He gradually built a loyal patient following over the years and in 1948 was joined by his son, Dr. Marvin J. Wing. While eye exams generally include a look at the front of the eye to evaluate health and prescription changes, a thorough screening of the retina is critical to verify that your eye is healthy.Contact lenses are considered medical devices and can be worn to correct vision, or for cosmetic or therapeutic reasons.

We are so appreciative of the service provided. The staff are pleasant, non judgemental and very willing to help without pressuring sales.

Worse place for any kind of eyecare. Staff, lab and management have no idea how to treat clients with good customer service. Glasses arrived 3 weeks later than promised and had the wrong prescription.pathetic business.

I beeb waiting on glasses since Nov. 28th and still have not received them. Because of headaches I went on January 14th for contacts, now awaiting on both the glasses and contacts. The Office Manager won't returns my calls or get on the phone when I call, and the staff act like I did something wrong because I keep calling.

The eye exam visit itself was great. I ordered glasses an sunglasses. Three days later I was told they where unable to make the lenses for my sunglasses due to my strong prescription. So I am owed a refund of over $500 was told refund policy is a two week check via mail. My eye exam was 09/28/19 today is 11/6/19 that's 39 days! I have yet to receive a refund an contacting the Corporate office or anyone has proven a very difficult challenge have left messages on voicemail.

With a call back # but I never get called back. I have remained mostly nice an calm when dealing with anyone. An I have been very far from harassing. But it's been 40 days. I am seeking legal counsel next monday.

My experience here has been so bad I felt the need to review Wing Eye Care. I had an appointment on July 9th, I picked out my new pair of frames and given a expected time of arrival, 7-14 days. It's now July 28th and I have still not received my glasses. I called the Glenway office after the initial 14 day window and was given no information on when I would receive them, they were experiencing computer difficulties but it would be "soon".

But they would call me when the glasses arrived. 2 days pass and I decide to call the office again. The receptionist that answered told me that the manager would call me the next day with information. Manager never reached out and I never received a phone call. I decided to call the office at the end of the operating hours. Same receptionist from the previous day answers and when I tell her the situation yet again, she puts me on hold to get the manager.

Few minutes later, she gets back on the phone and gives an update that my glasses would be in on Saturday. Never talked to the manager once, never received a phone call from Wing Eyecare about a possible delay in my order. Well, It's now past the promised Saturday deadline. Glasses didn't arrive and they are not interested in keeping my business. The stall tactics, misinformation and lack of respect for customer's time is to such a degree that I do not intend to come back.

Do not use their services! This was my experience: The lab that Wing Eyecare uses to make the lenses are terrible. My glasses were returned after wearing for a couple weeks due to seeing swirl marks on my CR-39 lenses. I had the Cryzal applied but was told the swirl marks are not from the Cryzal. I was told some kind of machine that touches the lenses after being created does some inspection of the lenses which causes these swirl marks to appear.

It is abnormal. Office manager at Western Hills mentions she will reach out to the lab to discuss. I returned the defective glasses, Western Hills sends the defective lenses back to the lab, the lab recreates the lenses and did not pass inspection on the second make at the lab, the lab recreates the lenses a third time and sends my glasses back to the Western Hills location.

I had to call numerous times to get updates on my glasses since more than a month had past. I was told my glasses had swirl marks on them again after being sent back from the lab after a third time. I had to make a special visit to see the office manager at the Western Hills location to get my refund and to have my insurance notified that my defective glasses were returned in order to have my insurance "reset" everything because of the return.

I'm waiting for my refund to be mailed to me in the form of a check although I paid with a credit card. Apparently, Wing Eyecare doesn't have the technology to credit a refund back to a credit card. I will have to wait 2 or more weeks to purchases glasses elsewhere. I have gone to Wing Eyecare for the care of my eyes, glasses, and friendly staff for my entire life. Overall, I had a really negative experience and will not be returning to Wing Eyecare in the future. Thank you.

This was my second time here and I cannot express enough gratitude for having found such a wonderful place for my vision needs. The staff is so attentive and friendly and the appointment was quick and seamless! Just wonderful! Dr. Kaiser is a sweetheart!

The customer service is lacking. My first appointment I booked with them they booked under a different person and after looking at my cards (at the desk) they quoted the wrong persons insurance coverage. "Oh yes you have a complete coverage plan" NOT. Of course when they called that person to confirm appointment they cancelled it. When I called that day to confirm time I was on hold for 16 minutes.

The second time I called to get the service plan I was on hold for 8 minutes. When I went to pick up the service plan contacts on Saturday I checked online for open times. It said It closed at 3pm online. I get there and they closed at 1 pm. Normal business hours are till 6pm M-F. Just another place I have to take vacation time for an appointment. The business manager must look into this lack of exceeding customer expectations.

I switched. I realized they are more expensive after switching. They are always too busy to actually provide good service. Every time I reordered contacts you have to go to store, sign in at the front desk and go sit at the contact counter. You then wait endlessly for someone to help you. They then start shuffling through cabinets looking for your contacts which can take them several more minutes.

