Our friendly and experienced ophthalmologists and optometrists have established a tradition for advanced, compassionate, comprehensive eye care. Together, they provide eye exams, lens fittings, laser cataract surgery, oculoplastic procedures, and medical and surgical treatment for all eye diseases and conditions, including dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and conditions affecting the cornea.

Miller is very good. He took the time to answer all my questions and explain everything so that I could understand what was happening with my eyes. I have been Dr. Smetana's patient as long as he has been practicing here, around twenty years. He is the best of the best. I am thrilled that I have finally found an ophthalmologist that I like and we are both on the same page.

Dr. Marshall removed a cataract from my left eye 2 weeks ago. I'm 84 and was somewhat nervous about having it done but she was friendly and answered all my questions. The staff were great and the procedure was easy. Don't know why i dreaded having it done. Her office called a few hours after I was home to make sure I was comfortable and not having any problems and later Dr. Marshall also called to check on me. I didn't experience any pain and my eye sight is much improved. I highly recommend her and her able staff.

I've been seeing Dr. Carlson for many years and in my opinion, he is the best! I've had many eye problems since I was 5 years old, have been to dozens of specialists over the years, and have never had such a caring, personable, and extremely competent doctor that makes me feel at ease each time I see him. My only regret is that he wasn't my doctor in the past. The staff is always very professional and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Carlson.

The practice is well run and locally respected. Dr Falknor was our choice of surgeons available for cataract surgery. All went well, he was thorough in the office and easy to talk to, and we would recommend him to others. Dr Carlson is our primary provider at Eye Associates, also a great choice, but no longer doing cataract surgery. He works at the new office in Cordera also. I have had one cataract surgery and have nothing but good to say about Dr. Smetana. He is kind and patiently answered all of my questions. It is rare to hear a doctor say "take your time." He was reassuring right as I was going into surgery which I really appreciated! The staff at Eye Associates are all so nice and professional as well!

Appointment was at 10:10. I had to go to reception desk at 10:25, and ask if everything was fine. They said I was next patient. Took another 10 minutes. In examination room, at 10:35. Waited there for another 10 minutes before anyone showed up. Dr. Carlson is great. Just wish they could schedule better. Typical of most medical facilities, they over schedule doctor's time. Money is very important; patient care, not so much.

I am a 67+ year old woman and RN. I still work hours+ a week as a Pediatric Nurse. I have had amazing care by this Dr. and all of his staff. I had eye surgery for cataracts over past two weeks and all staff were very professional and very kind Dr Sbarboro is an excellent doctor and also very caring. He is straight forward with any and all information and to answer all my questions. The follow up care is wonderful and again the staff for his office have all treated me very well! I would recommend this Dr. to anyone for top quality care!

My rating for Dr. Miller is FIVE stars, but this group's practice has a staffing issue. The office staff should communicate with patients for late appointments, and rates at best low average. A tech told me that "the doctor is running late, " so I asked why someone didn't communicate that information to the front desk to let waiting patients know?
I wasn't taken back at 1pm for appointment, but 1:55. She told me they were "busy." It's as simple as staff communicating, and I become a 'patient patient!' Dr. Miller is worth the wait, but he needs help.

As always, a very pleasant experience with caring, respectfull and highly professional staff. I've been a patient for years & would never think of going anywhere else! Without their expertise & caring follow-ups, I would definitely be blind at this point! I can't say enough positive things about this group!

Exceptional care, great staff and excellent doctor. Surgery was pain free. Comfortable the entire time. EVERYTHING about the surgery and aftercare was explained in detail. All of my questions were answered. Very pleased with the results. Could not ask for more! I gave them 5 stars because 10 stars was not one of the options.
