SSA is still a growing multispecialty surgical practice that offers a range of services. In addition to a wide range of specialties, SSA owns a fully (ICAVL) accredited vascular lab called The St. Louis Center for Circulatory Disorders. SSA is one of the largest independent multispecialty surgical practices in the St. Louis area. They were highly trained, innovative surgeons who were well received by their peers. With the desire for continuous growth in multiple areas, they envisioned adding partners from various surgical specialties over time.

Dr. Brent Allen is a graduate of Utah State University in Logan, UT and Washington University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in General Surgery at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, and a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX.

Dr Guerra performed a bowel resection for me due to endometriosis in 2007. He did a laparotomy and removed my terminal ileum and ileocecal valve. I was terrified, but his bedside manner was excellent. Not only is he an excellent surgeon, he also is a compassionate and empathetic.
