If I could get Saint Francis 0 I would they are the worst ever I've never seen a city with a hospital or clinic on each corner and all that care Is medically is poor they do not care about the patients all the nurses do is complain about how short staff they are administration walks around and does nothing When you question the physicians about taking care of your loved ones and you're with your loved one and know what works and Are aware Of the medications that they're on and a physician will come in and put a patient on a psychotropic medication that they've never been on before and think that is OK no it's not OK and then you're asked to leave the hospital because you're a question they're poor Standard of care they are not God but they think they are and if you ask a question you will be asked to leave because you're disrupting the patient care no they want to kill your patient so it'so if you have a choice always avoid Going to Saint Francis Hillcrest is a much better place if Hillcress head been available I would have never let my mother be admitted to Saint Francis they are disgusting and if they're so short of nurses then that means someone needs to start in administration to find out why they're so short Staff every hospital in the nation got covid money and they still have it use it to hire nurses use it to pay them well and you will get better care in 2005 Saint Francis was the Is crop they don't even make the list for being anything but money grubbing poor patient care givers.
For organization to have good care It must start at the top with the administrator that chief nursing officer and nursing managers if they don't care no one else cares and this is evident with Saint Francis hospital It is also evident no one reads the reviews because if they did they were act on them If you have a choice run from any Saint Francis organization Shame on you a so called Christian organization Hiding behind the name of Saint Francis Your organization discussed me

I went with a friend to the ER today. We got there at 9:30 AM and it's 9:19 PM and they still haven't admitted this into a bed or sent us home or allowed us to see a doctor. If you love your friends and family don't go here! From listening to the nurse Dr. Money was on call, but I'm sure he's long gone by now. Wish they had more doctor staff and more rooms and more nurses that were actually supporting patients- And not corralled around a monitor giggling every time we go in for a blood pressure monitoring. We were told we were waiting on a room, but at this point I'm not sure what we're waiting on other than a doctor to see us.

Had an exacerbated asthma attack with bronchial spasms. I was hospitalized for a week. I was on fourth floor specialty, I have been in several hospitals and hospitalized for this. St Francis knew what they were doing.every single staff member nurse, nurses aide manager housekeeping the people I talk to you on the phone and even bought my food could not been more kinder they we were even spiritual and uplifting.
Father Jim prayed for me the healing of my diverticulitis which was also found my high blood pressure. My diverticulosis disappeared! I had for 9 months. I was able to leave within five days and go home on breathing treatments and steroids and my oxygen was staying up I was checked on constantly and cared for constantly I am thoroughly impressed and cannot give more than enough gratitude to the people who work there timelessly and effortlessly to help me.
I saw them and also heard them even had to work through code blues for others while they were working to help me. And would come back collected and make it through their shift with a smile on their face. Elizabeth, Hailey, Jess, Shelby, Josephine, Derek fourth floor specialty manager, Cherokee, Lexie, Georgiette, Reina Sp? Sheree' I'm sorry if I missed of your names on fourth floor specialty but I just wanted to know how much I appreciate you but I do remember faces in my head and I have a heartfelt gratitude for you!
Many prayers and blessings for your time your love for your patients you care for I will be praying for you all. **My DR. Valuppa Was outstanding and top notch! She listened to My health history, she noted it if she had not, it would have been missed and I would've been in there longer, She came to see me every single day! Explaining thoroughly what was going on what test I needed, what I needed to do and What regimen I need to follow to go home faster.
I followed her instructions and I was able to go home sooner than later. thank you thank you Dr. Dr. Valuppa. May God bless your practice and your family. Sincerely Natalie Gwen Maples - Ingram

They were very thorough when I came in to the ER. I thought I had a UTI due to bet up all night using the restroom every five minutes. My main problem was the IV that they placed in my hand, I'm very sensitive to IVs and it hurt, I went back and asked if they could move it and they did. Went back to the waiting room and sat there trying to tell myself I was being to sensitive and it was cause I was sleep deprived, after about two hours I went to the window and told the intake nurse that it was really hurting and very uncomfortable, also I was still using the bathroom and this IV was in the hand I used not sanitary.
The nurse asked me if I wanted it removed, I said that would be great, then I get told if they remove it I have to leave and not be seen!?!?! I relented and went and sat down again, they finally called me back and when I showed the nurse she panicked and removed the IV saying my hand was swollen and looked infected and sore! As it turned out I didn't even NEED the IV for a UTI!
I won't be going back to this ER because of this, when my friend was visiting and became sick I wouldn't even take him here because he is elderly and it would have really upset him to have a IV for hours, his skin isn't good~

I had no shortage of issues while working as an employee at this hospital. I'm in the Oklahoma National Guard, so once a month, I have drills, or I can be called to do State Active Duty Orders, etc. I gave them a list of an entire year's worth of drill dates, yet management kept scheduling me repeatedly on drill dates time after time. Onboarding was awful, and they didn't give me all the pertinent information, including information regarding PTO.
They used my PTO hours for a day I was at DRILL, which is illegal, and the only reason I didn't bring it up to HR is that I put in my two weeks for a move. I could go on, but I don't have the room in this text box.

After visiting my mother-in-law in the ICU, I tried to leave the hospital the way I came in and they have the entrance lock after 7 pm. (No one told me when I arrived that I wouldn't be able to leave the way I came.) I couldn't even leave through the door, I felt locked in. I ended up have to walk through the main entrance and walk around outside to get to my car while it's dark out. It took over than 30 minutes to get back to were I parked. The insanity of the hospital. They have no care for the safety of their visitors.

