Services
A native of Virginia, Dr. Overton attended Richmond public schools, Yale College, and Colgate Rochester Divinity School. He earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia Medical School in 1971. After internship at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Dr. Overton returned to UVA for completion of training, serving as Chief Resident from 1973-74.
An important note about insurance: All major insurance companies offer multiple networks and products within those networks. Many of those plans are managed by individual payers, such as Unions, large self funded employers and municipalities. Those entities process and pay claims but do not contract directly with physician offices.

Heritage Family Practice has been our family doctor for my son and I for over 20 years! And now my husband's for 10 years. It's so nice to see familiar faces every time we go, and everyone is so welcoming! But best of all is how they manage to get us in the same day we call for an appointment EVERY time! There's nothing like seeing the doc when you are feeling sick. So many other places can't get you in for days. And they never make you wait either. Appointments are always on time!

If anyone is looking for a fabulous doctor, go see Dr Jee Eun Lee at Heritage Family Practice in Fairfax. The nurses and staff at Heritage were so welcoming and nice. From making the appointment, checking in, being seen by the doctor, getting an EKG, getting blood drawn, and checking out.barely any wait time! It was like Chick-fil-A service and we all know how efficient they are!
It was a quick well check visit, but Dr Lee still took the time to listen and ask questions. I did not feel rushed at all during the appt. She even made sure I made it to my next appt on time at Reston Radiology Center which was right next door. Very convenient! They were great as well. Everything felt clean and safe at both locations. Highly recommend!

Everyone at Heritage Family Practice is amazing. I have been a patient for many years. The staff and nurses always treat us like they are happy to see us, and go out of their way to make an appointment time that will work as soon as possible. Almost always the same day! There is always a Doctor or NP available. They are always easy to talk to, and are helpful in planning best approach for health issues. Jean Cox NP has been through several health issues with me and is not only medically knowledgeable, she helps me find specialists, best options and follows up on my care. They are truly like family

We have been loyal patients of Heritage Family Practice since we moved to Fairfax in 1999. They are always friendly, efficient, & professional. The doctors & nurses take time to really listen to concerns. They have been very cautious during COVID-19, offering video calls, when appropriate, & ensuring plenty of space between patients & appointments, when in-person is required.

Absolutely seamless. I had a somewhat serious issue and the Heritage Team was able to work me in the same day. The NP was very thorough and really listened to my concerns about prescriptions cost; the staff gave me the URLs of several reputable online pharmacies and noted that Costco is often the best choice for pricier medication. I've been with Heritage for almost 20 years and they've always been the best. 10/10!

I love Heritage, they are the best primary office I've ever had and their hours are very convenient to my odd schedule. I personally see Dr. Lee and she is possibly the most patient person I've ever met and never gave up on figuring out what was going on with me. Also Cici the nurse is super sweet and helpful.
