Children's Eye Physicians currently offers our community seven Board Certified Ophthalmologists, all Fellowship Trained in Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus.Complementing our Pediatric Ophthalmology team are a team of Optometrists, all Fellows of the American Academy of Optometry offering our patients Pediatric and Family Optometry services. The practice offers three locations in the Denver, CO metro area, one bi-monthly clinic in Boulder, CO and a weekly specialty clinic in Grand Junction, CO.

Welcome to Colorado Family Eye Centers where we offer a truly unique eye care experience for both pediatric and adult patients. Every patient who opts to receive patient satisfaction surveys from the practice will receive by email a link to complete a short and focused survey. Your comments and feedback regarding the services we've provided are invaluable and needed ensuring we are focused on making improvements, answering your questions and speedily addressing concerns.
Appointments are available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our staff is available by phone from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. We offer email communication on-line through a secure patient portal (NextMD). Non-urgent email communication can be sent 24 hours per day; however, responses will be made during operating hours.

We've been coming to CEP for a few years now, and will never go elsewhere! After countless other optometrists brushed off my kid's extreme sensitivity/pain to just "having blue eyes" Dr Steele took one look and said this is what is going on, this is how we're gonna treat it, it's gonna be okay! Such a relief that my baby can see without pain again! Very clean facility and kid friendly. We haven't had to wait long to be seen and the staff is always so kind!

Dr Steele is rude and needs to learn bed side manner when dealing with patients and their family. She seems to be in a big hurry and tries to push patients out the door and disregard concerns involving patients. She will make you feel uneducated and beneath her. I am very dissatisfied with this doctor. She needs to read the charts of patients and be informed prior to disregarding concerns of parents. The assist Jasmyn was amazing and deserves 10 gold stars.

Fast helpful people, covid safe office. They now accept adults as well as children; I will be getting my next pair of glasses here. The doctors really are better here, I have regretted going to a less expensive doctor, my daughter suffered with a less than perfect prescription. I will use these people from now on. They are careful to schedule the appointments so that the patients are distanced, and the prescription was delivered more quickly than they promised.

My first time and it was GREAT. The scheduling was very easy. Nicholas was GREAT. Kaylin the tech.assistant was amazing Friendly, professional and knowledgeable She asked all the right questions. Dr McHenry was SUPER. Very attentive friendly and professional. He took the time to fully explain and answer all my questions GREAT place with great staff. Absolutely loved that they print put prescription without me having to ask.

Horrible. The wait time was ridiculous, even with an appointment. The staff in the back seemed scattered. We were moved from the Dr's room to a small waiting area for dialation. Why not in the Dr's room we were in? Someone from the back staff (different person from before) came over to the waiting area to give additional drops. Horrible. We still didn't see a Dr after dilation and had been waiting over an hour. Absolutely horrible experience and do not reccomend Children's Eye Physicians.

I've been going to Children's Eye Physician's since I was 10, all the way back in 1999 and am now still going their as an adult with nystagmus. I've seen a variety of doctors here over the years and most recently have been seeing Dr. DeMoss. She is super kind and attentive, spends lots of time with me and listens to all of my questions and concerns.
I've never had trouble with the front desk staff and am always amazed at how many people they have working at the front desk to make sure you don't have to wait a long time to get checked in. Definitely a place I'll plan to continue going as long as I need to.

I give this place two stars solely because the first girl we saw before the doctor was amazing. She was so nice and considerate to my two year old son. The front desk girl was horrible. She was just not very welcoming whatsoever. The doctor needs to find a new job if she doesn't like working with children. She would talk to him in an annoyed voice "I need you to look at me" grab a freakin toy or something like the rest of them do- he's two and has been sitting here waiting for an hour and a half.
We had to wait for his eyes to get dialated for a stye. They said he had to have an exam. They never even gave him one. They only talked to me about the stye. On top of that while I was waiting in the room for the doctor I noticed all the walls are covered in cobwebs. I will never be back here.

The only small complaint I have is that the wait time is a little long, but not unreasonably so, because once the doc comes in, he gives you all the time you need too. My grandson sees Dr. Arbuckle who is just wonderful with kids. The day after our appointment, he asked if we could go see the eye doctor again. In 5 years of doctor appointments (he has special needs so he's seen lots of doctors), he has never enjoyed going. Amazing job, Dr. Arbuckle. Thanks very much!

From start to finish, we always have a great experience. We've almost never had to wait to be seen once arriving. We did have one experience where they had us scheduled at the wrong location, they were very quick to fit us right in since we were already there. Dr Reem and her technicians are great with our little guy who has been a patient since age 2. I absolutely love the optical staff, they're so kind, helpful and patient even though they seem to be juggling with 6 arms all at once. Would highly recommend.

We had a good experience at this office even though the entire office needs updating. The guy who did all the pre tests and dialation was such a great employee. He understood my 4 year old and I truly felt great with having him there. The eye doctor spent 2 mins with us and told us we were good to go. I was there over 2 hours and yet she only saw us for 2 mins. I timed it too. I'm giving this 4 stars because of the guy who did all the work, not because of the doctor or any other staff just him.