If you are under staffed. Hire some drs! with what I pay, I think it should cover one more dr! I wanted 9 hrs last night. I felt sorry for the people that had been there 10-14hrs. my CT's can showed why I was having acute pain. I felt bad for the elderly man who was dizzy and had been there before me. He was peeing blood. My heart went out to many.
The waiting room was filthy and the two restrooms in ER were used continuously. **This is also were urine samples were done. Blood was on the floor, toilet, etc. No wipes in sight! I had brought my own plus sanitizer so thanks to my husband we could wipe down the doors, toilet, sink, etc. It scares me to think what is being spread from the bathroom to waiting room and to others.
No wipes there either. when they came for my ctscan I cleaned the chair. It was black. Yes, black from some sort of dirt I could feel under the wipe. I'll say this, the nurse that checked my victuals and gave me something for stomach was very compassionate. she looked exhausted and lab tech got my IIV in first stick. Bless them both. I have seen many hospitals and unfortunately had to stay six different ones. St. Francis is by far the worst. I hope they make a turn around. I give a 5star to the exhausted nurse. The check in experience, wait, cleanliness 0star

I literally haven't been in this hospital since my daughter was borne here in Nov 2013. It's had some nice upgrades for sure and seems easier to navigate than it did many moons ago. I'm here visiting a grandfather that isn't doing so well but the staff are super friendly and the rooms are nice and cool

I'd like to give them a 0! My husband has been in the ER for 8 hours now with heart issues. This hospital has a reputation of people being in the ER for 10 plus hours with major issues. Don't go here. UPDATE. 12 hours now. No doctor. Tons of people in the waiting room who haven't seen the doctor either. Not enough staff. They should be reported. Don't go here. I'm going to report the facility. No hospital should be allowed to operate without enough people.

I brought my dad up here to the ER. So far we have been here 7 hours and just saw a doctor. The ER waiting room was not crowded when we arrived. When we got called back to a room the waiting room was packed. People were leaving that were obviously ill and injured. Clearly they are short staffed. It makes me sad because St. Francis used to be a top notch hospital.
I will never return to this facility. 8 hours so far.doctor came in and left to look at bloodwork. 9 hours and doctor came in. Unfortunately he left again. I hope he comes back. 11 1/2 hours later. Got admitted. Now we have to wait 2 more hours for the hospitalist to assign him a room. 12 hours now.still waiting.

I was brought in by ambulance and literally left in a corner for hours. It was a third world county in the lobby but even brought in by an ambulance I didn't even get an IV started Or a bracelet and I was incontinent sitting in my own urine. I left and when I asked the nurse she said yes, please go and had me sign discharge papers. I went to Hillcrest, got in and a Private bed and thank God I did b/c I had a 4 minute grand mal seizure. Had a stayed at St. Francis.
I would of layed there in the corner and seized and I don't know what would of happened. I know it's stressful but I was treated as an inconvenience. I didn't even make a fuss ever, I was so polite. Then I had enough. Hillcrest all the way. You should not be encouraged to sign discharge papers without an examination b/c I had a major seizure and was unable to control my bladder again. None of how I was treated is acceptable.

It never fails that St. Francis will send a balance they think I owe to a debt collector without even notifying me that I owe anything. They will claim they called and mailed me about it but I will have received NOTHING. Despite the fact that I have an online account with them with a payment method set up to auto pay, I still receive a collections notice out of the blue. Additionally, it is apparently impossible for them to consolidate their billing.
If you have a procedure done here you will inevitably receive a separate bill from the doctor, the radiologist, the lab, the ER, and probably the receptionist who took your information down. If I did not have to use St. Francis because of insurance I would not ever go there again.

I had a rather scary experience here and will be finding other emergency options in Tulsa. I went in excruciating pain in my lower back and hip, unable to sit, stand, lie down without mind numbing pain. After a blow off Dr's visit at the Warren Clinic across the street, I limped into the St Francis Emergency Room as a last resort. The intake nurse was EXCELLENT and took one look at me and said- "sounds like you have a pinched nerve or sciatica or something.
Well be prepared to wait a few hours, but we will get you taken care of". Resigned to wait in pain, I went back out to the waiting area and was called to the back about 30 minutes later by a young woman who didn't have a clipboard or any paperwork and just ushered me into a room and closed me in. She came back a few minutes later, again with no paperwork without checking my name or anything, and started to hook me up to a telemetry system.
So she said "you're in here for chest pains right?". I said no and I went through all of the symptoms again but she wasn't writing anything down in the computer or on paper or anything and then she just floated off. About 30 minutes later a male nurse came in and said "you're here as a St. Francis emplooyee on Worker's Comp., right? No?
Well that's what they said you are." Not sure who they is, I proceeded to go through everything and made him check my name and other information to make sure I was being treated as the right person in the right place. After waiting about 25 more minutes he came back to check on me and hook me up to a blood pressure monitor and an oxygen monitor.
I asked him if I could have a glass of water and he said "no you're going to be in surgery later." This was alarming to me. I did not want to walk out of there with a cracked chest or a missing appendix because at this point I had no confidence that they knew who I was or what I was in there for. I waited about 10 or 15 minutes getting more and more nervous about the situation no one checking on me even when my blood pressure alarm went off for about five minutes and no one ever came to check it.
At this point I had no faith in this establishment. So I took off my blood pressure cuff and oxygen monitor, put my clothes back on and walked out the front door. The next day I flew to Denver in excruciating pain, I do not even know how I survived that flight. I went straight into the emergency room in Denver and within 25 minutes had x-rays and was being hooked up to pain relief for a herniated disc and sciatica.
As a newcomer to Tulsa, this lack of care and carelessness with the patient information is absolutely terrifying and I will not use the Saint Francis hospital or urgent care again. Hopefully there's some better options. If anybody has better options please message me. Thank you. Also I need a spine doctor and a physical therapist. Please help
