Yes, prolotherapy is an ongoing treatment process which in time results in permanent stabilization of the joint. Although Platelet Rich Plasma is a type of prolotherapy, the process for each is quite different. PRP is platelet rich plasma produced from a patient's own blood while prolotherapy is an injection made up of natural therapeutic agents which provoke the acute inflammatory response promoting the renewal of damaged tissues. Classic prolotherapy is easier to administer, has less side effects and is significantly less expensive than PRP.

Even though the injections did help with migraines a little bit and the staff was nice it is not worth $300 a visit with surprise fees on top of the visits. It would be nice to know in advance that I was going to get addition charges on top of the $300 pre visit. They need to be more honest with their costumers. They should have told me that I will also be receive invoices in the mail for each visit and you have to pay up front for the injections.

I have chronic knee pain after a motorcycle accident 12 years ago. I've had two surgeries and have been told by two different well known orthopedic surgeons I now need a knee replacement. I feel like I am way too young for that My knee was inflamed with extreme pain on average two weeks out of a month. When I first saw Bridget, the nurse practitioner- I was in so much pain I couldn't straighten my leg all the way.
I had been dealing with the pain and swelling for three weeks. I walked with a limp. With one prolotherapy treatment, I KID YOU NOT- I stood up, straightened my leg all the way, and walked normally void of pain. Within 5 minutes my knee felt "normal" and I was able to "run" down the street. For me prolotherapy was instant relief! I have since had 6 more treatments and I am a COMPLETE BELIEVER now, that surgery isn't always the only answer. Thank you Bridget NP for restoring my faith in alternative healing! I cannot wait to see follow up Xrays of my knee!

A few months ago I was dreading the prospect of needing surgery for my hip injury. Dr. Pollack and his staff listened to my issues and provided a detailed diagnosis. After a few treatments my pain is diminished greatly and I am able to go about my daily routine. I am truly grateful for their professionalism and expertise.

Just left from this clinic after my initial appointment. I don't usually leave reviews but the provider I saw actually listened to my concerns & treated me with so much respect. The staff was very polite & inviting when I walked into the door. I was unable to fill out some of my paperwork & a staff member sat down with me & helped me complete it. It has been a bad week for me but I have to say my experience made me very happy.

I had a very poor experience there. I was asking for clarification in regards to a return to work release and the nurse got extremely upset. After multiple attempts and feeling like I was going nowhere with him, I asked why he was raising his voice and getting defensive. He seemed to be more upset that I asked him directly about his behavior, and said that he felt I was "twisting" his words.
I told him that per his voicemail that he left me, I was clarifying the voicemail versus what I had received. I asked to speak with a manager in their office as he was extremely unprofessional. He gave me the name and then told me she'd be in the following week, Tuesday. That following Tuesday, I called and left a message with someone at the front desk for the manager to call me back.
The person that took the message was aware of the purpose of my call (I want to add that the person that received my call, this time, was professional and pleasant to speak with). I would have expected a call back at least within 48 hours, but never received a return call. In any profession, when you are dealing with people, you have to maintain your composure.
A first impression can make or break a business' reputation. My goal was never to leave a review for everyone to see, however, as the Office Manager never returned my call, I feel it's important to spread the word about the experience at this business, as to warn others about what they may encounter, should they choose them as their service provider.
