr paperwork.multiple times. This place is a mess with keeping people's files separate/secure and they mix files up.this could end up really hurting someone one day!

If I could give 0 I would they don't care for sick kids. My daughter has sickle cell anemia she was in so much pain that all she could do was cry. We was waiting for 4 hours in a room an still hasn't seen a doctor. The nurses at the station only cared about getting their food order. I asked one of the nurses when is the doctor going to come she left and came because 5 minutes later saying he was coming but when he did come he didn't come to the room he went to the nurse's station and got his food and never came. My child and I left sickle cell is not something to be taken lightly. This is by far the worst CHILDREN hospital ever.

My reasoning for a three star rating is because of my experience with the emergency room having been a zero and yet my experience with the trauma unit was a 4. My 11 week old son was transferred by helicopter from Valdosta, GA due to a broken bone. I didn't want to let him go by air. I wanted to drive him, but both doctors from both hospitals said it was best to get him there quicker to start emergency care.so I let him go.
When arriving at the hospital not only was I not required to identify myself, but I was able to walk right into the hospital and walk right into his room with nothing said. He was laying in a bed alone with a soiled diaper on, crying and that was just not okay. He had not received any x-rays, no IV, nothing had been done at all so what was the reason for the airlift over here.
I could have just drove him here with me. The orthopedic doctor was not going to be in until the next morning anyway so there was just no need. The attitudes on the emergency floor were unnecessary as well. I had already been crying all afternoon and evening about my son's accident. I could have done without the all the attitude. Fortunately, the next morning, hours later, he was well taken care of by some really great people serving amongst the trauma unit. Headed home now and confident my baby is going to heal well in the next 6 weeks.

Whichever lady was working the front desk area at 845 at the location near town center was extremely rude, she asked me what my daughter last name was so I told her and I also said but she hadn't been here before (usually that's what y'all ask, have you been here before?) and under her breathe she said All I asked for was the last name and just had an attitude.
And even with the next person who came in. I know I sound petty but when someone is coming in with a sick infant that last thing I want to deal with is someone with an attitude. And if you genuinely have an attitude for no reason while checking babies into the hospital than you should find a new job. It was unnecessary and uncalled for. I'm a young sick mom bringing in my infant who's sick, I'm stressed out, worried, I already don't feel good, and the first person who greets me when I walk into the door to check on my baby is rude. The doctor and nurses who checked on my baby were amazing. But the front desk lady was just miserable and rude.

We've been apart of this hospital for three + years while my son battled Liver disease and Crohn's disease. Infusions every 4 weeks, hospital stays, operations, procedures- we've done it. Every single person or area we visit always makes my child feel heard and cared for. They have gone above and behind to ensure his comfort during his many visits at Wolfson's, no matter where he is. I'm so grateful for the doctors and staff at this hospital. You've eased some of the toughest years of our life.
