This Rehabilitation Hospital has been a godsend to our family while treating my brother-in-law who is suffering with a brain tumor. The facility is clean and well maintained. His room was good sized, with a well appointed, updated and home-like decor. There was adequate seating for visitors, a quiet atmosphere and calmness. The staff is caring, competent and considerate.

We were there for 3 weeks attempting to make progress in keeping our patient comfortable and contributing to his quality of life. The staff became sincere and compassionate partners in our efforts. During our 21 day stay, we experienced excellent care from 7 different nurses and 8 nurse assistants, never having a bad experience or concern. The therapy staff struck a good balance of encouragement and participation to elicit the best effort from our loved one.

They also encouraged our support of our patient and offered suggestions on our journey. We are blessed and satisfied that the Valir Rehabilitation Hospital experience has been superb and worthwhile.

A nurse by the name of Clarissa went out of her way to take care of my friend pete knight. She went far and beyond when others had failed getting him ready to go home. A really awesome place and nurse. Thank you again Clarissa D. We appreciate her

My wife was discharged recently and let me say, the care at Valor was astonishing. The therapists worked with my wife and got her back on her two feet again. There were some amazing nurses and techs who answered my questions and assisted my wife with whatever she needed. I remember one nurse esspecially, I think her name was Clarrisa, who my wife said she was a phenomenal nurse and has not ever met another nurse like her.

She is very caring and knowledgeable about making sure my wife had her needs met. Thank you to Clarrisa for being so helpful and Valor dfor hiring a good staff member and others who worked with my wife.

Extremely happy with the quality of care my son is receiving from the medical/nursing staff, therapists, housekeeping, food service, front desk, and anybody I inadvertently did not mention. A neighbor highly recommended VALIR. He was right! We love his three therapists: Kyoko, Joshna and Rylie!

Phenomenal! My husband spent 2 weeks at Valir after being in 2 previous hospitals for 10 weeks. Shane and the other physical therapists turned him completely around. A true rehab in a hotel setting. He was up and walking the first hour. Clean and very organized.

I love having PT with Ryan Ade and his team at Valir in Frederick. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. The medical professionals are knowledgeable, compassionate and experienced. They have the best blend of experience, cutting edge knowledge, technology and equipment. I am picky about my medical providers and will travel wherever I need to for excellent and trusted care. When it comes to PT, Ryan Ade and his team have my confidence and my business.

My Mother was transferred from Ou medical three times to Valir. The first time is when Valir was barely open and still doing repairs that was about 31/2 years ago. So the room she got didn't look like much but nevertheless my Mom wanted to give it a try. She recently had a situation that required further medical attention thus she was transferred again to Valir and it still looked the same as before the 4th floor was still going through repairs, I guess.

It did not look like the pictures shown here even she said that the gyms looked nothing alike at all. Only thing that looked the same was that ugly flower art trying to hang from an unsafe wall! Some of the nursing staff did not want to do their job! Some quit & some were just lazy & some were so nice too! The doctors were nice but they didn't come to do their rounds three times a week as it states in their own paperwork & pamphlets they give the patients upon arrival but the in force the 3 hours per day in gym rule, luckily my Mom loves to workout but my Mom said she would hear them push talk the elderly to go to the gym to workout 3hrs a day!

My Mother is 52 yrs young but these people were 70-80 years old! She even told me she witnessed an elderly woman fall & they were telling here come on get up you can do it! They didn't call an ambulance or not even a doctor to come check her out! At night my Mother said she would hear those people moan like at 2-3am from pain! The front desk person on the 4th floor, I think her name is Steph something, not friendly at all Mom would call for some help from the night nurse Diane to change the dressings on my Moms foot & Diane said"Oh, they ONLY do that in the daytime"! So, she ask the day nurse Kenda was that true and the day nurse said no it wasn't true!

The night nurse also lied about the fact that my Mom refused her insulin?! What?! My Mom said she did not ever refuse any insulin or meds even though some meds gave my Mom severe diarrhea for the whole time she was there and they didn't do anything about that either although it was reported everyday she was there they never did a thing about it! I could go on & on about the things my Mother told me about Valir but all I can say is shame on them not all was lost like Dr Collins & Dr Zheng are very nice, however, in my opinion is that Valir need to hire real help & quit trying to cut corners on sorry excuses of staff & renovations, especially if you want to make money you have to spend/invest way more money wayyy more money than what you have done so far, and please get a critter n bug exterminator out ASAP!

My husband was a patient at Valir for 11 days. The care was excellent! All the staff (doctor, nurses, therapists, food staff and techs were wonderful). Valir has a warm and friendly atmosphere and treats everyone with respect. We recommend it wholeheartedly!

I chose to do my therapy here for a several reasons. First, they did excellent with my husband's therapy after his bilateral knee replacements a couple years ago. I was really impressed. Second, I really like the smaller hometown feeling, and the more one on one personal attention. Also, you know who you're going to be working with and it's not changing to someone different every week. Overall, it's been a great experience, and they are all extremely caring and friendly and that is what makes for a great experience! I would highly recommend giving Ryan and his team in Frederick, OK a try!

My father was admitted into hospital with a serious Urinary track infection and had a serious wound infection on his bottom from a previous nursing home stay and went from hospital stay to a wound care hospital to Valir Hospital. My dad was at Valir for about 3 weeks and the love and care he received was out of this world. My dad said they was so professional and nurses were so kind and wound care Nurse was knowledgeable and detailed and gentle.

I know my dad love the food and all staff. I have had to help care for my dad with my sister and I realize when love ones have to go away from home it's very important they get as close to the same feeling like they are at home with food and a friendly Environment to help the healing process. I also would like to say my dad recently lost his wife of 55 years who is my mom and this has been a hard time on him and family and the staff was always thoughtful talking to him about his wife as he would looked at her picture in his room and the care they showed him made my father feel so much better. I would recommend any Valir rehab or hospital to anyone in the world.