There seems to be no system of organization whatsoever. All they are doing is literally handing me a bag. I spent 15-20 minutes waiting for them to hand me a bag on multiple occasions. And why you have to sign in to get a bag I never understood. The second reason for switching is last year I woke up with an eye infection on a Saturday. I called right away and they said sorry we have no appointments today.

I said this is an emergency can't the doctors work me in. The person said she'd check and call me back. After an hour I called them back and person answering was rude and said "I said I'll call you back". So again I waited. I finally went to the urgent care. Never did Wing call me back. On Monday I called because I wanted my eye doctor to be aware of what happened.

I requested a call from the doctor. Guess what, yep, never got a call back from doctor. It's like the McDonalds of eye exams. They just crank you through an assembly line and there is no one who gives a hoot.

Horrible experience. I took my son to get fitted for contacts for the first time and the optician did not work with him at all. She basically was like use this finger and put the contact in. He couldn't do it so she refused to send me with any trial lenses. Instead she told us to practice with eye drops. I ended up taking him to Clarkson Eyecare further down on Beechmont Ave. they worked with him and sent him home with trial lenses. We had a much more patient optician and better experience there. I would NOT recommend Wing for first timers they are horrible at what they do.

From the second I waked in until I left I was treated absolutely amazing. As soon as I filled out my paper work I was seen and both the receptionist and the examiner were very friendly. The doctor was hands down on another level she answered all my questions and was extremely friendly. They have 100s of frame options so I highly recommend them!

I waited for Ever to get my contacts, they were only the samples, apparently they didnt have them in stock. I called for 8 straight days after waiting for 10days, one lady in particular was very very very rude to me when I was finally able to get the contacts, then they didnt even want me to pick my glasses out told me to come another day. This was the Kemper road location.

I believe the lady name was linda, (I could be wrong) older white lady with purple hair. but the Manager handled the situation very well, he was the only good that came from my experience.

PATIENT BEWARE! If it was possible, I wouldn't even give 1-star! Please please. Take your business elsewhere! Had an appointment on a Saturday and was told it would be 4-5 days for contacts. 2 weeks later, no contacts. Call the office every day to be told it'll be another few days with no explanation why. Just told "we'll text you when they're here" with an attitude. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

Great customer service, virtually no wait and very professional. They are a little bit more expensive than a few of the other Optometrists I've seen, but I would gladly pay the difference for the superior service.

Excellent care and understanding, from front reception through optometrist. Having had my long-time optometrist retire this year, I was anxious to move practices. Everyone was kind and understanding of my medical history. Thanks again to the team!

I have been going to them for probably 14, maybe even 15 years now, and have been seeing Dr. Celeste Keiser for several years. They have a fabulous selection of glasses and sunglasses from expensive high end designer, to the more affordable frames/lenses. They run coupons all the time, as I am a big coupon-er, and they also will price match if you find something identical at another retailer for cheaper. (I'm sure they have specific rules about the price matching.) They have worked with me on returns that have rivaled Costco's retail return policy (the whole store, not just Costco's optical department).

A few years ago, I tore a lens in my eye, went to Anderson Mercy, had it removed, and basically thought I was stuck with the year's worth of lenses I had purchased, as I was too nervous to wear the ones I had purchased because they did tear easily, and wore my glasses for the next couple years. Then, I wanted contacts again, they were 4 months from expiration, they let me return ALL of the unopen boxes for a credit, and I bought a whole other year of contact lenses by a different supplier that I still wear that maker to this day, for very little out of pocket cost.

My boyfriend wanted to go to Lenscrafters, and he gets a free pair of glasses from the VA, but I wanted to treat him to a really nice pair. I got adamant that we were going to Wing. He picked out a pair of Oakley's. The rubber pieces came off the ear pieces and tore, and the ear pieces left huge indentations in his head. (I am not exaggerating).

Wing submitted a request for the parts to be replaced as they were still under warranty, and after no ear pieces after 6 months of waiting, just gave him a brand new pair of I think they were like $275 - $300 frames to snap his lenses into. I could go on and on with more stories about how they bend over backwards for their customers to make them happy. And I won't bore you with my few other stories. They get an A+ from me. Easy to get in and get an appointment, good hours. Great doctors and opticians.

I've recommend Wing Eye care to all of my friends. Their professionalism is the best. I love how they have TVs set up to educate you about your eyes while you wait for your appointment. I wasn't happy with my last pair of glasses, but after a quick recheck of my eyes they reordered the right prescription in and those were great.

Recently had eye exam, ordered contact lenses, paid for them in advance, seven days later still haven't received them. Called office spoke with "office manager" was told should expect 7-10 days because dropped shipped from manufacturer and they are "running behind". Vision concerns were never adressed only the money. Never mind that I have been a client for several years it's now the "manufacturer's fault".

Never once took responsibility for non-deliverance as promised nor tried to make it right. Lost me as a client today. 1-800-CONTACTS may be the right decision. I have always tried to support local businesses but their reluctance to help is a problem.
